>Chris Evans was up to play the Flash in 2007.
Could he have pulled it off?
>Chris Evans was up to play the Flash in 2007.
Could he have pulled it off?
Couldn’t have been worse than what we got.
Too busty
Probably, he was also going to be Wally.
Evans just wants to play characters that travel in time so he can get away with incest.
>Somewhere in the Multiverse...
No, but Ryan Reynolds would
Yep
This. Flash is meant to be at least somewhat lean and Chris is too much of a titcow for that.
>Somebody didn't watch 2010's The Losers
>baggy clothing
Wouldn’t be able to hide it in Flash’s outfit. There’s a reason why him and Atwell were paired together.
>Not wanting to see some jiggly tits from the fastest man alive
Yo I used to watch this film a lot as a teen, why were the critics so mean to it?
Dude the Flash can be Buff with large chesticles
This would have been fucking amazing... he’s got the Barry look and the Wally personality
>a role where he just runs constantly
It would've been kino.
Such a great underrated movie... also side note I love that Idris Elba is in The Losers and is going to be in Suicide Squad
If the same quality as TDK was kept, it could have been magnificent.
Them trying to ape TDK so much is the reason the project stalled, ironically.
Wow. I'm glad Evans stuck to Marvel, both as Johnny and Steve. So many actors' trajectories have been roughed up by DC. Cavill can actually act, I loved him in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Affleck is a gem. How could the movies have sucked?
And while CW made B-list characters popular, their script feels like the actors are reading out loud from a book.
How should they have started DCCU?
Man of Steel - excellent start, with Superman. But, is have kept Cavill as light or lighter than he was in U.N.C.L.E. Armie Hammer was the perfect grumpy foil/Bruce to the light-hearted Clark.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Id have scrapped this to make a Batman AND Superman, like the cartoon. I'd introducd a lot more charming Batman persona, like the cartoon "The Batman". Affleck is great for that, he should have been allowed to be a lot more smarminess. So Bats and Supes would be working on a case across Gotham and Metropolis, together. Play up the usual SuperBat gay but get a very likeable and hot Lois and Selena.
Suicide Squad - It was too soon for them. They should have established a few compelling villains in a few more movies before making an ensemble villain one.
Wonder Woman - I liked this, I'd keep it. But I might have used a different story than Captain America: The First Avenger. Maybe more focus on the Female Led thing the comics went hard on. It's an interesting take, if done without the creepy virtue-signaling misandry we have now. Gal Gadot cuts a very commanding figure and gives gentle but firm FemDom vibes. Steve Trevor looks good on his knees. They should have taken more risks and pushed the Domme a bit more. (This is a weird suggestion but I love that angle in the comics.)
Justice League in 2017 - I won't have done this yet.
Aquaman - I liked it. Would have made the story more about Climate Change and pollution instead of the Brother vs Brother thing. The Black Manta was severely underused in this one. He could have teamed up with the Ocean Master to make the landlubbers pay.
Shazam! - it was good, Zachary Levi was an inspired choice. Mary Marvel should've been kept as the teen actress.
Justice League - only after the solo movies are set up. I'd team up the villains, not 20 of them, just 3 to 4. Like the Young Justice cartoon but on a smaller scale.
Whether it's copying the MCU or not, setting up individual characters first, making them friends and then doing ensemble works for a new verse. Also, BvS would hurt a lot more if there was a B&S first.
Sorry for the typos.
DCEU should have been kickstarted with Green Lantern like the MCU was kickstarted with Iron Man. A good Green Lantern movie was all they needed to get the ball rolling. It would've given them time to start to figure out a plan for the Justice League. Have them roll out a Superman movie and a new Batman movie if needed to keep the momentum going. From there they could've had a Flash movie, a different Wonder Woman movie, hell, if they insist on keeping him in even a Cyborg movie or Cyborg as a major character in the Flash movie or something. Just have it build up before going for the first bigass crossover, be it BvS or Justice League. Once that success has been built up, you can have other, more unique ideas take hold.
Imagine, we could've had a Blackest Night movie competing with Infinity War if they didn't fuck up Green Lantern as badly as they did.
Ahem
Even the Fantastic Four pictures would show him in a shape to play a good Flash and we already know he can naturally look good while being filmd running, can look fast naturally and can run well. Therefore ...
... He likely would have been a great Wally.
Captain needs to eat more than normal, even for performance athletes, for example. No way would he look like he was starving. Plus, just the amount of times he would be throwing his shield, would lead to bigger arm size (and no Cap with actual lack, e.g., negative ass, is acceptable).
Damn it Barr-Rogers!!
I think Grant is a bit more of my favorite than Ezra. But Evans could have pulled off the All-American goodness of Flash.
Or Evans as Guy Gardner. With Chris Pine as Hal Jordan and Luke Evans as Sinestro.
He's too old for peter Parker now but he'd make a great Banner.
Whoa. You're right.
I always laugh at these Cap photoshops using Evans' smug Lucas Lee face.
This looks pretty bad.
Nah, still too thin. And doesn't look professorial enough.
NO
I’m assuming Pine is GL, that would have made the GL Star Trek books so much better
Alright if Chris Evans is The Flash...
Who does RDJ play? (Pic related is my choice)
Also what are some other actors that are officially done in the MCU that could still flip to DC films, and who should they play?
>Who does RDJ play?
Atom, duh.
this but unironically
Dont you dare insult this literal God of a man
Nigga it's not hard not being very buff
While I do think they needed a good green lantern film I disagree with starting with it. The first movie should be set on earth, once that's established then you can have fun in space like with the Guardians movie
Fucking christ I want a Jay Garrick movie, team him up with Alan Scott and a couple other old boys and that shit sould be kino as fuck
ScarJo could hop over. Maybe as one of the bat girls?
Her as Poison Ivy, tho
Dear god their children’s chest could bring down nations
This is a poor edit and it already looks 100X better than Car Crash Debris Flash.
I would never insult John Wesley Shipp, I’m just saying you can have a buff Flash
Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Jason Todd
Terrence Howard as Lucius Fox
Ed Norton as Riddler or Lex Luthor
