Nobody likes Chamber and when he isn't making a brief appearance nobody remembers Chamber.

I fully expect Chamber and Wolfsbane to come back and Blindfold seems like the kind of character Hickman would use since she can be tied into whatever "cosmic ancient conspiracy" bullshit will be present in this story (as it's present in every fucking Marvel book Hickman writes).

Chamber's a case of people liking someone more for their design than having actually read the books with him. He spent a lot of Generation X right up until the very end being an angsty fuck which could get really annoying. When he was paired up with Skin as buddies he was a lot better though since they complimented each other well.

I think Chamber did grow a bit as a character over the years, especially after he joined the main X-team. His early 2000s solo book was fun. Either way I’ve always liked his whole “angsty English punk with a flaming mouth who dresses and talks like Sid Vicious” shtick.

I wouldn’t call Chamber non-relevant, though. He’s one of the more well-liked underground mutants.
