52verse

Ewwww

>it's another well-drawn comic series being adapted by stilted Korean animation, weak voice acting with one crap celebrity cameo and a bit of sideboob for the PG13 rating.

Fuck me, I very much don't care. This one have the DC Showcase shorts on it?

>DCAMU
Why they insist in keeping this shitty animated universe alive? They think people will start giving it any attention if they butcher the classic comic story-lines for the setting?

I bet Damian Wayne will be all over the place and actually be the one to almost kill Hush.

Please DC just stop

>Hush
Ummmmm no thanks, shit character

The New 52 killed the comics line and the animation department.

Ummmmm sweetie

Why would Batman hit Joker!
He loves him!
Love!

Why are they adaptating the worst batman story of all time ?

Because they're running out of Batman stories

It's for the worst animated universe of all times, so it's right at home.

>Hush. Barman. Hush.
What's with the faggy dialog? Fuck this garbage.

>worst batman story of all time
That's not [insert any Tom King Batman story here]

You didn't see the trailer because that's there too

Stop doing what, triggering you?

Doing awful animated movies, i guess.

And awful live action ones, and awful comics, and awful video games, and awful cartoons, and awful TV shows

Sounds like you just don't like DC user.

>And awful live action ones
go and watch Doom patrol you stupid casual
>and awful video games
fuck you
> and awful cartoons
i like super hero girls

>why you always lying.flac

>Set in the Nu52 verse
Damn it.

>Obviously diverges from the comic story
Bigger Damn It!

>Possibly a totally new ending where they just adapt the themes and completely ignore the original story ala Reign of the Supermen.

FUCK

Please let The Long Halloween be its own stand alone thing.

Does anyone? Shazam bombed for a reason

You know it won't

I might have wanted to see Hush in animated form, BUT NOT LIKE THIS. Not as a vehicle to sustain this shitty animate universe that i can't wait see done away.

You're forget pic related taking the plot hostage and being generally obnoxious.

This really needed a bigger budget and a artistic direction that could better mirror the Jim Lee art.

Hot damn some of that animation looks janky.

Warner really is desperate to have the current Nu52 based movies be their new DCAU 2.0 aren't they?

I'm not memeing when I say this animation style is the definition of soulless

Spoil me the plot

They would have a bigger budget if people actually bought these

Yes, they want that success and fan loyalty again. Hence why they just did Fatal Five and have been teasing a JL/JLU revival so hard.

The problem is that most of the staff that made the DCAU great have either died, retired, or moved to other studios. The people they have in the writing/adaption chairs aren't nearly as capable storytellers.

>Shitty animated movie series adapting a shitty comic story featuring a shitty villain

They were desperate for it when they launched, but the DVD sales were abysmal because no one liked the New 52 comics they chose to adapt, or the way they butchered those stories making 10 worse than they already were, or the off-putting characterizations and weak voice-working.
Now they're just desperate to maintain this failure of animated universe going by any means necessary, which they're doing by adapting classic story-lines like Judas Contract, Death of Superman, Reign of the Supermen, and Hush. They think by baking on nostalgia they will bait people to see their terrible work. But every fucking movie have references to the past New 52 inspired animated universes and stupid changes because the producers and writers are that dumb.

I can't even remember who Hush is.

user, they're adapting Hush, not The Widening Gyre

>Yes, they want that success and fan loyalty again.
A good start would be ditching the awful New 52-inspired animated universe.

A new bad guy starts attacking Batman while at the same time a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne's that had never existed before this story returns to Gotham. I WONDER WHO THE BAD GUY IS. Also Batman fights like every one of his villains (and Superman) because the plot is extremely paper-thin. And he fucks Catwoman I guess.

>The problem is that most of the staff that made the DCAU great have either died, retired, or moved to other studios. The people they have in the writing/adaption chairs aren't nearly as capable storytellers.

This is the prime reason. Most of the capable people got sucked into other TV/Film studios and the old guard retired. In order to keep costs low, Warner hasn't replenished or held the same standards for its current talent pool.

WHEN WILL THE GARABAGE ANIMATION END HOW DO THEY OK THIS SHIT???????

Luckily Hush isn't any kind of classic so there's nothing to butcher.

Why
Why use this art style
What shitty focus group keeps telling them "yes, we want that Filmation look"?

The same people that want to keep the New 52 animated universe alive. That's the style of its movies.

>but the DVD sales were abysmal
Why are you lying?

They were. Want me to post the numbers?

You’re retarded. There’s nothing inherently wrong with the universe they’re using. The DCAU was pretty shit looking back as well.

>Peyton List voices Poison Ivy, while Peyton List voices Batgirl

Heh

Do it faggot. Flashpoint Paradox and JL War were well within norms for these movies. Need I remind you this is how well the last Superman movie preformed: $3,100,274 for Superman vs. the Elite. Death of Superman made over $5 million

>There’s nothing inherently wrong with the universe they’re using.
Terrible costume, terrible characterizations, terrible voice actors, uninspired voice acting, terrible choice of comic story-lines to adapt, terrible adaption that made the comic-story worse, terrible animation. I could go on. DCAMU wishes it was as bad as the old DCAU.

kill yourself ladder bro

Death of Superman was hyped because it is based on the most popular Superman comic story-line. They still ended up butchering the plot.

This.

>Hush, Batman: Hush
Literally walked out of the trailer
