I think the ending was probably something like Giraffe was gonna ask out mouse but found out he was going with someone else but lion probably asked her out and offhandedly mentioned his plans about doing in the losers at the dance and she wound up going with him to keep things safe with a predictable "and everything turned out okay for everyone in the end".

I'm not sure if it's even possible to write one at this point. You have these antagonists who are vicious as fuck while having sympathy-inducing backstories so the whole situation is not entirely black-and-white. Should they be defeated and humiliated in the end or do they get to have their redemption arcs?

Zebra is on a path to fall himself. He had been pretending to be Lion's friend this whole time and now he has perfect opportunity to ruin him. Meanwhile, he's about to he ruined by Myna's father. Lion is set up to fall hard and he deserves it, but Zebra we have more sympathy for and he's, at the very least, not going to get the girl. He doesn't really deserve her considering that he had been enabling Lion this whole time to spare himself from his bullying.
And Rhino... Rhino has a hard life.

Elephant by far. He's got to be the least spineless nerd I've ever seen. He's got enough guts to shrug off bullies AND go after the girl he has a crush on. I also didn't expect such a relatively positive depiction of faith in a webcomic. He obviously gets much of his strength from religion but he may be too naive about giving awful people a chance.
Good point. The primary reason behind Zebra's change of heart was Lion's feelings for Giraffe. Pretty selfish of him to only act when cuckoldry is on the table but in his defense - Lion is a real piece of shit you don't wanna mess with for no reason.
I guess that makes Mr Lion is the main villain in the story because of his parenting and teaching methods.
