Both versions of Darkhawk are great and it's a shame there's no way to reconcile it.

Extremely loosely. The earlier seasons regularly referenced the invasion from avengers 1 but they basically gave up on making it a cohesive universe after that point with everything going on in the MCU.

They mentioned Thanos devastating Xandar/the Nova Corps so it seems likely they'll introduce him in next phase.
