Should Marvel wait before adding Wolverine into the MCU? Not only would it avoid being immediately overshadowed by Logan (the movie), but it would put the other underutilized characters in the spotlight.
Post credits scene could be out of frame claws coming out.
What if they introduced Laura as Wolverine instead of Logan? There's precedent for it (Ant-Man), and it would prevent comparisons with Jackman.
Jason Powell
>not trying to print money i'm not holding my breath
Charles Nelson
Yeh that'd be great, especially if they kept the actress from Logan. Judi Dench play M in 2 separate 007 continuities and people were fine with it.
Nolan Long
maybe in 15 or 20 years and not Dafne Keen ofc, idk if they'll use the same cast from Deadpool, they maybe change all the others, wan't the guy that plays Weasel metooed?
Jeremiah Barnes
Yep. The only reason I ever want to see Wolverine again is to see an accurate outsit but even that is pretty shallow.
Nathan Perez
Logan is old alraedy. Cast someone who is actually an angry looking manlet and not a supermodel type who can't say 'bub' convincingly.
Adrian Thompson
>Should Marvel wait before adding Wolverine into the MCU? The news said that they were excited to recast Wolverine back when they anounced the merge. I suppose he will be a shitty tv actor because who the fuck want to be tied in a >10 movies deal with Disney + cameos, the big actors only play small roles or villains.
Adam Allen
They should wait 3-5 years as it stands huge jacked man IS wolverine in public perception.
>Should Marvel wait before adding Wolverine into the MCU?
yes they should with the X-Men in general
let's make getting the Fantastic Four in more of a priority
Thomas Torres
>shitty tv actor One of the GoT ones, perhaps? Marvel grabbed at least two already, no?
Blake Long
>Multiverse shit >Have Laura actually be from that Logan universe and played by the same actress >Be main Wolverine (for now) maybe have an alternate universe Jackman popup during one of the movies (Exiles?) for an 'emotional' bonus
Levi Roberts
He still has a good relationship with Disney, seeing as he was allowed to reprise his role as Fred from Kingdom Hearts 3.
Picture this if you will >Mr. Hulk D+ show >Living peacefully in northern Canada >studying and doing science in the woods or whatever >Starts investigating/hunting the rumored Wendigo >Stumbles upon a facility >Weapon X >Free all the captive mutants >Including Wolverine A roundabout hulk 181
Blake Brooks
If you want Asian get Daken. That way he can fit in with Dark avengers
I don't really see it. He doesn't ooze that straight man charisma that Cyke has. Although none of the previous actors have. He could maybe pull off a Braddock, the crazy reality warper one, forgot the name.
Elijah Diaz
Say what you want, but I love this era of Ultimate X-men
Justin Taylor
Jon Snow is a manlet.
Just saying
Elijah Turner
They really should add F4 first, making them the new face of the MCU, then the X-men.
Juan Mitchell
>They really should add F4 first, making them the new face of the MCU, then the X-men. Every previous Fantastic Four attempt is going to make them a little gun shy on that one.
The smartest move Disney could do would be not introducing Logan in the first movie
That said, we don't exactly know when the X-Men will be brought in either and it won't be for another 5 or so years
Josiah Jones
Those previous attempts weren't MCU. And yes, that makes a big difference
Blake Cox
I'm pretty sure Keanu Reeves desperately wants to play him.
Jonathan Campbell
That would be nice like 20 years ago but he's a)54 now and I'm pretty sure Marvel will want a Wolverine for a long haul, b)Not short enough, I'd like them to try to be comics accurate since Hugh Jackman can't be imitated
Jose Hall
This. Fantastic Four hasn't been done to death for 20 years and there are so many characters they can introduce. On top of the fantastic four themselves being great.
Yeah, the height is the main issue I have with him. He's pretty grizzly, proven to play tough guy characters pretty well, and he's actually Canadian!
Blake Sanders
They have the perfect Wolverine, unfortunately they decided to cast him as Venom instead.
Sebastian Miller
I mean, that's just Sony's casting, no? Couldn't Marvel Studios just say 'fuck off' and cast Hardy as Wolverine too?
William Fisher
By "They" do you mean Sony? Because Sony is behind Venom. And the Venom film isn't part of the MCU.
Mason Edwards
>They You mean Sony and Tom Hardy is like 5'11
Christopher Kelly
Steve Buscemi Mole Man Mark Hamill Impossible Man
Wyatt Garcia
They need to wait years before an X Men movie, just little hints here and there, then introduce Wolverine in the first X Men movie as an Alpha Flight member or a Shield guy like Ghost, with his classic costume that he never takes off so we don't see his face until the very end of the movie All this if the movie isn't already too bloated, it should be six X Men like the six Avengers, my vote goes to Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Gambit, Rogue, Storm and Beast
Luke Walker
Nah, in live action I usually prefer dudes to be the close combat guys, makes for better fight scenes. Plus Laura is dull as fuck.
Jaxon Long
>Homecoming The movie where the main character had the highest screentime in all the MCU except IM1.
Cameron Cruz
You know nothing Jon Snow
Adrian Torres
>5'11 He is NOT that big of a guy. He's 5'9 and stocky; he's almost perfect. They'll cast tall people around him anyway so he'll look smaller.
Henry Martin
Fantastic Four is so much easier to add to the MCU, and they generally fit the tone of the universe as well.
Just start by slowly building them in (name dropping, adding supporting characters) and then give us the something that puts the FANTASTIC in Fantastic Four.
Luke Price
Everyone is more that willing to forget the previous attempts. Fan4stic didn't even make that much of a lasting impact despite being universally reviled
Jose Green
>and they generally fit the tone of the universe as well. reedrichardsdecidedbetweenscienceorhisfamily.jpeg
you've got more chance of getting your dad to suck you off
Daniel Cox
>you've got more chance of getting your dad to suck you off So it's a done deal then.
Nolan Cruz
Yes, Kit Harington is a safe bet, maybe Rose Leslie as Jean too, I would pick Dormer again, she is barely in a couple of scenes in The First Avenger, and Hannah Murray if she lose weight
Samuel Reyes
>Iain Glen I want Rufus Sewell as Magneto or maybe as Doom but Doom is just a voice actor
as cool as that might be, can we have a villain other than magneto? please?
Levi Brown
What you don't like the standard female character "wrap legs around head and whirl around their body randomly" takedown?
Kayden Mitchell
I think he will be in the background and will be the villain at the end of the first 3 movies or in the next crossover
Chase Mitchell
Actually I prefer that to when they take out huge dudes by out punching them. At least it utilizes women's possible advantages in flexibility rather than pretending they hit harder than guys. No, my issue is mostly that stuntwomen just aren't as good as their male counterparts.
Grayson Barnes
Magneto hasn't been a proper villain since X3.
Wyatt Allen
It's literally the same exact move every time, how can you possibly prefer that to variety?
Liam Garcia
No. That will just reinforce the narrative that Wolverine is the star.
Parker Ward
I'm toying around with a Batgirl script right now and I'm expressly trying to avoid that move entirely.
Bentley Rodriguez
Are you really going to go the pretending to be retarded route or do you really think literally all the moves are vagina-fu? That's as retarded as pretending that every fight is just one type of punch. Vagina-fu IS variety when you've already got 4-6 fuckers around with barely any style difference between them.
Andrew Morgan
christ it's like you want to put the Fonz in The West Wing
look at this fucking joke picture, it's no wonder they seriously believed Gambit should be a fucking furry in a fedora
