Arkham's inmmates mutations were really creepy. Maybe Two-Face's mutation was the creepiest. Is he now "Two-Face" or "Two -Heads". By the way, if the mutagen works like the 80's version (giving you the form of the last animal you had contact), why was Harley turned into a dog instead of... Well... A hyena?

It was alright, but not that great. What I do hate is how they treated Batman and the turtles meeting, that the city the turtles live in and Gotham City "is the same thing." Bullshit. I liked that in IDW's comic version they treated the turtles as being from a different world.

That said Damian's voice sounded weird, like he's got a bad cold mixed with puberty all in one. Since Damien is usually a pre-teen having that low pitch doesn't work.

This mutagen doesn't work like that. In fact even IDW comics didn't explain very well how the mutagen works. Meh, just enjoy the ride, the mutagen always changes even in official TMNT media.

Haven't you seen "Turtles Forever"? The part where they visited "Turtle Prime Reality" (the home reality of the original versions of the turtles from the black and white comics) was really violent. Those turtles were almost psychos, like having 4 Raphs. (Just like the 80's turtles were like 4 Mikeys).

Also, 2012's CGI version was also very violent at some points. I mean, they killed Splinter, TWICE.

As a TMNT fan, this crossover film is a breathe of fresh air because I cannot stand the new series.

Got webms for some of the more extreme violent parts? You know, Mike breaking the nose on one of Penguin's goons, Shredder embedding a shuriken in a ninja's forehead, the guard slaughter, etc. I know that kind of stuff is almost expected in these direct to video Batman movies but this is the first TMNT adaptation where the violence isn't toned down drastically.

Well that was letdown.

Just finished it. It was awesome. Pretty bloody too. I was surprised they went beyond the usual 1:15 runtime. The style is kind of reminds me of TAS but the characters are very different. Unlike most of the WB DC shows I was interested from the start to the end. The fight were brutal, the music was great.

I keep thinking but the only negative I can come up with is Batman easily besting the TMNT after he was trashed by Shredder.

The killcount is pretty high. When I mean high I'm not just meaning someone falls from high or gets a hit nobody could tank. I mean visibly killing people (head/arm cut off, shurriken headshot with blood coming out and the body going limp etc).

Couple of "damns" and a "hell". It's a little violent, but only a little blood and no real gore.

Mostly masked ninjas and monsters but there is a relatively long scene where the bad guys kill every single guard in Arkham.

Aw, why didn’t they kill a couple of Batman Villains? But yeah I can dig the villains murderizing a bunch of guards.

Batman & co kills even more people in the final fight than the bad guys before.

Really impressed by it. Great pacing, the characters felt like they held true to their archetypes, good mix of violence and seriousness, and surprisingly, they didn't hold back on some of the violence. Really fun ride throughout.
