references to Agents of SHIELD/Agent Carter in the movies: >the new SHIELD helicarrier was first seen on the show and appeared in Avengers 2 >the Inhuman outbreak was indirectly referenced in Civil War ("over the past year there was suddenly an exponential rise in the amount of people with superhuman powers," not like there's much else that could've been referring to) >the FBI agent in Ant-Man 2 was first introduced on the show >the same Kree and Skrull alphabet that we saw in Captain Marvel first appeared on the show (and I'm like 99% sure it wasn't taken from the comics) >the whole idea that Kree blood had regenerative properties and could be used to revive humans through a blood transfusion was a major plot point in the show before it was a major plot point in Captain Marvel >Captain Marvel referenced the Kree visiting Earth at some point before Yon-Rogg came looking for Mar-Vell, the show established that the Kree had a presence on Earth for thousands of years (ok, I'll admit this one is a bit of a stretch) >FUCKING JARVIS IN AVENGERS 4
references to Agents of SHIELD in the Netflix shows: >the "Dogs of Hell" gang from Daredevil S2 was first seen on Agents of SHIELD (and no, they're not from the comics or a real life gang or anything like that, they're wholly an invention of the show) >Micro from Punisher was first introduced on Agents of SHIELD
> the FBI agent in Ant-Man 2 was first introduced on the show A name in the screen does not ciubt and the character and Agent Carter was made by Feige and made non canon in Avengers 4 > >the whole idea that Kree blood had regenerative properties and could be used to revive humans through a blood transfusion was a major plot point in the show before it was a major plot point in Captain Marvel They never said it had regeneration properties. They just used it for Carol for a normal blood fusion abd AoS. AoS alsk contradicts its own canon in Captain Marvel because Coulson did not know about the Kree and the snap did not happen on the show when it was supposed to. AoS is non canon and always will be
Jason Rogers
It literally is canon. Jeph Loeb said so.
Jason Davis
>I am so tired of this meme lol I either missed a meme or never cared to figure it out Why lol when you clearly aren't lol?
Joshua Bell
who the fuck cares lol
Dylan Miller
It's okay to admit you wasted your time watching a shitty show for literally no reason
It’s one way canon, meaning all shows are slave to the movies and never the other way around. This isn’t a hard concept to grasp. Want a good example of just how ignored AoS is? Fish pills
Joseph Clark
>Fish pills which Civil War referenced
also: the SHIELD helicarrier. indisputable example of the show impacting the movie rather than the other way around. and the Kree and Skrull alphabets in Captain Marvel.
>Agent Carter was made by Feige and made non canon in Avengers 4 how was it made non-canon? the movie tied into the show perfectly
>AoS alsk contradicts its own canon in Captain Marvel because Coulson did not know about the Kree Coulson's memory of all that weird shit was erased, it was a major plot point in Season 1
Landon Reed
> Coulson's memory of all that weird shit was erased, No Tahiti was wiped not his memory from the 90s and Agent Carter was wiped because she was getting over Steve but they git married in the past. Plus they said that they would ignore the snap making AoS non canon.
Matthew Flores
> which Civil War referenced It never did Vision said more super power incidents happened since Tony revealed himself 8 years ago. The fish oil pills didn't happen 8 years ago.
Jason Baker
>Agent Carter was wiped because she was getting over Steve but they git married in the past holy shit are you literally fucking retarded
peggy only marries steve in the alternate reality created when cap travels back to the 40s. in the mainstream reality (i.e. the one Agent Carter is set in) she doesn't see him again until he comes out of the ice. did you actually watch the movie or just see Old Steve memes and extrapolate from there?
Connor Brooks
lol season 6 confirmed AoS was always non canon. Even Ming na Wen said the show left the MCU and is not canon. Canon fag get over it. Peterson was right.
That would make it within the canon, but it would still mean it is irrelevant.
Anthony Lee
>>the new SHIELD helicarrier was first seen on the show and appeared in Avengers 2 I forgot about this. Shield got a shout out during the Sokovia incident. How can AoU be so based?
Why do non-canon fags need to screech "NON-CANON" Everytime a marvel show gets mentioned?
Why do canon fags feel the need to defend there shows by saying it's canon and acting all offended when someone says it isn't
Isaiah Anderson
>Actor on show says show is canon ACTORS DON'T KNOW WHAT THERE TALKING ABOUT ITS NON-CANON >Another actor now says it's non-canon supporting your bias BASED MING SHE'S TOTALLY RIGHT BECAUSE SHE'S AN ACTOR ON THE SHOW!!
Cooper Nguyen
nigga just let it go it doesn't matter if it's canon because it's not worth watching anyway and it's not canon
Anthony Cox
You're missing the main one: The attack on Hydra's research base in the beginning of Age of Ultron, which is a direct consequence of AoA when Coulson's team find out about Strucker's plans and his location and report to Maria Hill, which then sends the Avengers to Sokovia
Jonathan Jones
>AoA *AoS
Colton Harris
>the new SHIELD helicarrier was first seen on the show and appeared in Avengers 2
One-Way canon. Not a direct reference. If you haven't seen AoS, you would never know.
>>the Inhuman outbreak was indirectly referenced in Civil War ("over the past year there was suddenly an exponential rise in the amount of people with superhuman powers," not like there's much else that could've been referring to)
He was referring to all the Avengers activity.
>>the FBI agent in Ant-Man 2 was first introduced on the show
No he wasn't.
>>the same Kree and Skrull alphabet that we saw in Captain Marvel first appeared on the show (and I'm like 99% sure it wasn't taken from the comics)
One way canon, not a direct reference
>>the whole idea that Kree blood had regenerative properties and could be used to revive humans through a blood transfusion was a major plot point in the show before it was a major plot point in Captain Marvel
One way canon. Not a direct reference.
>>Captain Marvel referenced the Kree visiting Earth at some point before Yon-Rogg came looking for Mar-Vell, the show established that the Kree had a presence on Earth for thousands of years (ok, I'll admit this one is a bit of a stretch)
Stretch.
>>FUCKING JARVIS IN AVENGERS 4
Agent Carter. Not Agents of Shit.
>references to Agents of SHIELD in the Netflix shows:
The Netflix shows aren't canon either.
Easton Stewart
>imblying that aoa writers give a single fuck about agents of notcanon you mean the show's episode is the direct consequence of the AoU script
>Marvel Cinematic Universe tie-ins >When asked how the season would connect to the then-upcoming MCU film Avengers: Endgame, Marvel Television head Jeph Loeb suggested in March 2019 that the one year time jump between the previous season of the series and this one was part of the series' tie-in to that film.[21] Endgame is a direct sequel to Avengers: Infinity War (2018), which saw the death of half of all life in the universe beginning shortly after the events of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season five. Endgame features a five year time-jump before reversing these deaths, setting the sixth season of S.H.I.E.L.D. during a time that half of all life is still dead. After Endgame was released in April, the showrunners and Loeb revealed that the series would not be depicting this loss of life for several reasons: they began production on the season without knowing all of Endgame's plot or how Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) would be depicting a post-Endgame MCU; they were unsure when the season would be released in relation to Endgame and how much they would be allowed to reveal if they had begun airing before the film was released; and they wanted to focus on telling their own story rather than be "shackled too much to the universe-changing events from the films". They acknowledged that this meant the series no longer lined-up with the films' timeline, but Whedon said the writers had an explanation for this that made sense to them even though they did not plan to "burden the audience" with it. Tim Baysinger of TheWrap suggested that the time travel plot of the fifth season could explain the discrepancy by moving the sixth season into one of the 14 million alternate futures mentioned by Doctor Strange at the end of Infinity War, one in which the deaths never happened.[37]
In fact the only "reference" was an interview where they said they had no idea what that was

Civil War didn’t mention Fish Pills you stupid stubborn shit. Vision was talking about the Avengers
Thomas Campbell
I'm gonna go ahead and believe her over anybody else because she saved all of fucking China.
Connor Fisher
Not a direct reference. If you haven't even heard of Agents of Shit, you would assume the Avengers looked at the leaked files from WS and went avenging. It's heavily implied in the movie that this is what happened.
It's been 11 fucking years now. Why is it so hard for the movies to say "hey we got help from our friends, the Agents of Shield!"? Why? Because it isn't fucking canon.
Luis Sanders
>guys the movies are doing a time skip so we need to do one for the show >OK how long of a time skip >I don't know probably like a few months so let's skip the show ahead a year just to be safe How embarrassing
Should have just made it it's own show and not bothered with canon
Jace Russell
>Why is it so hard for the movies to say "hey we got help from our friends, the Agents of Shield!"?
Because they don't know about Coulson's team, since they still believe SHIELD is dead since WS. They just got the info from Hill
>imblying that aou writers give a single fuck about agents of notcanon
Age of Ultron was written by Joss Whedon, and his brother, Jed Whedon, is the showrunner of Agents of SHIELD, so it's not a stretch to believe they where working close
After Joss left the MCU, howhever, that's when they stopped caring about the series
Christopher Lopez
>Because they don't know about Coulson's team, since they still believe SHIELD is dead since WS. They just got the info from Hill
11 fucking years and nobody out the 100+ characters in the MCU knows about ANYONE from the non-canon universe? Be real with yourself, my dude, the shit isn't canon.
Iron Man can find videos of Spidey swinging around NYC but cant do that for a bitch who makes earthquakes or a blind man dressed in red?
Noah Smith
To be fair until AoU, which is when Feige and Leob had their falling out, they made an earnest attempt to keep it canon. But after that they stopped trying, especially as it got harder and harder to do.
But who cares? Does it have to be canon? It's still much better than any of the CW crap and most of the Netflix shows which also might as well not be canon
