So what does Yea Forums think? To me it looks like it's got loads of potential and the first episode was comfy.

Cute! Nothing more to say.
Like Mao Mao as a character and protagonist, a very fresh change to the many cartoons where kids or teens are the main characters. I also like his deep voice tough.
Makes me nervous about OKKO's future. Seems like an excuse to nod to anime to excuse frame skipping. At least OKKO sacrificed on-modelness to keep the animation smooth. This looks like it's combining off-model and frame skips.
>The show is based on the independent teaser short I Love You Mao Mao (愛してる MAOMAO),
So this is just more jap inspired garbage?
>comfy
SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU FUCKING FAGGOT IT'S SHIT IT'S FUCKING SHIT
Mao Mao needs to be cuter. He's a little...weird looking.
>off model
It's a flash/toon boom puppet rig animated show, it inherently can't go off model outside of any deliberate special poses
Sneak peek of a new episode, it seems
I fear for OK K.O.!’s future because of all these new CN shows that are getting greenlit and renewed for second seasons.
>Apple & Onion
>Craig of the Creek
>Summer Camp Island
>Victor and Valentino
>Infinity Train
>Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart
>Tig n' Seek
That’s a lot of fucking new shows. Add the countless number of OK K.O.! Krew members who’ve moved onto other projects (Danny Ducker just recently announced that she’s working on Battle Kitty now) as well as pic related, and it’s starting to look like CN somehow doesn’t see the potential in OK K.O.! becoming AT and SU’s spiritual successor and one of its leading flagship cartoons.
The show is a literal love letter to Cartoon Network AND Hanna-Barbera‘s decades of history—not to mention, it’s funny, action-packed, and heartfelt—yet the network continues to toss it off to the side as if it’s some kind of burden.
I LOVE YOUUUU,
I LOVE YOU MAO MAAAAOOO,
sauce?
Why are the backgrounds so fucking pretty? Like, they look about eighteen times higher quality than anything else in the show, it's a weird art direction to have these gorgeously painted backgrounds with flash-animated characters.
>excuse frame skipping
What's to excuse? If a show decides to not animate on 2's Disney-style, that doesn't mean it's wrong.
Why did they name it after the Chairman Mao? Commie SJW crap.
>he hasn’t seen the absolute kino that is Guards

Many thanks user. My sides are broken now.
Just watched the first episode and in the past few years only this and Hilda has completely sold me on a show in one episode. I've been pretty close to completely dropping western cartoons with so much shit ending but I might stick around for this and potentially Amphibia. The only thing that I didn't like was the one dimensional personalities of the townsfolk. I'm hoping that was just an introduction and they're more fleshed out and likable if the series actually takes place in this town because the 3 main characters are insanely likable.
Fuck You!
>Hilda
>Amphibia

I like the fact that a cat is the protagonist. Usually it's a dog while the cat is a sidekick or a bad guy.
I like MaoMao, but I don't like his two sidekicks. Adorabat reminds me too much of GIR with the whole "SCREAMING IS FUNNNNNNNYY!" while Bearclops or Badgerclops or whatever has this Regular Show slacker attitude that isn't quite hitting with me. Maybe it's the voice actor? I don't know. Something about him is just bland, I think it might be the voice.
Holy shit, I remember watching this on Newgrounds years ago. Weird seeing a Newgrounds guy getting his own show.
Looks a lot better than most of the shit CN has churned out in recent years.
What animal is cyberarm guy? A dog? A big fat cat?

I would've thought it was really cool if someone told me this show would have a Panty & Stocking-esque monster. And it's a good design, but in context it's just unoriginal for the sake of a reference.
I'm feeling really burnt out on anime references these days.
Dude’s name is literally ‘Badgerclops.’
How come we have heard literally nothing about this show until now? We've known about Infinity Train, Owl House, Amphibia, etc. for years now and it seems this show just came out of nowhere. How did they keep it under the wraps for so long?
I've been making threads for months. We knew it was coming, through copyrights and leaks. But all we had was the old footage to consider.
There was the teaser in 2014

Badgerclops looks like he's straight out of We Bare Bears
The only people who were already aware about the show’s existence knew through Trademarkia and some of Parker’s hinting Tweets. But that’s only a tiny minority, so most were completely unaware of it until this past Monday.
