They really didn’t have to show us any of this.

The show's quirkines and comedy aside, that was a sinister death for such a fairly goodhearted character.

>dead babies
Ok, but why? Why? Not that this shocks me or some shit, but that... is actually quite fucking brutal and fucked up. Like, wtf?

the finale ignore the origin of that place entirely and makes it just a convenient battlefield.

Try not to think about it. It's obvious the showrunners/writers didn't. And no-one down the line objected hard enough to change it.

he seriously compared chicken lives to human lives

That assumes that she was actually there, instead of being a ghost. An impression of the person left over from their death and animated through magic.

>tfw the only reason the black magic corruption was introduced was an attempt to dilute the clear injustice of her being killed by Star’s actions by making her creepy and aggressive with sharp teeth.

Reminder Eclipsa kept on trying this whole scene to convince Star/Moon to sacrifize her own energy to cast the total anihilation spell against Mina and leave the other soldiers without leadership.

Why didn't they listen to Eclipsa?! Her plan didn't involve the death of third parties, just the enemy (and maybe herself)

Attached: efcc78410347e4d34382c32412222c3a.gif (500x281, 2.14M)

>and maybe herself
oh can't do that, love is more important than magic

God, that entire scene would have been 100+% more fucked up w/o Corrupted Magic justifying the death of Magic.
Better that it didn't happen though. I don't think the writers would have done it justice.

It would've been a repeat of season one where Star kills magic as she knows it (the wand) with the Whispering Spell.
This time, Marco wasn't in danger, so they had to come up with some other justification for it, and since none of the other characters matter, just make them evil instead.

Unrelated, but how was Meteora able to use corrupted (green) magic when the realm of magic was purified and reborn by Star's hand?
This was before Moon went in and corrupted it.
Is there actually evil magic?
This show flip flopped way too hard on core points. The forces of evil were undone by the writers, not the characters.

Meteora's magic isn't corrupted... it just happens that green is her color.

Green magic only meant corruption/stress/bad emotions in Star's case because it had a different color from the original pure light yellow/pink.
Same reason Meteora has two Butterfly modes, if using pure magic (feeling calm) she is light green but when in an extremly dangerous area her wings turn purple (Neverzone)

Attached: 61a62f8142325e0c41c34a8a904886a0.jpg (735x501, 46K)

I don't see them melt in front of my own eyes.

>The forces of evil were undone by the writers
The story went from Monster of the week/Big Evil into a societal allegory. And it sure didn't seemed planned as so. Thus, the ending.

Meteora is going to look great without the clover marks.
She was already hot in Gone Baby Gone but damm! If you erase the clovers she looks amazing.

Kek

Dude I've only seen a clip of Star vs the Universe and it has Marco and some demon girl watch a bunch of screaming souls get sucked up and call it sunrise

Show is edgy

She was Star's daughter. So murdering her sent a powerful pro-choice message to the children.

No opinion on abortion would be more inane than "It's murder, but should be allowed in cases of rape and incest". That's like saying it's okay to murder someone if their dad's an asshole.

I find it hard to be attracted to her because I know she's unattractive as an adult.

Attached: miss-heinous-star-vs-the-forces-of-evil-8.32.jpg (210x240, 20K)

oh fuck off you faggot

Miss Heinous isn't the half-monster Meteora though, and you have to admit that she still looks good for a 300 year old.

The design is different because Meteora changed her appearance completely when she was Heinous (including face shape) to meet her robot mom expectations.

Adult Meteora will look nothing like Adult Heinous.

Not to mention she is at least in her 60's in that picture and Star is far uglier at that age, as we saw in the Father Time episode.

bug people have no emotions

Reminder:

>Star's plan consisted on the genocide of magical creatures

>Moon's plan consisted on doing nothing and hide... causing the genocide of Mewni's citizenship

>Eclipsa's plan consisted on all 4 queens taking over the enemy and saving everybody.

But yeah, let's ignore the Queen because of a teenager's tantrum and her traitorous mother.

Attached: 0f9cbd03d3443580a8b32e331eb6ccc6.gif (500x516, 896K)

well the only reason Eclipsa is alive now and was able to reunite with her family was because of magic

Which proves once again how retarded Star's plan is, as she has forgoten magic can also be used for good.

If they had followed Eclipsa's plan instead, nobody would have complains with the finale

Attached: 3cfad843c7dd9a7ed6172b86a26371ed.jpg (736x556, 65K)

No, that's like saying "It's okay to murder someone if they're inside your body against your will." which IMHO is a reasonable fucking take.

Think of it as covered under Castle Doctrine. You red staters love that shit. Would you hesitate for a second to shoot a pregnant woman breaking into your house even though the child doesn't deserve to die? I doubt it.

What color is she?

Is the woman breaking into my home holding a gun herself? If that's the case everybody would shoot.

>Yea Forums will fall for this bait hard

Would the ghost of Solaria have been able to turn off the Solarian warriors?

>waiting to see if the person breaking into your home is armed
Enjoy being dead. Literally the entire point of Castle Doctrine is you don't have to do that.

I know the show is edgy, but not that edgy. And not a cool edgy either.

Attached: mv0Lo6f.jpg (529x292, 16K)

Nah, only the usual /pol/ tards will.

3 Queens, I don't think she considered Meteora a possibility

Remember when this was a magical girl show and the biggest threat was a lizard man with a secret plan?

Mina aknowldged her as the real Solaria, she also said that she would obey any order from her.

Yes because she is a great example of having proper mental facilities...

I wouldve liked if Star really talked in detail with Moon and Eclipsa on WHY magic is bad and needs to go away forever. You cant just do an irreversible action like that that will absolutely kill some beings and not think about it before you commit it.

You can if your show is suddenly cancelled.

>You cant just do an irreversible action like that that will absolutely kill some beings and not think about it before you commit it.
You have to keep in mind that Star is literally the stupidest possible version of herself across all possibilities.

Which reminds me, did Princess Caterpillar lose her magic too?

Attached: 269bd96dc4b378a717b95395322be780.jpg (736x734, 63K)

Only good thing about this ending is the art and stories made about the horrible implications.

As shitty as TomStar was, it would have provided a better closure for Mewni.

>Morning star, or in latin: lucifer

Humm...

The Firstborn was already dead when Star got back to the Realm of Magic. We saw her skull emerge out of the water.

Humans are lore useful
Because life is based on use, of course

My thoughts on the matter- would putting down the Knights really solve anything in the king term? So long as magic exists and the fact that the monarchy out down a rebellion i’m Sure animosity and racism would persist.

By cleaving the worlds and annulling magic, the people are basically forced to reconsider a lot of beliefs and prevent them from holding onto old grudges now thanks to the chaos of two merged worlds.

Just a perspective. Rip Heckapoo

Or all of the invaders are shot by humans because they're fucking monsters and people tend to not like dangerous creatures.

>Mina sees Solaria approving on Meteora in the Realm. That gaves her an idea.

>Hides in the forest and waits until she grows up.

>The whole cleaved situation is making things hard for Mewmans, Monsters, Poniheads etc... who have to adapt to Earth pussy moral code under the threat of their armies.

>Globgor is doing the best he can to keep things peaceful but he is raided by an armed human group and murdered.

>Mina is actualy the one behind this and has planned the murder to put the blame on Earthlings. She is still mad Star didn't let her conquer Earth (reminder she doesn't consider humans to be the same as mewmans).

>Meteora is the new teenage queen, she is so full of sorrow and hatred she listens to Mina's proposal.

>Meteora goes full Solaria, resurrects magic and crowns herself empress of all Mewman Kingdoms with Mina as her general.

>They proceed to conquer Earth with the support of Mewmans, Poniheads, Monsters, Demons, Waterfolks, Eagles and Pidgeons.

>Star is forced to watch how the Earth she loves so much is destroyed because of her shitty selfish choices.

Attached: 3b1fa76634a9db055b39cf9ff621854d.jpg (735x413, 45K)

>would putting down the Knights really solve anything in the king term?

Yeah. it would stop the Knights from murdering the monster.

>the people are basically forced to reconsider a lot of beliefs and prevent them from holding onto old grudges now thanks to the chaos of two merged worlds.

No, what happens now is that the Mewmans and the Humans band together in the chaos against the monsters. Nothing is solved and nothing changes except that non-monsters have guns to defend themselves against monsters now instead of magic.

Keep in mind, sir, that destroying magic didn't destroy Mina. It just took away her brute force. Like she herself said, ideas will persist and linger. Everything that Star did only provided more fuel for Mina's hateful rhetoric.

Immortal lizard people can only be killed by magic, no? Humanity is fucked.

>Everything that Star did only provided more fuel for Mina's hateful rhetoric.

Yeah but Star doesn't have to do anything about that, it's not her problem anymore. She doesn't have magic and isn't a princess now. All she has to do now is fuck Marco.

Toffee was killed by a stone pillar

Mewmans don't consider humans to be the same as them. That's why Mina tried to conquer Earth before.

Also humanity's vision of monsters is different as it clearly will include Poniheads, Waterfolks, Demons, Dragonbikes, Fairies and Pidgeons too.

If I were Mina I would do what user said above and poison Meteora's views on the whole issue. She is the key for magic to return.

Attached: 562790718f97227fd3b00187d387f3f2.jpg (735x855, 135K)

>the people are basically forced to reconsider a lot of beliefs and prevent them from holding onto old grudges now thanks to the chaos of two merged worlds.
Except that's the exact opposite of what would happen. Merging the worlds would completely destabilize both world governments, destroyed infrastructure, and leaves everyone panicking and confused.

The most likely outcome is that human humans will start following Mina, since she is the only one who seems to care about the monsters invading earth, and we see more massive warcrimes and genocides.

Gotta love how fast Elcipsa’s butterfly form and dark magic cleansing was

>destroy the natural order of things
Nobody cares

She was dead before Star decided to kill magic.

Okay. Did I miss something? Star did not kill millions of people.

Attached: bait, that's a hook.jpg (480x360, 34K)

People are trying to say Star killing magic was a genocide by making up millions without that ever being shown.

The only living creatures Star killed were Glossaryck, his children and the unicorns. All spells came to an end and if you wanna be dramatic about it, you can throw those in there too. That's it. Star didn't murder anyone else.

I wouldn’t sweep magic unicorn extinction under the rug

Japan will see the monsters as a gift from heaven for the ascend of emperor Naruhito. Japan has been working on genetic investigation for decades and now they have monster girls to rape and genetic material for creating supersoldiers

Attached: kamenridermanga.jpg (721x522, 154K)

At most, there were only 20 of those.

>People are trying to say Star killing magic was a genocide by making up millions without that ever being shown.
Oh. Just more Yea Forums stupidity. Nice.

Attached: Reacting.gif (728x426, 128K)

That mean they were an endagered species. What Disney have against endagered species? First they killed a rare bird species during the filming of TLJ and now this

Oh good, because an endangered species going extinct is fine given how few there are left

I mean those spells where shown to have interior lives and agency. And there where a lot of spells over history.

It doesn't matter how many there were. Star murdered one group of people to "save" another.

Mina is not even charismatic among mewmans, she is a crazy and filthy feminazi living in the woods.

Mina corrupting Meteora's mind to conquer Earthlings, as she intended in the past, is most likely to happen.

More like the writers forgot that Glossaryck and the council weren't the only magical beings, and that a whole bunch of magic dependent characters died in the aftermath.

With how open the ending was and how many unresolved plot threads there are, I'm quite sure that Daron and the crew were expecting to get renewed for a fifth season and only got told that wouldn't happen two to three quarters through development of S4.

>but that... is actually quite fucking brutal and fucked up

The narwhal risked his life fighting to save not only his wife and child from being destroyed by The Spell With No Name, but all the other spells in the wand as well. This is undeniably a selfless act of love and bravery.

And Star fucking murdered them all anyway.

I love you user

Isn't he a creation of Glossaryck though? Between Glossaryck's death and the destruction of magic, he's probably extra dead by now.

I'm proud of, Star

Attached: Ffta-marche.jpg (902x985, 96K)

He's alright, even if he was magic he's like the exemption, he lives outside of time so he could tap into magic from the past or future if its brought back.

Quasar is a bitch, she deserves to lose her magic.

Tom getting to not be a cuck would've made no difference for Mewni.

I knew someone would post this guy sooner or later

So was there ever a decision by Yea Forums if all of Earth and Mewni were forcibly merged or was chaos only for the unlucky of Echo Creek?

Yeah because both the Messiah and the Anti-Christ will be genociding folks left and right and tell ya that the other guy is the fake

The popular theory is that the realms merged.

One guy is going around trying to say that only Echo Creek was moved to Mewni. He provides no evidence for this and makes no arguments.

No indication that Father Time is a creation of Glossaryck, no. He's been in the Plains of Time literally forever, so he's just as old as Glossaryck. And has probably been active for even longer than Glossaryck, who according to the Book of Spells has "existed forever, but was born quite some time after that."

Either way it's fucked up:
>Earth and Mewnie are fused
>Which means Earth is now a clusterfuck, doomed to an era of chaos
>Echo Creek and Mewnie are fused
>The citizens who never asked for this shit are fucked, they'll never see their long distance relatives and friends ever again.

He isn't. In fact Glossaryck needs his permission to time-travel with passengers.

Attached: fd01ac0b34afebc9c28dca237ab10acd.jpg (600x800, 66K)

He's not "magic." He's just magically supernatural.

Is that stupid for a setting in which magic is real and used to justify literally anything strange that happens? Yes. Yes it is.

Isn't Omni just as important as him?

Supposedly, but he’s already died before thanks to Toffee, and reality continued just fine after that. Could be that he’s only needed to maintain a magical multiverse, and with the loss of magic that’s no longer an issue.

Because they weren't one of the types of creature that went to the clubs with Star.

No, Omni is Glossaryck's creation and he can fully control his ability anyway.

The same can't be said about Father Time.

>Star aborted her child to have sex with a spic

Attached: YOU DON'T MAKE THE PLANS.jpg (4885x3518, 1.38M)

when did they establish that the council was all created by glossaryc?

At that point it's just murder, not abortion.

Also, her child was the one unicorn she didn't murder. She was already dying when Star got to the realm of magic.

The book that got released after season 2.

this show is a textbook example of how a show taking itself more seriously doesn’t always make it better

Doesn't change that fact that she doomed many for her selfish desires. She is a killer and a damned good one.

You mean that thing Star did?

Man they were really desperate to get views away from GoT, huh.

Women having property rights is a priori the critical mistake. Castle Doctrine shouldn't apply to women in any capacity.

You forgot the high commision, and on the topic of spells spider with a top hat

>You forgot the high commision

No, they're Glossaryck's children and I made mention of them.

The MHC are glossarics children you dip.

This is all Glossaryck's revenge for that one evil wizard that got past the High Commission checkpoint with his magical artifacts.

Well said! Based baby!

Star and Marco have Spartan values, they don't need weak children.

Meteora was old when she looked like that. Everybody looks worse when they're elderly.

I wish that were me

Would the 'Kill Magic' storyline have worked better if they'd brought in the Total Annihilation spell that got talked about in the Book of Spells? The one that Solaria had Eclipsa work on and ultimately formed the base for the Spell With No Name? I mean, if you have Mina and the Solarians about to unleash a spell that will wipe out all non-Mewmans, including monsters, demons, and ponyheads, Star deciding to kill magic would have made much more sense, at least in my opinion.

Attached: Spell With No Name.png (1920x1080, 671K)

The story would have worked better if ~all~ magic was removed from existence. Any being with inherent magical properties perishes. The more magical the faster the deterioration. I want to watch Star's face twist in horror as the floating horse head falls apart before her eyes.
If you're going to go as grim as melted unicorns and the premeditated killing of numerous sapient beings you might as well throw caution to the wind and go all the way and become famous for traumatizing an entire generation of kids.

>He's not "magic." He's just magically supernatural.
Eh???

This is Doop Doop. He's spent years roasting in the sun after Star abandoned him in a shed. She knew where he was the whole time, and checked on him briefly to see if he had died yet.

Bro, all I said was if you think it's murder to abort a baby for reasons other than rape, it doesn't make sense that it's suddenly not murder when it's the result of a rape. In either case the baby is in the womb against the woman's will.

Mewing.

Good lad. you saw all of the Nefcy episodes and stopped before everything got cotugged up.

is there a trope for this? off-screen genocide or something like that lol

"Dropped a bridge" on them, I think. Archie Sonic had a similar thing where all of the Echidnas were sent to another dimension forever and Knuckles couldn't save them. This was done off screen because Ken Penders is a faggot and cried copyright breach or some shit.

in show, humans are dumb as mewmans.

the problem i see here is that people are taking the earth of this show as the same earth on real life.
the star vs ''earth'' is like invader zim earth where is more like a alternate universe where everyone is used to strange scary shit every day.
we see hoe people seems to not react to Star magic before as if was nothing.

Completely different thing tho, Marche knew it was only a book with fake characters and fake lives manipulating his friends. Marche did nothing wrong.

Is there any evidence of that? Townies in SU have the excuse of the gems literally living next to them for thousands of years so they're not really bothered by anything short of an actual invasion.

It’s honestly amazing how they could deus ex machina a solution of merging dimensions so Star could get Marco’s dick yet somehow they had to go through with the genocidal plan of destroying magic rather than finding another way

“Inferred Holocaust”. The Star vs. finale is already included in the examples.

Next she’ll just kill everyone because they aren’t satisfied

Wasn't there a theory that Star vs was an allegory for the Biblical apocalypse?

Maybe they should have taken the part where the consequences are shown and the protagonist actively has to deal with the two races having to live with one another.

The hated him because he preaches the truth

The little bitch has worn a devil horn headband since the very beginning.

Can Star really still be considered a hero in this series? The fact that she killed innocents without even taking their lives into consideration, instead just considering them collateral damage just doesn’t sit right with me

She's not, but the story and waifufags say otherwise.

From the beginning the students at school knew Star was magic and it wasn't treated as a huge deal or anything police/the government/etc. wanted to check out. With characters like Mina also on Earth it seemed to sort of imply Star's not the only being from another dimension who's been there and that people are aware dimensional travel exists (for the same reason you don't see Marco or anyone being like WHAT THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE in reaction to magic; he's just annoyed about Star messing up his shit with it).

Also from weird background stuff like Daron Nefcy apparently being the president and location names being parodies of actual locations in California, it seems like the Star Vs. Earth isn't 1-to-1 with real-world Earth anyway.

>a million babies die of abortion each year user

I mean, congrats humanity for the good news, but why is this relevant?

Borders and basic logic are an evil combination that must be struck down without any hesitation if one is to remain virtuous.
