Disney intern here. We're trying to build hype about a new Darkwing Duck series. What did you LOVE about the episode of DuckTales featuring Darkwing Duck?
Positive feedback only. No trolls who obviously didn't watch episode rambling about "nu-Disney" or "shitty reboots". The new series we're planning on doing is a fresh new take for a younger generation that pays homage to the outdated version, so no whining about "ruined childhood". Don't like it, keep it to yourself--you know you'll watch it anyways.
FEMINISM. AND LOTS OF IT. Also, give Drake Mallard a gay love interest--no more last minute lesbians. Make half of the characters LGBT

I'm actually not sure what the hell is going on here and I'm going to guess you're not a Disney intern, but a DWD fan spamming the board with DWD threads now for some reason or no reason. But if the show did ever come back, I'd want to see Gosalyn and Morgana. If crossovers happen, it would be fun to see Morgana and Magica interact and maybe even have a magical battle like in the BOOM! DWD comics. Gosalyn interacting with this new Webby and Lena would be fun, she'd get along with them really well, I think. And the Muddlefoots. I think seeing this new much nicer interacting with Gizomoduck could be fun. Maybe a rivalry but more of a friendly, playful rivalry since again, this guy is a nicer guy. Seeing Drake trying to balance his acting career with being a superhero would also be fun, and some jokes about how he took his identity from an old show. Drake in the original was an average suburbanite kind of guy. Is this Drake a C-lister who lives in a pretty typical suburb, or is he a penthouse Hollywood type? Either one could actually be funny. Drake as a C-list fame hungry actor is more like the original, but making it different where he's a pretty successful actor even if this one project got cancelled could be funny as a divergence. deviantart.com/hard-headed-woman/art/Darkwing-Duck-DuckTales-Style-720145733 The father-daughter relationship should still be the heart of the show like it was in the original. I'd want some creative way to get characters like Megavolt back since right now they are just fictional characters. Having them all be fanboys or the actors would be kind of silly, so some other ideas.
Thank you for your input and believe me when I say we plan to make sure our updated telling of Darkwing Duck plans on being very conscientious and empowering in regards to equal rights and LGBT individuals. We intend to have an lgbt relationship within the main cast (maybe Gosalyn *wink wink*).

Personally I believe that Launchpad should be the side kick to Darkwing Duck, a sort of special hero that could even wear the Darkwing outfit from time to time. Which would be totally rad if I, I mean he would wear it on the Sunchaser carrying Mr McD, I mean, Scrooge to his important business trip. That would be so righteous or my name isn't Launchpad, which it isn't. Oh wait, is it? Right. No. It isn't. Wait. Yeah.

you could do more on the slap stick and less on the seriousness. I understand that you want to relive some aspects of our child hood, but some fightscenes feel too forced for action on cartoon ducks. Maybe focus on the comedy more and less being actioney?
