Oh, too bad we spent our precious final moments remaking shows intro and jack vs aku fight scene and naming all of the Scotsman's daughters, that appeared like for 5 minuts instead of developing our solution

How ironic, Aku destroyed every time portal except for himself

Don't blame Gendy, don't blame Gendy, don't blame Gendy, GENDY YOU AUTISTIC RUSSIAN TALENTLESS HACK

And also jew

I don’t know which is worse, that Ashi was gainax’d or that I got so invested in a throwaway character in the first place

>introduce the Daughters of Aku
>promote them in all of the seasonal advertisements
>they all die by Episode 3 except one
>she dies in the last episode just because
>Aku does nothing almost the whole show
>the Scotsman is almost entirely irrelevant

The latter, she was hardly developed and a fairly straightforward "villain turned love interest" character. There wasn't much actually worth getting invested in from the start.

Hard to do a lot with aku what whith the dead VA

I guess, but still.

But she had all the makings of a compelling character. I like how her upbringing was juxtaposed against Jack’s, and the few interactions she had with him were great. They just rushed through all the actual development so it felt like nothing happened. I will forever defend season 5’s failings as being due to time constraints.

>Jack goes back to the past
>loses the love of his life on their wedding day
>doesn't even have his friends from the future anymore

>Cap goes back to the past
>spends 60 years fucking the love of his life retarded and slurping her milkers
>returns to the present to be with his future bros

THE VIRGIN SAMURAI

THE CHAD CAPTAIN

Fair enough. There was definitely a foundation but they never really went anywhere interesting with it. Agreed that it needed a few more episodes to develop everything

How the hell did they manage such a powerful few episodes until the one after the snow one where he fuckin murdered them all/pinned them to trees/punched them hard enough to break their necks?

I miss the regular SJ threads

Imagine having ads in your browser.

I miss when we only talked about the first three episodes. It went to shit after episode 4.

Just like season 5.

Though personally, episode 7 was the first that really stuck out to me as rushed and sloppy. 5 was only shitty in how it felt forced that Jack thought all the children had died when he could’ve waited two more minutes to see they were fine.

How about realizing that Jack killed more people than Aku?

You can’t kill what never existed. If anything, he prevented every death Aku ever caused following his leap forward in time.

Although, if someone’s birth was solely dependent on Aku’s existence, then perhaps you could pin their demise on Jack. If that’s the case, then Jack killed his own waifu.

I didn't like it, but I found it appropriate as Aku kept bullshitting his way out of getting killed by Jack whenever he was losing (turning into a mouse, flying away, etc.). So getting beaten in a fashion where he couldn't retreat to fight another day was beautiful. Bastard had to just stand there as Jack went back to the past to finish the job.

So like is it a cyclical timeline or a split timeline? I mean if it's cyclical how could Jack ever defeat Aku? If it were a split timeline than how could Ashi disappear?

I mean it's not like this doesn't make any sense right?

Why didn't they just use the time portal from that one season 3 episode where jack is defeated by the blue guy and the ending says that Jack is destined to use the portal but he can't use it yet, and there is a picture of Jack as a grizzled king.

I’m led to believe it was neither. When Jack was thrown into the future, the timeline was alerted to a future where Aku was never defeated and we got the events of the series, and Jack, being displaced from his proper place in time, stopped aging as a result. When he went back again, the timeline reset to how it would’ve been had Jack been present all along. Of course, this also meant no Aku, and so nobody whose existence depended on Aku’s interference would come to be. The only one who was guaranteed to disappear was Ashi, since she was blood related to him. It’s reasonable to assume that others Jack met in the future would come to be born, just under different circumstances.

As for how long it took Ashi to disappear, I would just chalk that up to a gradual erasure of the potential future timeline that was erased when Jack returned to the past and destroyed Aku.

There are some great imitations online, they should have done open casting

Baldwin was okay, but he couldn’t achieve the perfectly maniacal laugh that Mako had.

I don’t mind it too much though, since Baldwin’s a cool guy and he seemed to have fun with the role. It’s not his fault Mako left behind shoes that were simply too big to fill.

Fuck that

Where’s the femdom art of Ashi’s mom

Baldwin was great for the situations he was in.

The way he said melaise or whatever the fuck the word was is God Tier

If they were given 3 more episodes do you think it wouldn’t have been as rushed towards the end?

That’s honestly my only real issue about the finale, it shouldn’t have been 1 episode

The season in general needed more episodes.

Favorite pre-season 5 episode?

How does she pee?

The sandals episode.

Can't pick one.
>Birth of Evil
>Jack and the Three Blind Archers

Giving Gendy full control was a mistake. He had only perfected the first part and then was going over the next part with only a vague idea.

>promo where Jack is walking in the desert where he first met the Guardian with no Ashi in sight
I remember Yea Forums was super hyped during that time
