That's not the issue here. It's that trans people perpetuate gender roles per se. Tat is firmly in the second-wave "radical" feminist camp, of the variety that outright denies gender roles as a valid concept. From this perspective, gender is a fiction perpetuated by the patriarchy in order to maintain its system of oppression. Transgender people are regarded as deluded in having bought into this system to the extent that they not just consider themselves as having a gender, but having the wrong one. At the same time, males and females are regarded as physically different in a way that has fundamental and unalterable importance to one's being and place in society, and transsexuals are regarded as deluded in thinking that cosmetic changes have anything to do with this, or that one can be the wrong sex in the first place.

In 2011, Tat took a hard ideological turn to radical feminism, and retooled the entire comic and cast along that subject. Lately, Trump Derangement Syndrome or something seems to have affected him to the extent that he can no longer string together a coherent plot line, and we've been getting these thoroughly mixed metaphors with unclear relations to ideological points or events in the comic or real life. I can track the general topics since I've been down the rabbit hole for a while, but it's not clear to me how this is supposed to work in the general comic narrative or even how literal the depicted events are supposed to be. That saw blade on a chain was previously a fictitious weapon found in a video game, but here it's apparently physically real. And a recent arc mixed a character playing a video game with real locations and physical consequences.

Tats identifies himself as a “radical feminist” who does not allow male to female transgenders to speak on “women’s topics” in his forums. He doesn’t allow the validity of gender transitioning to be discussed in his forums. He’s a proud self proclaimed TERF.

The logic behind his beliefs that you applied still seems to be true, but it’s more like him not believing in gender binary is why he is exclusionary towards trans people rather than instead of such.

Not according to that strain of radical feminism. They regard people as blank slates when it comes to the social roles of men and women, while at the same time holding that there are fundamental differences between men and women (which merit government policies to address). Sufficient mental gymnastics could probably make that ideologically consistent, but I haven't seen attempts, which isn't surprising considering that epistemology is not an area that most feminists prioritize. There have been a number of bits in the comic emphasizing that biological males are not welcome in women's spaces, and that being female brings unique hardships in life.

He used to be rebellious towards christianity and puritanism. Poking fun at god and satan, and having childlike outlook on how cool sex, guns and drugs are. Despite the content, all the strips are child friendlier than Calvin and Hobbes. The main character itself is a kissless virgin.

There are people who are just believers. They'll just bounce from one belief system to another until they find one they can't easily bounce out of. A lot of people when they first join an organisation or group, especially a rigid and dogmatic one have a bad habit of going full retard, embracing ALL of the tenants especially the ones who were born into the group either reject or ignore, in a vain attempt to look good to the rest of the group. I mean their ideals are still around sure, but each wave of feminism more or less supplanted the last. Describing someone as a second wave feminist nowadays would generally require them be either a weirdo that studied up on feminism, got to second wave, and decided that was their cutoff, or someone that naturally fell into second wave feminism back when it was happening and just didn't carrier on with third and fourth wave because of generational differences (one generation's conservative is another's liberal).
