that wasn't Steven, it only happened because his gem was removed. But that does show the possible potential of Pink Diamond. We already knew her defense was OP remembering how she blocked the corruption blast, Steven's isn't as reliable or developed in comparison looking at e.g. Bismuth breaking through it. I don't think Pink has any way to poof a Diamond though unlike her sisters.
That's Steven's gem half, so it is technically him. If he was a sociopath he could easily be that strong. Pink is a very defense-orientated Diamond though, she had to have weapons made for her by Bismuth.

Maybe you're right.The episode gave the impression she was around Garnet's level and very combat-centric with their talks about taking battalions together. And their brief sparring Bismuth got the upper hand while joking they lost their touch since the war.
She was talking throughout her fight with Steven—she definitely was trying to kill him but instead of just like squishing his head in with her mallet fist she would pick him up by the collar and scream at him, and would constantly stop pressing the assault to make a comment.
But I wouldn't be opposed to putting her below Jasper.
