Everyone has their breaking point. That Peter's is so high makes him a good person. That he's so damn terrifying once he's past it makes him a good character. Him getting serious is generally with good cause. Him half-assing a warning wouldn't make much sense either.
Also, even when he rampages, he's always ultimately still in control of himself. I think the only time he might have truly lost himself was in the first Morlun fight and Morlun was shot to death before Peter had to kill him.

I feel like the dragon is being ignored, it comes off as huge but in all of the frames but one it feels way too static, 2 pages should have been used.
Frame to should be bigger and show the dragon start his swing towards the sword, frame 3 is great, frame 4 should exaggerate the slamming of the claws and what is even the point of frame 5. It looks like he is moving away from the eye but in the final frame he is right up against it.
