At least they learned from their mistakes while making LoK, the quality in the last two seasons was notably better.
No clue how they're going to translate a near-perfect animated series to live-action.

The first three things here are actually believable which is scary, hopefully they dont do it but i have no reason to believe they wont

If you're referring to Aang having to kill Ozai, that would've been fucking over the moral conflict of the show. The decision to remove his bending but keep him alive was the best option for the narrative.
I do agree about the convenience of the rock and the Lion Turtle, the latter is only tempered by the fact that Aang did have to struggle with energybending to remove Ozai's power and it wasn't that easy for him.

Hey Bryke make a standalone Azula series and hire Aaron Ehasz and me to do it.

No I mean the possibility of him killing Ozai being a thing at all in reality, or at least the show not insisting it was the only solution. It tries to have its cake and eat it too when the audience can plainly see there's no fucking cake at all. It's all a false dilemma because Aang was never going to kill in cold blood in a damn Nick cartoon.
Fuck off the removal of the bending wasn't a decision, it was a gift from the writers when they realized they wrote themselves in a corner, and it was narratively nonsensical. Aang didn't have to work for that compromise and I don't give a shit if he frowned a bit when energybending, that's not a substitute.
