>breaks your industry
Breaks your industry
Not unless J. Scott is drawing the whole book.
according to Yea Forums all they give a shit about is big tiddies in their comics so this should be an unprecedented smash.
What if Black Cat was a Tigra recolor with bigger white hair?
So are any of the variant covers better looking?
What's the big deal? Can I get a quick rundown?
is this another stealth mini?
Speculator's go fucking bananas for any cover drawn by J Scott Campbell. So they're doing more of that.
This isn't the 90s anymore.
I think it was announced as 5 issues
Everything I said still applies, but thanks for chiming in!
Why? He's awful.
The Kris Anka variant looks awesome at least.
Something something Danger Girl, something something big tiddies, something something SJWs. I think he's awful too. But free money is free money, so I'll pick up a couple.
because he's fun
The stylish homo who makes up for reduced chests in nifty clothing.
Like 80s Starfire tier? How about we combine them with Felicia capable of transforming into a white/black furred tigress like the 90s cartoon version could turn into BC?
I know Anka has drawn concept art of topless Poison Ivy in the past, but I still would never have expected the same fag who created Carl Manvers to draw this. It's like Bizarro world.
I'm now picturing her hissing and licking a wound on her arm, pupils becoming slits, and a pure black shadow of her slashing an opponent as a werecat-woman. Character assassin, but it looks cool.
Carl Manvers is butch, Poison Ivy and Black Cat are drawn in femme style.
Lol what?
Alternatively, she steals an artifact that gives her peach fuzz and cat eyes.
the fuck does that mean and how would that affect the industry?
This sounds stupid and ill advised.
She has a big tongue..
UUUU
DEFEATS YOUR COCK
Who do you think actually buys comics?
Based.
Unfortunately, in some ways it is.
It's actually disturbing how big a deal the speculator market still is to comic shops. The reason is because they buy multiple copies of the books they buy, so each one is worth like 10 customers or more because of how expensive variants can get.
Honestly, even more shops would be dead if not for them, and part of the reason some have died in the last few years because Marvel made too many #1's, too many books that speculators don't care about like spinoffs, and not enough BIG EBIN EVENTS THAT WILL CHANGE EVERYTHIN issues like the "Hail Hydra" Cap issue or the Secret Empire issue where Cap lifts Mjolnir.
It's almost as if he makes each style to suit the specific character
This is the new Marvel comics
Wait, this is the cover everybody was hyping? I don't really see how this is more special than any other Campbell cover.
I’m a uber Leftie SJW, but I love good cheesecake art in comics.
>he is popular artist
>put him on more covers
What's there to understand?
they were probably talking about the Felicia version of that one MJ cover Campbell did
maybe i'm just too much of a casual to understand how exactly this is a big deal
For whatever reason, J Scott Campbell is in the highest echelon is sought after cover artists. Only artist that commands more money is Gabriele Dell'Otto. Any cover these guys do, especially incentive variants, become major collector's items.
>This isn't the 90s anymore.
And we are all lesser for it.
>maybe i'm just too much of a casual
Finally, some introspection from the normies.
Felicia == best, that's why
There is a variant draw by Artgerm. Aparently is locked behind above the one of JSC.
>over 15 variant covers
didn't know Felicia had this much HYPE
>looks up the black cat #1 variants
fucking hell.
who collects all those variants?
Black Catfags are among the most autistic fandoms in comics.
>t. IRL dicklet
wrong
I don't get it. What happened?
They do the variant thing for literally everyone.
I could see it selling 200k
It's first time ever doing solo, so yes there's kinda hype, but for collectors more than all
why do i get the feeling that when someone makes a thread on a sjw comic they are doing so because the bickering that ensues plays a big part of a marketing campaign to sjw in the sense that when they see the bickering they go on to virtue signaling about the meanie na-cis and in turn makes it reach a bigger sjw audience?
some of the sold prices I’m seeing for these virgin copies are insane.
wonder how much it’ll cost people to get every variant.
Comic collectors are the worst. There's nothing valuable about these covers.
>virgin incentive
heh
>virgin variant
This will never not be funny to me
there is nothing valuable about you either, but no one is stressing you about it.
me
>swj comic
>big tits
user...
Reminder that the Virgin New Adventures ran for fifteen horny years. And people still call them “the virgin books”
I was talking about the variants you retard. Stop jumping at your own shadow.
Based Campbell. I wish I could give him enough money to draw every spidey book.
>have a J Scott variant Gwenpool
>will never resell because I love the bit with Lady Deadpool.
Is she going to peg Peter?
If so I'm legit getting one of those 500$ editions
Depends on what the requirements are. Remember, Marvel makes retailers buy tens if not close to one-hundred copies of Cover A (default) books before they can even buy one (1) copy of a book with Cover Q (J. Scott Campbell Inverted Foil Embossed Sketch Variant).
Looks like I struck a nerve.
>adam Hughes did one
>it's literally just his AH! on a grey background
Jesus fucking Christ.
points taken, i still think that it applies to any comic "drama" thread but still my bad for putting it here, sorry.
That shit means I’m just going to wait for the trade to come out to buy it
>A VNA reference in the middle of the comics thread
I'd say you must be that Gallifrey_Immigrant /who/re, except that I'm Gallifrey_Immigrant
Kris Anka CAN draw attractive, feminine women. Who knew.
>3 completed issues of Loeb/JSC's Spider-Man are completed and will never be seen
life is unfair
They should hire japanese artists for titty monster runs, that would be good shit.
Does she has that outfit in the actual comic? Who's the interiors artist? Who's the writer?
I can't any information on why this is such a big deal, what have I missed?
Your balls
>one comic with multiple covers
>shops have to buy the same shitty comic nobody cares about multiple times over so nerds and autists can have their variant covers
>no money will be spent on actually good comics like Tom King's Batman or Bendis' Superman
>the industry suffers
Titties are bad!
i actually pictured an arc in her series where she gets turned into a were-cat, as a setup for her having mystical adventures in an effort to move her past being just a Spider-Man supporting character.
that and, y'know, the fetishes.
>actually good comics like Tom King's Batman or Bendis' Superman
yeah Felicia is back in her classic costume after she was uninverted when Bendis left
the writer wrote the recent Daughters of the Dragon mini
>Oh hey, Anka actually put effort into drawing a woman
>Tits are still fucked up
Seriously, Anka? It's not hard to draw a damn tit.
So tits are fine and everything but what is this actually going to be about?
Ok, but how’s the content inside?
More like he learned how to draw woman since.
Why is a Black Cat book causing such an uproar, it's just Black Cat.
Felicia getting blacked
Wow who wouldve known that sex sells
artwork looks kinda lame to be honest
He made black cat a b-cup.
I don't know what your conflict is.
There's like four guys who are at my LCS waiting for the doors to open every Wednesday who rush straight to the variants and sit around marking things off their handwritten check lists.
That can't be Anka's work. She doesn't look like an ugly drag queen.
this is some rob liefeld tier skill on display
Could someone explain to me why so much hustle for this comic? It does not seem like the big deal
I understood that reference.
LCSs are buying the book just for the sexy cover and there is fear that that the interiors aren't up to stuff, which will lead to a sort of bait and switch backlash.
Also there hasn't been a been two book sold overtly on sex appeal since the New 52's Catwoman and Red Hood and the Outlaws
what do you think that bulge by her leg is?
U kno
So is Hudlin the writer or Bendis?
>people paying that much for unsigned/not-graded variants
Isn’t this a good sign for the comic industry?
Joelle Jones Catwoman
Who is Black Cat?
if you call that sexy that who have a super conservative attitude dude
I think i have only seen her once show of any skin in the entire run so far and that was a guest written and drawn comic
Oh hell nah. I actually LOVE this cover. Watch it sell for some ridiculously dumb price at retail.
