There was a casting call for young twin boys for Endgame, and people assumed it would be introducing Wiccan and Speed, but movies often use twins to play a single child role. It's not clear what the role was going to be.

There's an entire issue which is literally just Nadia getting introduced to all of her relatives and being explained how they're related.

With, y'know, the one notable exception of Victor, for OBVIOUS REASONS.

She doesn't have the history Iceman did, but it's still erasing a character's history to re-make them into someone new. Like Bendis, Waid did this because a bisexual character can possibly end up in a lasting heterosexual relationship, and that can't be allowed.

Waid only did this to Viv because he was being asked on Twitter which one of the Champions would be gay, Viv was the only one he had any control over, and he didn't have the sense or balls to respond with "none of them" and introduce his own OC if he wanted to appease them.
