Memes aside, I genuinely can't think of a reason another season would exist. Magic's gone, there's no way to combat monsters beyond traditional weapons and Star was only unique because of her magic and heart things on her cheeks. With both of these things gone she's just another bland female protagonist who escapes consequences.

With the end out, and dust settling down I guess it's a good time to mention this. Cleaved was intended as an hour long episode. What you saw, pretty much was the basic skeleton but the longer idea explained a few things that were left vague. For example Marco staying in the magic realm was because his wound didn't allow him to leave. Hpoo fate was even more ambiguous though.

Realistically how would our military groups react to these Monsters, and while if a good chunk of them were nice and apathetic like us some like ponyheads and such were super stubborn and refused to cooperate due to thinking of themselves as more deserving of status.

Cause lets be honest there's no way some of them are just going to be okay with abolishing their monarchical statuses.

Someone write this up where Star realizes Earth and its VASTLY superior military is NOT okay with sudden appearance and medieval humans and monsters atleast after some initial attempts to converse with them and figuring out they're more trouble then they 're worth.

Do you really want a season 5 after what happened in season 3 and 4? The staff managed to create a rushed ending after getting the greenlight for 3 and 4 back in the season 2 finale. How the fuck do you poorly plan a series finale after getting TWO seasons to work with? Nefcy really believed she would get a season 5, and made season 3 and 4 under that assumption. I’m glad there will never be a season 5 because it would mean more disappointment and relationship drama.

To be honest i think star and marco are screwed. Destroying magic probably pissed off many if the mewmans, even if she had a reason. Then the monster/human relations are likely getting worse right now. Thus not only will some humans leave for mina, but many monsters will also go back to their old homes, thinking it's more peaceful there. Of course Mina would just kill them, and take the humans with open arms. So now mina gets a boost to her army while also drawing first blood in this new stage of war. AND Star loses much of her army while still having to deal with unity in her multicultural society.
On top of all this, Star was so reliant on magic, that she likely won't have the know how to face Mina. Mina just needs a bit of time to adapt and collect some bodies (which won't be hard). Star needs ti learn how to fight all over in a different way. And with all the stress she's going through, it may not be possible.
The best case scenario i see for star is that both her and Marco leave on night and never return. They live a peaceful nomadic life the rest of their days, hiding from Mina. Worst case is having them both be killed or captured by Mina's army (and if they're captured they'll likely be killed anyway)

Mina isn't a charismatic leader, I don't think she'd be able to get a very large following.

They didn't have it much better before. Things would change, and Star wouldn't be a part of the new order.
