TS4 confirmed shit

>TS4 confirmed shit
>little hype for Frozen II
>HTTYD 3 and Missing Link are now forgotten
>Lego 2 has no chance
>everything else looks mediocre as fuck
So, what’s going to win next year?

TS4

Missing Link deserve it but they will probably give it to Toy Story and most of them will not watch all the entries again

Animation Oscar is a fucking joke

I feel it's like 2017 all over again.

>little hype for Frozen II
How so? The only teaser has plenty of views, and it's clear they're going for a different direction that isn't a retread of the last film.

To be fair we haven't seen that much of Frozen 2 apart from one Teaser Trailer

And it'll obviously win the Oscar

>And it'll obviously win the Oscar
I don’t know about that. The Academy is getting tired of Disney. This year Sony of all studios beat it at the Oscars.

Is this still eligible?

because Spider Verse is way more groundbreaking than the other nominations, while this year all of them looks mediocre

It's fucking Frozen we're talking about here tho

It was and still is the highest grossing Animated movie of all time.

And still very popular among normies and little girls

>while this year all of them looks mediocre
Only if you leave out foreign films

Maybe its time for Nippon to RISE UP

Shaun the Sheep 2.

Whats ts4

>>TS4 confirmed shit
no it isnt
>>little hype for Frozen II
debatable
>>HTTYD 3.. now forgotten
barely, and that has nothing to do with the oscars
>>Lego 2 has no chance
where do you get this idea
>>everything else looks mediocre as fuck
Debatable, also completely irrelevant to winning an oscar
>So, what’s going to win next year?
Crapshoot like always

The foreign nominations were also mediocre

You're only allowed to say the Academy is getting tired of Disney when they lose two years in a row.

It's going to be TS4 or F2. it probably should be Missing Link, depending on the quality of the writing in things we haven't seen yet.

>The Academy is getting tired of Disney.
It has nothing to do with Disney or not, and never has
It's a vote, from a group of random people, the thing with the most general appeal wins, and disney makes the most generally appealing films regularly, Spider-Verse is just something that with nothing more than a glance even the least discerning eye can identify as far superior than most other animated films. Disney wins because no one else makes films that can compete, but last year Sony did, and it also happened to be actually good. But, until all the films this year are actually released, we have no idea what's that film is, or if it will be good.

I kind of agree it might not win but only because the Oscars have a bias against sequels which may out weigh their bias for Disney.
Plus Toy Story 4 will split the Disney favoritism.

>implying foreign films will ever win Oscar without Disney's help

maybe when one is good enough. Ernest and Celestine is the only one I think has ever deserved the best film of the year (besides (debatably) a few ghiblii films, one of which actually did win), and it was at least nominated for the oscar (though it didnt win).
Most foreign films just don't end up comparing in quality to US films, even when weebs screech about Your Name even though literally every nominated film was better that year (Though Kubo should have won)

They might give Shinkai the Oscar next year to make up for “Your Name” not getting nominated.

Shaun the Sheep 2. Looks pretty great (for a sequel).

>they'll vote for a film they haven't watched or heard of, to make up for not voting for a different film they haven't watched or heard of

Frozen II is gonna win anyway and you know it.

Either Disney or Pixar.
Duh.

This is gonna take it

Because Spiderman wasn't "for children".
