It's honestly sad that all popular animation comes from English speaking countries, because it's always the same cultural gigs pouring through every single show. Especially for these shows for children that have to be dubbed anyway, there's no reason why all of them should come from the same 3 studios in the US and UK.

As a Dutchfag, Alfred J. Kwak was pretty big in the early '90s. Doesn't 100% count since it was animated/directed in Japan by the same studio that did the '90s Moomin adaptation, but it still had heavy involvement from the Dutch side.

Alfred Kwak is nice though. Lack of creativity obviously isn't a problem in the Netherlands. Especially Dutch sense of humor / satire is far superior to a country like the US where people seem to be overly sensitive to literally everything. Unfortunately, in a small country of a few million (how many people even live in the Netherlands) the audience will always be small so artists will always leave the country in search for the big money. Herman Van Veen went to Germany and nowadays they probably go to California or some place like that.
