The Boss has amazing techniques, she's basically like an MMA fighter.

Captain Am*rica has super human strength, though. I'm not familiar with the guy, I don't really watch Marvel shit. But he could probably tank dozens of attacks by the Boss and still be fine.

Isn't big boss not enhanced at all? He's just pure skill? Cap is pure skill plus low level super strength/durability/stamina.

They both kind of have the schtick of being a great soldier that beats enemies that should be out of their league. Its just Big Boss uses more explosives and guns while Caps shield is basically another superpower.

Big boss is just a faggot who goes on to become a supervillian because his pseudo-mother/lover died.

Actually that's just it, Big Boss would be a Cap villain, like the original Metal Gear games post-unfreezing Cap fighting the antagonists instead of younger Solid Snake.

To my knowledge the Boss wasnt enhanced at all, she was just an insanely good soldier. Saying Steve has super human strength on the other hand is a bit of a misnomer. He can bench half a ton, sure, but that's far from impossible for a human to do. Steve was enhanced to be basically Olympian+ levels; he's always at the fullest potential a human body can physically achieve. That said he's still a flesh and blood human and can only take so much punishment before shit starts shutting down. I'd imagine he'd have Boss beat in stamina/brute strength but Boss has the edge in tactical thinking and pure fighting technique.

MCU and Ultimate Cap are both outright superhuman.

Even comic Cap is in the low super strength range, probably 1 or 2 tonner max.

He also has tons of ludicrous strength feats like overpowering super strong opponents, giving Namor trouble etc.

I think it explained it as Ocelot REALLY WAS possessed by Liquid in MGS2, due to his Medium bloodline he inherited from the Sorrow, which is why he had the arm chopped off and replaced by an artificial robot arm between games.

But that he then PRETEND to still be possessed by the will of Liquid via self-hypnosis and nanomachines in order to fool the Patriots.

You can tell the difference because in 2 when he was being possessed by Liquid he even spoke with his voice but in 4 he's only ever talking with his own voice.

Its complete bullshit but I'm pretty sure the Cobra Unit were a special commando team that operated behind enemy lines all the time so there was no one around in the field ordering them

iirc the reason was that they thought the metal gears needed more things to do, but barely worked on their own. One of them even had to be piloted by a psychic. The later ones introduced in mgs 1 and 2 were autonomous.
