Drawings of children aren't children, user.

You’ve drawn negative attention to yourself.
Expect to meet an unfortunate fate of circumstance soon.

The powers that are behind this... they’re not known for taking risks.

drawings of children haven't been allowed on .xxx for years now

do you mean paheal?

Yeah got the websites mixed up, my point still stands. Not looking for attention or memes just legitimately curious what the legal position is on this. How do they get away with it?

18 U.S.C. § 1466A disagrees with you user

R34 has a no CP rule tho?

I don’t see anything but drawings in that site, care to explain what you mean by this?

All drawn charachters are above the age of 18, despite their appearance

Just host the site outside clown world USA and burgers can cry all they want.

The point of anti-loli laws is to go after realistic portrayals of kids that could have been based on real children.
Nobody gives the fuck about drawings of cartoon characters. It's like laws about toothpaste selling

Drawings are still CP according to 18 U.S.C. § 1466A

Source?

Accidentally hit send
>It's like laws about toothpaste selling on Sunday. It may be the letter of the law, but nobody cares about prosecuting it. It doesn't hurt anybody, outside of some prudes' feelings, and there is no political agenda there.

It very clearly states all the people featured are 18+

>18 U.S.C. § 1466A disagrees with you user
Could I get in trouble for pic related?
Because I really like this image and I'm not deleting it.

While I agree with your point, I doubt that many would appreciate the distinction.

Why did you make this thread (

...

People like OP ruined the site.

Eh, it is, admittedly, a weird issue. But it's also niche enough that few really know about it. Though I agree, if a news-worthy controversy ever happened, it's likely that the popular vote would be in favor of stricter enforcement of anti-loli laws, not because it harms anybody, but because conservative people think jerking off to it is "degenerate" and "sinful" while strong liberals think abuse of fictional characters is as socially wrong as abuse of real kids

remember this rule never fails

What rule? Who smelt it, dealt it?

If you were a male loudly against gamergate youre likely a pedo

the people raving on Yea Forums against "all the pedos" are usually just pedos themselves that want the police to search away from them

How are you functioning enough to make a thread on an image board with autism so bad you can't tell stylized drawings apart from photographs?

>people will fall for bait this obvious

while i hate loli/shota being forced to my face and find the people that enjoy it disgusting most of the time, i feel that as long they don't post it in underage filled websites and stay in their sites i don't really care as long they're anime/cartoon characters

>How is this website legal?
It's not, it violates copyrights all the time but it's hosted in some shithole that won't bother taking it down

LOL, what a vague law. It's like it's tailored specifically to create a loophole in free speech and freedom of expression in case a judge wants to lock someone up for a picture he doesn't like. Good thing I don't live in Dumbfuckingstan with all if it's wonderful "freedoms".

>He lives in the Uk or New Zealand

>fanarts
>copyrights law

Yes.
If you draw fan art, even of a trademarked character that doesn't belong to you, the actual art belongs to you, including all rights to its reproduction, display, performance, and so on ("copy_rights_")

If some site takes your art and reproduces it or displays it without your permission, they are violating your copyrights.

Like I said, the site is hosted in some shithole country that doesn't enforce copyrights very strictly, which is why it stays up.

But that's stupid, it only attracts attention to the site. FBI doesn't monitor the threads taking notes of who says what.

I wonder what glorious country you live in, care to tell?

>living in the Anglosphere
lol, might as well build a time machine and go live in nazi Germany over and over. No, my country is actually in the top ten in freedom indexes, unlike yours that fails to even crack the top 30.

Care to elaborate? What does the language of the law actually say?

nobody's art was stolen, they have a list of several artists that can't be posted because they said so.

He's full of shit, they are not equivalent. Even puritanical Americans aren't that retarded. But they are considered illegal if they are "obscene" and present "no artistic merit", both of which are left up to the judge. However it seems that people don't get charged just for that, it seems like an add-on offense that they give to people who have actual Captain Planet to lock them up for longer. Seems like the police understands that their resources aren't well spent hunting people who jerk off to drawings.

The legal position is that nobody wants to fucking talk about it

That was my understanding. Not pursued unless you can fuck over a real freak as much as possible.

>nobody's art was stolen
damn son that's a good joke

The art wasn't removed from it's source. It wasn't stolen.
