Christopher Robin was actually pretty good. Then again there has never been a bad Winnie the Pooh related media. It is Disney's most consistent franchise of all time. Think about it, when was the last time you heard someone say "Man, that Pooh movie SUCKED!" Never.

Huh? Most of them has plenty of time to shine. Only Owl, Rabbit, and Kanga + Roo didn't get a whole lot of screentime, and let's be real, nobody's watching a Pooh movie for any of them.

I agree about it being somewhat cliche but after all of Disney's botched attempts at subversion lately I think it was a relief to see something they didn't fuck up in the name of subverting cliches.

About the possibility of Gadget as a feminist- as if Hollywood thinks a feminist is anything other than "Use this one to ruin everything, repeatedly." It didn't work for Wreck it Ralph (by which I mean Vanelopie). It didn't work for making Violet or Elastiagirl watchable (or emotionally stable). I think it depends on who was animating for any particular episode. Sometimes she has that longer rodent body with the stubby legs like the boys, but other times she's pretty much just a tiny lady with mouse features and sex hair
