As much as I loved watching Carol NOPE Thanos' headbutt, I've got to wonder... In that brief bit before the fight ends, Tony, Cap, and Thor all tried to get the Gauntlet away from Thanos. But they were missing the fourth of the original Big 4. Why didn't Hulk jump in and try and wrestle the Gauntlet away? They could've had him try after the other three and before Carol joined in.

Hulk was weak from snapping his fingers
>Why didn't Hulk...
This is why he's being retired from the movies.
>This is why he's being retired from the movies.
Because people want him to do things?
Because Hulk is basically the most underused character in the entire MCU. Basically also the biggest waste
>set up the Leader in solo movie
>set up psychological component as essential to the character
>give up on every Hulk villain afterwards
>literally zero character building on-screen
>actor literally acts like a retard and worse than all other main Avengers
No matter how annoying Norton was, they should have kept that fucker. At least he cares about providing the audiences with a proper character. Him cutting ties with Marvel or Disney was the first precursor to all the shit that came afterwards in the franchise
>No matter how annoying Norton was, they should have kept that fucker.
Even though I've come to like Ruffalo's Bruce, I think I'll always prefer Norton's angry and paranoid take on the character as opposed to Ruffalo's "lol my life sucks but whatcha gonna do?" *audience laughter*
Norton was absolutely not manageable by Disney standards. Even RDJ (Disney gave him enormous freedom over dialogues and Tony's interpretation) knew he had to respect certain requests from Disney.
Norton was not open to these things. He was extremely intransigent and quarreled with the director because he wanted things done at his way.
But Thor is stronger than Hulk
so is carol now to
He was recovering from snapping everyone back into existence.
Not saying Hulk should've won the day. He still would've been tossed aside by Thanos before Carol jumped in - maybe with Thanos even targeting his injured arm.
You're fucking kidding yourself if you think Thor isn't in that role.
He was still there in the fight regardless. And it doesn't matter if he was recovering or not - Tony, Cap, and Thor didn't look like they were in the best condition either (with Tony and Cap being obviously many times weaker than Hulk in general) and they still tried to get the Gauntlet away from Thanos.
Only children care about the Hulk
dumb move for the writers
Hulk has the most powerful healing factor
lmao
FUCK THE NORMIES
What a fuck are you doing here?
Blame Universal.
Healing factor is a dumb, story-breaking power and AFAIK has not been introduced in the MCU.
>dumb, story-breaking power
not at all if it's handled right. Hulk has an easy way of balancing it with his alter ego Bruce, because Banner doesn't have the healing factor. It lets Hulk be as imposing and dangerous as he needs to be, but Banner is still vulnerable.
At least that's how it SHOULD go.
Toxic masculinity
>Why didn't the hulk do anything in both movies?
Silly user, the hulk can't do everything!
"I put a bullet in my mouth, and the other guy spit it out."
>Hulk's greateast feat, soloing a leviathan, could be done by fucking Giant-Man.
Don't forget though, that Hulk did the reverse-Snap. The radiation killed Tony later in the movie and heavily crippled Thanos earlier. Hulk was still able to fight, but he had the disadvantage of one crippled arm.
My time to shine
>Carol is the strongest there is
It's a good thing the crippling exhaustion from growing that size didn't kick in during the fight.
He was missing the use of one of his arms from the damage that the snap did to his body
He was still THERE though, and injured or not, he still has a better chance of getting the Gauntlet away from Thanos than like 90% of the people there, especially if he attacked in tandem with Thor and/or Carol.
...Honestly, Thor, Carol, Hulk, Wanda, and Strange should've been the "focus on Thanos" team until the very end where Tony gets the Stones and snaps.
Nah carol getting punched off screen was the best thing that could have happened involving her character.
Oh, all five of them would've still gotten their asses kicked. Otherwise there'd be no reason for Tony to snap.
Yea but Thor has his moment, same with Wanda, cap got the best, and marvel got punched off screen. Only one missing was hulk, which was meh.
I don't really get that, if he had to be the one to do it due to excessive gamma radiation emitting from the gauntlet wouldn't he just get stronger since he absorbs gamma radiation?
I like how when Thor volunteered everyone just laughed at him. It's like the Russos forgot he'd just survived the power of a star at point-blank range in the very last movie which they directed.
Because Hulk is toxic masculinity so he's relegated to funny jokes now
I don't think it's just about raw power, to use the Gauntlet you have to have a serene mind and a very strong will. Thor might not have died using it but probably couldn't undo the snap properly.
I mean, it's possible, but they don't really say that. Hulk made it seem more like it was about power and Tony probably wasn't in the best frame of mind when he snapped and it still worked.
