I think with the purchase of a comic, one should have access to a sort of making-of/process folder, which includes the inked pre-colored artwork.

If they’re not in color they look like Manga, which is garbage.

Because I'm not a dog and I like seeing color.

They wouldn’t have an excuse for the shit art if they didn’t color it.

You know that there’s a fuck ton of old western comics that are in black and white right? Or are you one of those plebs that only reads capeshit?

I read Preacher :(

Colors are pretty

For starters, your opening image isn't black and white, it's tinted. The simple fact of the matter is that colors are an artistic element that can aid or detract from scene based on layout and skill. works really well in black in white, but does not as there is so much white that Jack O'Lantern's details become hard to make out.

The color makes up for the lack of content and plot points

It just depends. People don't realize that coloring is it's own specialty in movies, because it completely makes or breaks a scene just as much as lighting, sound, or acting does. So if you have a solid colorist, then it'll enhance the scene. If not, which happens way to often, it'll look like dick

Because not everything has the same style you dimwit. This isn't anime, different styles work in different stories and there's no reason for them to share any traits unless they work well.

As much as I enjoy the existence of color it's amazing how much better motion and space are conveyed in black and white drawings.
