As fucked as the whole story is, Judy is not in the wrong in this situation.

Nick left Judy in the first part of the story after Judy made the choice to abort Nick's unborn child, a extremely tough choice to be made by Judy but at the end of the day it was her choice and Nick also made the point that he would leave if Judy decided to go through with it. Nick left, Judy sadly moved on but found someone else to support her through her time of need.

Was Nick in the right to want to leave Judy after she decided to get an abortion? Yes, yes he was. He had very little to no means in continuing a relationship with someone that didn't want to bare his children.

But for him to waltz in and be back in Judy's life after such a break up after Judy clearly moved on? No, Nick is in the wrong to expect anything from Judy after Nick made the decision to end the relationship first between the two of them, we also have to keep in mind Nick also left at a critical moment when Judy going through a rather morbid decision of whether or not to keep the child.

Judy clearly needed the support Nick was to caught up in his own feelings to understand her's in the moment, maybe if Nick had stayed Judy could have changed her mind, we will never know and at this point would be up to speculation.

But bottom line Judy did nothing, Nick should have stayed if he didn't want things to end up like this.
