Acutally, Communism is not as demonized as much as it should. The fact that there's people that still believe this is a viable ideology in this day and age it's one of the most unbelieveable things of the modern world.

The real problem with modern communist movements is that it's always being propelled by people who don't actually work in labor jobs. It's all people who work retail or customer service and never actually have to do any dirty work. Hell, they're also people who live in apartments in the heart of major cities like New York and Los Angeles where the rent is more per month than many people see in a year.

Modern socialist and communist parties are propelled by those who would benefit the least were those systems made practical. They are propelled by people who think that everybody will come up to their heights, when in reality it will be the other way around, and those people will be dragged to the pits instead.

The world is still going on even with all its faults, which is a lot more than communist countries could say.

Stalin, Mao, Castro, and every other world leader who promoted Communism ruined their own country by centralizing everything. Communists were literally incompetent at running government and made policies that caused mass starvation, mass incarceration, and mass deaths.

In America's case, everything wrong with the country at the time can be explained as local officials have far too much political power and living like kings. Bump them off than they can be replaced, or fall under their own incompetence, or federal government can step in and flex it's muscles on pants on retarded states.

With Mao, Stalin, or Castro, that option doesn't exist and you have to wait until they die for lasting change to exist.

Because some publishers remembered that comic books sold best when their superheroes were fighting a political enemy, namely Nazism. So they tried to duplicate it with Communism.

Notice that DC and Dell, which were brand leaders during that period, rarely used Communism as a generic menace. Only publishers looking for a sales gimmick used it.
