In an interview with Deadline, Gunn said: >"When you asked me what was saddest for me when I thought it was gone – and anybody at Marvel can tell you – it’s this very strange and attached relationship to Rocket. Rocket is me, he really is, even if that sounds narcissistic. Groot is like my dog. I love Groot in a completely different way. I relate to Rocket and I feel compassion for Rocket, but I also feel like his story has not been completed. He has an arc that started in the first movie, continued into the second and goes throughInfinity WarandEndgame, and then I was set to really finish that arc inGuardians 3. That was a big loss to me – not being able to finish that story – though I was comforted by the fact that they were still planning to use my script."
>Guardians of the Galaxy 3 to be centered around Rocket
The best Guardian is getting the focus, I'm already interested.
Elijah King
I hope this is true, I really don’t want a GOTG movie focusing on Gamora. I’d be happy to see a movie where RR meets his creator, or Groot visits his home planet, or Drax finds the reincarnation of his daughter, etc.
Whatever you like just no more Gamora please. More cosmic weirdness less melodrama.
Hopefully they make his creator The High Evolutionary.
I think the Gamora / Quill relationship is going to be the subplot of the film, with Quill trying to woo Gamora back and with her eventually going her own way. It'll be Quill's final loss and the first time that he'll have to truly let someone go, with her possibly coming back in the future on her own terms. It doesn't seem compelling enough to be the central drama in the film, as their relationship has always been something that's developed as a subplot.
Cameron Price
Gamora has to be part of the B-plot at least, her situation is too weird not to acknowledge and explore.
Aiden Brown
He gonna die
Angel Butler
You shut your fucking whore mouth.
Eli Murphy
Rocket and Groot are two of the children’s favorites there’s no way they are kicking the bucket
Carson Cox
Gunn wants to finish Rocket's arc. He is either gonna die or retire.
Samuel Wright
>It'll be Quill's final loss and the first time that he'll have to truly let someone go What, his mom doesn't count? Guy needs some redemption after the way he was treated in Endgame too.
Leo Ramirez
Good, he's a bro tier hero who held it together when it was most important. Unlike a few other people...
Grayson Cruz
Why does every interview with James Gunn sounds like he's far up his own ass?
Jose Butler
I think he's gonna be safe for a while. He's key to the Guardians ride at Disneyland and the upcoming one in Disney World as well as a lot of the merchandising.
Because you can distinctly hear the echoing of his colon walls.
Parker Cooper
Completing an arc doesn't necessarily mean being done with a character. It could just as well mean that Gunn wants to start a new chapter with a self actualized Rocket.
Chase Lewis
Halfworld? We getting otter waifu?
Nicholas Wilson
What's this dude gonna be doing while we watch a CGI animal cry about things?
I wonder if Lylla is going to appear in the film. I also heard the rumor that Moondragon might appear and seeing as Thanos is dead, this makes Drax's revenge complete. If this interview is anything to go by, I think this Drax, Groot and Rocket might leave the guardians to cap out the trilogy. Is he still the director? He acted like he had no control when talking about the script.
Anthony Robinson
Drax seems more likely, biases aside. His life is defined by revenge and loss. He wants to reunite with his wife and daughter, maybe he'll finally get a chance to in Guardians 3.
Aaron Russell
I want Rocket and Nebula to be best bros after they've been a team for five years.
Carter Miller
He will probably pair up with Lyla and start a new life.
Jacob Edwards
>Chris Pratt won't be the focus. Thank god.
Christian Watson
And he didnt even play a key role in defeating Thanos.
Jackson Perez
>Conservative >Hollywood treating him well You must be joking
Leo Peterson
Batista is also the kind of guy who would be good with bowing out if the script calls for it.
Dominic Anderson
Dude's probably gonna stay with Lylla or something
He's totally going to suffer, doesn't he?
Jaxson Parker
They'd make for great best friends, but I'm not sure I'd want to see them become a couple. Nebula deserves to be someone's first choice for once.
Carter Cruz
>It'll be Quill's final loss and the first time that he'll have to truly let someone go >first time that he'll have to truly let someone go >first time
He still hasn't visited Missouri since his mother died specifically because it's too traumatic for him. Hell, he was basically forced into going to Earth for the final battle in Endgame. That's still very much an open wound for him.
That being said, he totally internalized the deaths of Ego and Yondu! He pretty much looked them directly in the face while they died.
Parker White
He's never had an actual choice. This would be the first time he would have to give something up by his own decision with no excuses.
Anthony Wilson
Rocket is focused on finding out things about Halfworld as the guardians follow. Thor and Quill will be the subplot of who is in control when they learn the kindergarten lesson that sharing is caring.
I wonder how many people will end up with him as their first furry crush or crush in general
Luis White
Groot?
Dominic Peterson
>aspiring furries Really? Is he popular among furries? He is like 100% animal unlike usual anthro furries like robin hood fox
Daniel Perry
Think how satisfying its going to be to see Thor put himself back together after all of this. Everything won't go back to the way it was, Asgard is going to stay gone and all, but as long as Thor can pick up the pieces of his life and find something that makes him happy for the eventual end of his story, its going to be incredibly satisfying.
Does Thor have any untapped romances in the comic to bring into play at this point? We did Jane, and at this point him going back to her is unlikely for both casting and writing reasons. It would be a hell of a callback at this point to even remember that Sif EXISTS. So who else can they bring in so Thor has a shoulder to cry on and isn't an eternal bachelor?
Blake Brown
Not without a Rocket and Groot solo movie first.
Ryder Ward
The Fantastic Mr Fox adaptation is really popular in the furry community too, I think the consensus is if it talks and walks it's a furry no matter how animal like it looks it's still sentient and can talk.
Parker Hall
>Rocket's creator introduced as the High Evolutionary. Will likely be a weirdo like the collector and grand master. >Rocket meets Lylla, or reunited with Lylla. >Beta Ray Bill was also got his enhancements from the high evolutionary. He did this willingly to destroy Surtur, who was released by thor and loki in ragnarok. >Is dating Lady Sif.
Thomas Young
Prequel.
Colton Gomez
Thor's gonna die and reunite with all his family and friends in Valhalla. That'll be his bitter sweet happy ending.
Beta Ray Bill or Lady Sif will pick up the mantle of thor and storm breaker.
Carson Baker
>Guardians of the Galaxy 3 to be centered around Rocket
Yeah, she's probably going to be in love with Adam Warlock. Who will likely be the main antagonist.
Ryder Morales
Mark Hamil as High Evo, yeah or nay?
Bentley Bennett
I feel like, given the tone of cosmic Marvel, the best choice is Christopher Walken.
Lucas Hughes
Walrus bro soon.
Julian Gonzalez
Calling it now, High Evolutionary will be the Sovergeigns contracted genetic scientists/genetic engineer and responsible for Rocket and Adam Warlocks creation
Nathan Bell
He'll also somehow be responsible for the X-Men somehow.
Honestly will be surprised if he's featured in more than a quick cameo.
Nolan Rodriguez
Nah I’m good.
Let’s leave Eternals to plant that seed
Ethan Allen
Shut the fucking hell up even though there's like a 50-50 chance of that happening, shut the fuck up
Connor Morgan
Please god we need Beta Ray and Sif content
Logan Adams
What was he gonna do really? He's not even the strongest Guardian.
He had his chance on Knowhere. That went well
Jordan Walker
He seemed to be on set a lot for the final battle. Maybe they cut out his scenes at the last minute because Gunn controversy. Hoping for a deleted scene highlighting the Ravagers
Dylan Howard
>Thor's gonna die and reunite with all his family and friends in Valhalla I can see that happening but not in GOTG3 since Hemsworth re-negotiated his contract to stay in the MCU for the next Phase
Also, Sif is never coming back
Noah Martinez
See I was thinking Mark Hamil would show up as The Beyonder someday and they would use the usual de-aging magic to make him look like a slightly older Luke Skywalker
The Return of Lady Sif >Confirmed to still be alive by the Russo's even though the Warriors 3 have been confirmed to have died off screen in Ragnarok. Why keep her alive? They also confirmed she was dusted in the snap. Why confirm she's alive and still apart of the ongoing mcu story? She's coming back bros. >Last seen in the post credits scene of Thor 2, on Knowhere giving the reality stone to the collector. What happened to her there? Was she kid napped? Mishaps? She fucking ended up on Sakaar. >In Thor Ragnarok during the weapons scene Korg tells Thor that Valkyrie is an Asgardian and to watch out for those Asgardians (PLURAL) Korg has seen or heard of more than one Asgardian while on Sakaar. It was probably fuckin Sif. Beta Ray Bill (former champion) probably ran off with Sif.
Iol. Looks like Rocket is the correct candidate to die and revoke emotions
Joshua Kelly
>Last seen in the post credits scene of Thor 2, on Knowhere giving the reality stone to the collector. What happened to her there? Was she kid napped? Mishaps? IS AOS still canon . She ventured into non-canon universe after that and vanished.
Oliver Wilson
it's not worth it mister producer don't do it
Julian Taylor
No, youre misinformed on Hemsworth. He renegotiated in 2017 for infinity war, endgame and one more. Provide a source for future mcu... Becaue all the sources ive seen are wishful or "probable" thinking as opposed to fact.
Just because you dont want thor to die. Doesnt mean he wont.
Julian Robinson
I suspect it'll be like 2 again with two storylines running at the same time. One focusing on Quill and Gamora and one focusing on Rocket.
Though hopefully this doesn't mean they split up again. Would be nice for the team to stick together this time.
William Phillips
But Gamora is dead and other one dissapeared
Jackson Watson
Its not canon. But she is rumored to have a disney plus show in the works. A show covering her whereabouts up until gotg3 with beta ray bill would be neat.
Caleb Ward
Guardians 3 seems to have going on so much Adam will probably enter the movie and just leave cause everyone is either arguing or crying
Shes always with Beta Ray Bill in the comics. Makes sense.
Brandon Williams
>Russo's keeping her alive offscreen, confirmed in multiple interviews. >Rumors of Beta Ray Bill in gotg3 (always with him in the comics) >Rumors of a disney plus series. I dont know user...
Jace Evans
Thor dies. Sif becomes the mcu's Jane Foster Thor.
Lincoln Garcia
But Thor + Guardians means money, just look at Thor 3 when they added Hulk
If she does come back, it'll only be in that Disney+ series.
BRB has a likely chance of being in the movies but Sif, nah
Daniel Young
15-20 million and they think that includes more films in phase 4? Dude no thats literally the range for one more film. Its speculating off the 2017 renegotiation but its blatantly retarded.
Christopher Sanchez
There isn't enough interest in her character to have her take the spot. All signs point to Beta Ray Bill and I am very pleased with this.
Elijah Ramirez
>even though the Warriors 3 have been confirmed to have died off screen in Ragnarok But they didn't? To be fair they died very quickly but the Warriors 3s death was definitely shown
Carter White
Sif will be the next Thor. She's gonna get his mantle and stormbreaker. Social justice warriors and women everywhere will celebrate the diverse choice and inclusion of powerful women in the mcu. Lmao.
He can get with Nebula now. Karen Gillan is superior anyways.
Christopher Lopez
>Captain Marvel
Juan Brown
>even though the Warriors 3 have been confirmed to have died off screen in Ragnarok
Did you watch the movie? We saw each of them die.
Nathaniel Smith
>James Gunn loves subverting expectations.
Kayden Johnson
Same fagging this hard. Repeat a third time he might answer.
Easton Allen
>Fuck
Alexander Garcia
Hey we like her. That doesn mean we need to push her too much like they did with felicity.
Leo Gutierrez
> Quill and Nebula bond over losing the connections they had formed with original Gamora, and have to come to terms with the fact that things will never really be the same with the new Gamora > Nebula comes on to Quill in that cold, angry and frighteningly aggressive way that Nebula does everything. Peter doesn't know how to deal with it at first and freaks out like the manchild he is. Nebula takes his rejection about as well as she takes anything. Its implied that Nebula is going after Quill might be an extension of her sibling rivalry with Gamora from before: the fact that Gamora found Quill desirable inherently makes Quill more desirable in her eyes too. > Peter comes to realize just how open and vulnerable Nebula has become to approach him like that at all and, with some hesitation, reaches out to her as well. > because this is GotG, some combination of Drax, Mantis, or Rocket turn out to be watching this tender moment and makes things awkward for comedic effect
Christian Martin
Having it be Drax would be a nice callback to him watching Quill and Gamora in Infinity War.
Adrian Lewis
Why the fuck would someone samefag a simple fact after someone posts something blatantly wrong?
> Peter and Nebula are walking opposite directions in a hallway. Nebula stops and looks at him like a cat sizing up a mouse. Peter looks uncomfortable. > "Hey, whats u-" > "Your species. Does it reproduce sexually or asexually?" Nebula glowers, leaning into his personal space. Quill backs away slightly, bumping into the wall, blabbering. > "Uhhhhhh... sexually? We are a very sexy people. Most of us, anyway." > Nebula stands there, looking at him. If her face betrays any kind of reaction at all, its nothing more than a faint twitch of her eye. > "Good." > Nebula stalks away, leaving Quill uncomfortable and confused.
I'm pretty sure that's what Nebula considers flirting.
Brandon Parker
> Drax spends much of his time watching Peter's romance plots. He considers it a prime form of entertainment, like watching a soap opera. > He hates to miss an episode.
Xavier Rivera
And then Adam Warlock takes the soul of nugamora into the soul realm with hin to live happily ever after and then puts day ad gamoras soul in the soulless body.
Jaxon Hall
you know he does all the mocap for Rocket right?
Jackson James
An adaptation of The River Deal would be nice...a cgi Ottah would be hotter than Seldana's hideous facial prosthetics.
Kayden Moore
>implyng this entire thread isn't one samefag
Isaac Lee
>They'd make for great best friends with benefits
Ryan King
One for oral, vaginal, and anal. Choose. (The character not actress, ie if aliens were real scenario). You can only pick three and exclusively for one of the acts. The only exception is the yellow love bot, if you pick her, you can bypass the exclusivity rule. >Mantis >Nebula >Gamora >Ayesha >A random Krylorian >Aleta >Mainframe >Yellow lovebot
they fucking should go with the Rune King route - Asgard was on the verge, or beyond it of Ragnarok how many times? Aether, Loki, Hela, Surtur. They could easily make it about cycles and redeem Thor movies once and for all.
he's a cartoon animal, of course he wont die, children would riot
Bentley Jones
So Quill gets cucked again? Kek
David Hill
>More cosmic weirdness less melodrama. Rocket meeting his creator, High Evolutionary or otherwise, will be pure existential dread and melodrama, you know?
Adrian Ortiz
Again? I don't mind, but really? GOTG2 had a Rocket subplot. I'd really hope Gamora and Drax get a chance for subplots too.
Justin Miller
Would Nebula even have genitalia? She had all of her body replaced with robot parts to make her a better warrior, I don't think Thanos would have kept reproduction high on the list of features that needed to stay.
Hudson Thomas
Drax is sure to die or retire since he's only on board because of Gunn, who will probably not stay around for GoTG4.
Caleb Gray
So is each Guardians movie going to revolve around a different character after the first movie? I'm OK with that.
Jordan Gray
>The Fantastic Mr Fox adaptation is really popular in the furry community too The fuck are you on about? It barely registered for them. It has all of one page of results in e621.
Leo Jenkins
Nebula comes in with a box of sex-bot parts that she got on a less than upstanding world. She needs Rocket's help to get them installed.
Lincoln Diaz
>Fan favorite >Cheap to feature. He's just CGI plus a voice actor reading some lines while not worrying about matching schedules with other actors on set. >He prints money in the form of merch Marvel rarely makes bad decisions, and killing him would be one.
Nicholas Roberts
GOTG2 gave everyone a subplot user
Nathaniel Edwards
If he doesn’t hook up with Nebula I’m calling bullshit
Owen Powell
Looking at the replies it got. I am going to use this in every guardians thread i see.
Ayden Price
Is it about Rocket or is it about Quil’s memory drained girlfriend
Elijah Thompson
Rocket starts having a panic attack and Thor slaps him and tells him to get his shit together.
Angel Howard
What the fuck are the fashion Goldie’s even going to do
Elijah Hill
I know Gunn won't use anything modern, but...I wouldn't mind some Captain Sale.
Lylla is pretty much the only thing from Rocket's original comics that hasn't been retconned out. Not including her would be a huge waste.
Charles Collins
>They could easily make it about cycles and redeem Thor movies once and for all. Fucking yes, that'd be great.
Caleb Jenkins
>Lylla is pretty much the only thing from Rocket's original comics that hasn't been retconned out Lyllla, the Walrus and Blackjack O'Hare still exist. Afaik only the whole mental institute planet deal from the 70's minicomic was retconned twice or so. None of the characters were written off.
They apparently might have wanted to set him up with Valkyrie. There was a deleted scene in Endgame where he tries to lean in for a kiss, only for her to pull away.
>Smashcut to Rocket in a full body cast in a hospital
Andrew Baker
I just want him and Quill to be best buds. Had 2 movies of them being shitty to each other and I want to see the bromance.
Tyler Nguyen
Will Quill get some of his celestial juice back? I'm sick of Thor picking on my boy
Kayden Gomez
>"Okay, so this one vibrates, this one has its own moisture control, and this one simulates a second mouth. The Krees love it. Which one are you gonna use, tin girl?" >"... What about that one?" >"Uhh, that's just a blender..." >"Sounds interesting. I'll take it." >"But--" >"I said I'll take it, Racoon!"
Gamora might be the subplot but I think Gunn will wrap up her part of the story without that much fuss. But yeah High Evo and Rocket sounds good.
Landon Martin
They spent a lot of downtime all by themselves on that ship during those five years. I expect a line about Rocket being intimately familiar with Nebula's cybernetics.
Nicholas Myers
Make it even more embarrassing than that.
> "There's about half a dozen... uh.... 'female ends' in here. Not everyone comes with as many interchangeable parts as you. What sort of compatibility are we working towards?" > "...whats the difference?" > "You know how it is. Not every alien can do the deed with every other alien. If you got a particular in mind, now's the time to say it." > "..." > "You like Chalzwwitz? I got the parts in here to make you compatible with a Chalzwwitz." > "Human. I want to be compatible with a human." > "Yeah, I know. I just wanted to hear you say it." > "..." > "Besides, we don't have anywhere near enough parts here for a Chalzwwitz."
Gabriel Bell
Based Gunn. I always wanted GotG3 to be about Rocket after all the focus on Gamora and Star-Lord over GotG, GotG2, and the Avenegrs movies.
Daniel Nguyen
>that scene composition in panel 3 of page 2 good fucking god, what a mess.
Jordan Rivera
Not bad, could read this in their voices
Nicholas Green
Jesus, forgot about her. She WAS supposed to be RR's breeding partner in the Halfworld zoo habitat deal...
Ethan Myers
I can totally imagine Rocket being Nebula's gay best friend and being completely unphased by a plethora of robotic vaginas in a box, goodshit user
Parker Peterson
>centered around Rocket and just like that Guardians3 is ruined, he's gotten PLENTY of focus already and was the only snap survivor. this is shit and only reason it's happening is because of the characters popularity, which is fine but this is not for me.
Logan Rivera
According to the comics, she still has them. She was stranded with some idiot, fucked him, then told him "This never happened".
Luis Anderson
Gunn doesn't seem that interested in him and Feige already said he lets Gunn do what he wants. Besides this wouldn't be the first time fans bitched at him for not including Thor in his movies.
Justin Cox
She made herself a cyborg in the comics though. She probably decided to keep them. She and Geatar were close so i don't doubt they fucked many times.
John Jenkins
I feel like all the Guardians get decent focus in each of the movies and everyone got an emotional arc in 2 which is what makes it such a great movie.
Except Groot who's really a mascot for the team (ironically enough).
I don't think Guardians 3 is going to center around him but he will have his moments.
Here's what I thinks going to happen: 1. Adam Warlock is partially Quill's son having been created by his Ego DNA. Starlords portion of the story is about how he deals with this considering how his fathers dealt with him 2. Moondragon is brought in and Drax goes through an emotional change turning into an overbearing father figure because he does not want to lose his daughter again. Mantis competes with Moondragon as Drax's surrogate daughter with a lot of comedic moments. Quasar also stops by and Marvel gets their advertised openly gay characters. 3. Rocket is lamenting his place in the universe as a whole. He's become a much more mature person after the events of endgame and effectively losing all his friends just for them to come back. Everyone tries to joke with him like they used to no avail. He's suffering from a bit of PTSD and his origin is revisited. He's a lot more subdued this time around. 4. Nebula on the other hand is suffering from a crisis of purpose. Thanos is gone and the universe. She doesn't know what to do with herself and spends a lot of the movie discovering who she is as a person.
5. Thor's there but he goes off to do his own thing with 4 and Watiti's new entry. I don't think he'll be majorly involved in guardians unless Gunn already planned for it
The entire theme of the movie is fathers and wanting to protect your family in this big and dangerous world and feeling utterly powerless in doing so. I see characters dying in this movie and its free game for everyone except Groot. Don't know how or if Gamora fits in.
Hudson Ramirez
Thanos could have easily turned her into some jacked cyborg monstrosity in his attempts to make her a better killing machine, yet he retained her hotness despite all modifications. Fucking is definitely one of her intended purposes.
Joseph Stewart
Beta Ray bill shows up and he splits off on his own adventure that the remaining guardians catch up with in 4.
Brandon Cook
So what songs are going to be in the movie?
Angel Gomez
More rocket is always good, but I'm kinda bummed he won't be the gay char, not that he ever had a chance
The movie already promises a lot of new characters. I hope that rather than cutting some content they just establish some of that and develop it later. Especially if it means giving Rocket's story proper screentime. Lylla is a must and hopefully they don't subvert it and change her into something she's not to make Rocket suffer more (but I think this story will end tragically anyway and Rocket might not even survive).
Julian Lee
Before Endgame came out I heard some students in the hallway all agreeing to riot if Rocket was killed.
Nathan Green
Sitting in a space-bar, quietly having a drink, until some assholes decide to pick on the chubby guy.
Benjamin Hughes
Drax already did that in the first movie.
Henry Howard
>I thought it was gone Lying fuck. Nobody thought the characters were dead for good or that they would stop making Guardians movies, least of all the directors.
Mason Carter
Nebula should have known about humans by know right?
Lincoln Collins
He's talking about the short period of time he was fired.
Josiah Collins
>e621 popular does not necessarily mean lots of porn. redwall is also pretty popular with furries but i doubt you'll find much lewd art of that either
Angel Perry
Oh, she knows. But she is betting that Quill doesn't know she knows, and she wanted to bring the topic up in conversation with him.
Remember, this is what Nebula THINKS flirting is. I think we can all agree that Nebula is too damaged to have any idea what a healthy romantic relationship looks like, or how to initiate one.
Blake Moore
I would imagine they're going to cover his love interest for an entire movie and furries will be asshurt as a result because most of them are faggots
Charles Baker
I really hope Quill will try to teach Nebula how to dance (made even better by the fact she uses Neb's voice in the beginning): youtube.com/watch?v=0l1MTYcjazE
Jonathan Jackson
Has nebula ever smiled in these movies because if not that would be a huge character development for her
Joshua Morgan
Holy fucking based.
Brayden Nguyen
>What's in store for everyone's favorite raccoon?
Death in the form of some heroic sacrifice. The Groot he knew in 1 is gone, and the only one who ever understood him died in 2. He already alluded to his lifespan in 1 so it's definitely likely that he hasn't got much longer to live, thanks to living 5 years after the Snap and almost buying it during Endgame.
for half a second after winning against tony stank
Nicholas Cooper
V- Mantis A- Ayesha O- Lovebot
Ian Martinez
no, it's obviously because he wants to fuck him
Hudson Campbell
He’s gonna die
Nathan Russell
Could easily be used for longer than live action characters. And he's an engineered uplifted lifeform he migh be around for a hundred years for all we know. He doesn't have to die all of the movies he's in end in some kind of tragedy just this once he can get what he wants.
Thank you for saying what the other poster already said. Really added to discussion.
Kevin Russell
I suspect Gunn will treat him better than the Russos.
Personally I don't think he and new Gamorra will get together, but I think he will at least get closure
Grayson Green
There's no need to be so bitter user
Josiah Davis
>Rocket is me, he really is, even if that sounds narcissistic So he's gonna fuck kids?
Ryan Brooks
I'd rather have a movie about setting up older, jaded GotG. Start with Veteran Star Lord who has lost everything, having splintered his team chasing Gamorra and fighting with Thor over leadership. He has to bring the band back together to deal with Annihilus or Cancer verse, which becomes the Cosmic phase 4 threat. Nebula is easy to find, while Drax is off with Moon Dragon and Mantis. They look for Rocket only to find him on Halfworld with Lylla and not want to leave. High Evolutionary is end threat, who makes Adam Warlock using Star Lord's celestial DNA, and in the end sets up the big cosmic threat after they beat him.
Honestly, I'd hate for them to retread the 'Friends as family' theme though. They half assed the origins don't define you thing in volume 2 though and we cant retread that too. Best bet I can think of is placing the bigger picture first and sacrifice for the greater whole, like Rocket giving up on Halfworld and Lylla.
Ideally - Scene steal for the first act. Fuck off with Beta-Ray Bill half-way through so that whatever the villain is doesn't get its shit pushed in immediately Likely - Probably die on a toilet like elvis
Joshua Thomas
What about Adam Warlock and Gamora adjusting to her new world and living up to the dead Gamora.
Easton Carter
>Personally I don't think he and new Gamorra will get together New Gamora can just watch Nebula's recordings and fall in love with Quill all over again
Leo Peterson
Hello Mike
Joseph Wood
I really hope Rocket is still around for the next Avengers film, I need more of him interacting with characters
Meh I don't really think that counts, I want a genuinely happy smile, not a small victory smile.
Justin Wright
It would still be like watching someone else's memories even if that somebody is technically you.
Also Nebula wasn't even there most of the time even if that might work
Mason Murphy
Can we not do this?
Blake Torres
> "Yeah, I know. I just wanted to hear you say it." Teasing Nebula with her newfound sexual feelings is good civ.
Carson Allen
Vaginal: Mantis Anal: Gamora Oral: Ayesha
Brody Ward
>When you asked me what was saddest for me when I thought it was gone – and anybody at Marvel can tell you – it’s this very strange and attached relationship to Rocket. d...did he fuck the raccoon?
Julian Flores
why haven't they fired gunn over this???
Eli Clark
Based Gunn
Connor Cruz
It won't be in the main plot of the movie for obvious reasons but I'm hoping the stinger is gonna reference something from the fox acquisition. Preferably a bunch of Phalanx doing their stuff and James Spader starts talking, set off Annihilation War as the next big space arc.
Wyatt Foster
I feel like him giving up something by choice would be him telling Gamora to leave. or, you know, killing her like he was about to do in IW Not her spurning him.
Ayden Bailey
So Nebula is a Guardian now? Why the fuck would Gamora just up and vanish without her?
Bentley Smith
Rocket's arc damn well better involve getting Adam Warlock to impregnate Mantis with beautiful golden bug babies.
Chase Flores
He doesn't have that long a lifespan anyway
Jonathan Foster
Probably doesn't apply to him biologically but narratively? Probably.
Angel Hughes
I was quoting/paraphrasing Rocket from GotG1
"Aw what the hell I don't got that long a lifespan anyway"
Jace Harris
Yes, Nebula stayed with the Guardians, and so far we can only speculate why Gamora left on her own. Though I guess getting whisked almost a decade into a future where your old self died years ago and your sister hangs out with people you don't know and tries to hook you up with some human you've never seen before is a bit much to get adjusted to. Even back in GotG 1 she was at first concerned only with getting away from everything.
Zachary Perez
And people treat it as something that's confirmed. From the first Guardians to Endgame it's about 9 years. Already enough for 3 raccoons and Rocket didn't age at all.
Henry Torres
add that to already being alive for who knows how many years before the movies
Jason Walker
Granted, his health could be the catalyst to get the High Evolutionary involved, as I doubt they'd just randomly run into him and Rocket doesn't seem inclined to seek out his creator without good reason.
Joseph Gray
This. Iron Man 3 basically completed one arc for Tony Stark while kicking off a new one that played through to Endgame. Ending one arc doesn’t necessarily mean a character is done.
Ian Martinez
Rocket and other small creatures were probably like phase 1 of his tests, Bill would be more advanced. Either him or other woodland creature will probably introduce this plot in the movie.
Cooper Russell
Death flags! Git yer death flags! Buy 2, get a third free! Can't announce a death without a death flag!
Grayson Moore
FINALLY, WE FOUND GAMORA I'M SO HAPPY WE FINALLY GOT THE FAMILY BACK TOGETHER
Grayson Campbell
>Likely - Probably die on a toilet like elvis
Jackson Watson
OH MY GOD DRAX NO HOW COULD THIS HAVE HAPPENED
Ryan Howard
groot already died twice
William Martinez
I want there to be a big explosion or whatever and have an overblown mourning scene where Rocket thinks that Groot has died AGAIN and Groot just walks out from behind some wreckage in the background, perfectly fine and wondering what all the fuss is about.
Zachary Bennett
O - Mantis V - Ayesha A - Gamora

If you told me 10 years ago Rocket Racoon of all fucking Z-listers was going to become a household name I would've punched you in the dick and called you a retard.
Alas, here we are and I like ti

The fact that they managed to have a talking raccoon and have audiences take him seriously is a fucking accomplishment. Who doesn't love Rocket?
It's also surreal when you realize that it's fucking Bradley Cooper doing the voice of Rocket, who is handsome enough to be one of the MCU's leading men if he wanted to be
Carter Jackson
Is this a real page? Lazy as hell.
Austin Taylor
>was the only snap survivor Yeah, no wonder it focuses on him. He just lived 5 years without his only family and is a changed person (animal, whatever). That's a lot to adjust to.
Joshua Evans
>It's also surreal when you realize that it's fucking Bradley Cooper doing the voice of Rocket, who is handsome enough to be one of the MCU's leading men if he wanted to be But that's exactly what he's doing. Playing a handsome leading MCU male character.
Watch them make Nebula the captain for more grrl powa brownie points
Eli Moore
I would love to see Evolutionary War with the set up they got going.
Just a guy who's been on the sidelines cosmically saying "fuck it" Humans need to rule if we're gonna survive this shit. Have him rebuild Vision and Ultron and just go balls to the walls.
Hudson Perez
All these high quality stills Marvel is releasing make me wish they didn't wait until fucking August to release the Blu Ray and instead dropped it next month.
Matthew Baker
Will it be released in 2021?
Sebastian Smith
Is it me or would rocket be a power bottom?
Austin Wright
fuck off, fag
Luis Taylor
Nah he'll probably be B-story with Rocket being A-story and a Starlord and Nebula romance subplot. If not, it's possible that Thor 4 (which has been announced) will take place concurrently with GotG3 and both films feature some of the cross-cast and some shared plot points. They've already done that in prior films.
He looks weary in Endgame because the last five years of his life have been miserable. Also, he's an uplifted raccoon and his lifespan is not exactly long, so that probably also has something to do with it
Asher Brooks
They all looked weary. They had to deal with the aftermath of losing a ton of people they cared for for five years.
That said, I'm starting to wonder if Rocket is wrong about the age thing. He seems as fit and spry as he was in 2014. He's like 10 years older by the end of Endgame.
Leo Cruz
>He seems as fit and spry as he was in 2014 I dunno, we see him outrun a bunch of fully armored Asgardian guards, but then he didn't do much in the last battle. Guess we need to wait for GoTG3 and see if he pulls something like the booby trapped woods scene from GoTG2.
Logan Baker
I think that was less because him being old and more they wanted to focus on other characters. Sorta like Quill only really showed up to get kicked in the nuts.
Juan Carter
I guess the rumors of Rocket's creator and he finds a ferret gf is true
I thought the original plan was for Gunn to stop after three anyway.
Samuel Powell
>"For me it's Rocket Raccoon - intelligent, nihilistic and with a wicked sense of humor."
Robert Rogers
All Gunn said that not getting to complete Rocket's arc was the saddest part of losing the Guardians gig for him, because he's personally invested in the character so much. There's no reason to believe his story arc will sideline any of the other characters.
Nicholas Ross
can confirm, furfag here, they are possibly more obsessed with rocket than starfox or robin hood, though not as much as nick
just needs to move and behave like a person (not be sonic 2019) and that'll do it
Andrew Bell
I can see the movie ending with everyone buggering off to live their own lives, except for Quill and Nebula: >They'll have the same passive-aggressive bickering about who's in charge as Quill and Thor did >Their arguing will get more and more intense, then they fuck
Mason Mitchell
When will Ayesha start to aggressively pursue a man to have a new race's worth of babies with?
> Quill bitterly calling her a "Dick Rider Rider".
Sebastian Robinson
>joining the Phalanx lets you bang Gamora all you want How was Ultron the bad guy again?
Xavier Torres
also warlock and rocket are both beings specifically created as part of some science thing, there might be a paralell drawn there
he's a badass antihero type who is also cute and small
Zachary Phillips
i want this so long as she doesn't have racoon boobs or eyelashes
Kevin Nelson
I hope, he's a shit character
Kevin Cox
Fuck off
Austin Rodriguez
Damn it, I'm using my left eye?
Adrian Martin
They didn't need Ultron to do that
Eli Hughes
Read it in their voices, good job.
Jack Thompson
I wonder if Gunn's considered merging Lylla and Sale into one character. He's voiced concerns about having talking animals in Guardians of the Galaxy making it feel too cartoonish, so to have another character that's basically just a female Rocket wouldn't feel as put of place as an entirely different species. It would also make sense from a narrative standpoint that Rocket is from a line of experiments on one specific species that act and talk exactly like he did before he met the Guardians and opened up emotionally.
>Fanpage has more varied character movements than the official page
Andrew Myers
I like Rocket a lot. He's one of my favorite MCU characters.
I do wish the furries would calm down though. It's obnoxious.
Henry Lee
As much as I dislike altering the original character origins like they did with Ego and Quill, I can understand interweaving things in the MCU. You have only a couple of movies a year, not dozens of comic books a month to create this universe.
>though not as much as nick Who? The fox from Zootopia?
Matthew Gray
>I can't believe Gamora doesn't want anything to do with me! >And Lylla doesn't want anything to do with me! >Let's get back at them by dating each other!
Adam Edwards
I guess.
Logan Ward
>What's in store for everyone's favorite raccoon? More chances for his animators to have a lot of fun with him like in webm related.
It was probably made around the production/release of the second movie but I guess it's early enough for some tests. I believe he struggled with the idea but I don't know why. He was the one to introduce the weirdness to this universe not to mention interspecies romance.
