I fucking hate birds
General
try not to bump this just for bumping's sake, if it dies, just let it die naturally and then you can make a new one afterwards. This is not a general thread.
But bird episode has a nice song.

>really going ahead with tangled general thread shit
user are you trying to kill this show? Do you want us to get banned?
How to get Cass gf?
There are 9 fucking Star vs threads
There is only one regular Tangled thread until it reaches bump limit so I think it's not a issue.
And yes Star vs threads are annoyingly everywhere.
That's a called a general. I'm not bumping this thread anymore. See you guys next Sunday.
Her smile, hopes and dreams... gone.
Ok I tried to warn you. No new content means threads that degrade more and more in quality as they linger, until they become cancerous. Soon we'll have entire tangled threads 100% dedicated to edgy rape greentext and memes.
Ok but there still are some discussions from the old thread to be continued like this one. Also Chris has posted his live stream for Q&A from fans in instagram. I think it could be considered as new material about the show.

cass is a cuck lol
Any link of full digital version of the Lost Lagoon novel coz I'm kinda interested to read it
Hey, I know some of you guys are getting cranky at the thought of these threads continuing for a while, but I'm actually not done with the show yet. I have two more episodes to go before I'm done with Season Two, and I'd love to discuss things more fully once I'm finished. Also, I have an itch to generate some original content when I'm finally caught up, so I hope these threads stick around for a little bit.
m8, if you finish the show and have some legit topics you want to discuss, even if there's no active thread make yourself a new one and I'm sure some anons would be happy to discuss them with you.
you in for some shit then m80
enjoy
A thread every one in awhile is cool, but not a new one started every fucking time the previous one is still warm in its auto-sage grave.
Why the crew always make Cass suffer both physically and mentally. She broke her leg in S1 and she got her hand burned in S2 so which part of her will suffer in S3?
And a late happy mother's day. Arianna is the best princess' mom.
You can read it for free on Overdrive. All you need is a library card.
Take heart, Tangledfags. Though you are obscure and small in number, take heart that your show could never EVER go as full retard as the biggest show ever so thoroughly has
GoT if you didn't get what I was referring to
I mean, it helps our expectations are much, much lower and it's not like we had almost 10 years of bulidu-
>Tangled came out in 2010
Jesus fuck, we actually have it better than GoTfags lmao
That sucks though, now I don't wanna start it anymore now that I know all the time people put in watching was basically worth nothing. Guess I'll watch Breaking Bad or The Wire instead.
Is this for burger people only?
GoT S8 is probably the biggest letdown of TV show history of this decade.
Cass is so hot. I want to fuck her until she dies.
That was a fun episode in general. Anyway, Cass is either dying or leaving for good. Being bound by canon is a bit of a bitch.
She has suffered a lot in the show. And she probably discovered her real parents are separatists of Saporia who were executed by Corona in the door of shell house so she felt her life is ruined in addition to her withered hand by Rapunzel.
I can't decide whose suffering is more appealing.
Both of their anguish magnifying each other's pain until we've reached suffering singularity.
I really don't get this angle. She's never shown any particular sympathies with people wronged by Corona like Caine (the most "legitimate" aggressor) much less outright extremists like seps. She loves her father and thinks he raised her right. She is a little sensitive about never knowing her birth parents but to my knowledge didn't really angst over it like Eugene because she HAD a family growing up unlike him. She cared for her kingdom and wanted to serve it, even if not completely absent some selfish desire for glory
Learning that her parents were separatists would be another layer to her pain lasagna but it'd be really dumb if she suddenly went to their cause over it. Same thing with the Gothel daughter theory; why should she feel any loyalty to an evil crone that she never knew
>library card
How to read it if not living in US
make buy
I'm loving Kawacy's interpretation of Cass' new outfit
But separatist of Saporia backstory is still more convincing and logical than daughter of Gothel theory. What if Cap is the person responsible for Cass losing her parents and he adopted her due to the guilty feeling to her family? Although she was raised by Cap for years, it is still not easy for her to figure out the truth especially all she dreamed for are like the blasting bubbles.
In Rapunzeltopia episode, Raps was almost beaten by Matthews’ manipulation in her dream until the subconscious of another her (probably the sun drop) woke her up. Cass is not mentally strong as Raps so Matthews’ mind control magic may invade into her weakness more seriously and it eventually made her believe in fulfilling her destiny in that way.
So what is this show about beyond the obvious?
His fan art is awesome besides QuR. I hope he can draw more for the show.
Destiny, choice, friendship, and a lot of rocks
Rapunzel makes tough decisions and face the consequences.
You forgot betrayal.
Hiro x Varian when?
Best crossover ship. He's the only one who understand Varian enough to mend his broken heart.
Hiro x Peni Parker is a superior ship.
But Hiro and ITSV Peni don't share a tragic backstory and revenge plot to bond over user.
Peni's got the father dying part of the backstory. Revenge I'll give to you.
her heart
WHERE IS VARIAN?!
varn is ded
BEHIND YOU
Man I really enjoy this artist's version of Varian, especially his older villain version. I think it's the lidded eyes and shit eating grin.
>it's a Hookfoot episode
wonder if brothers hook is the last we'll see of hookfoot, hookhand was at the wedding but they can easily throw a line at the end of series saying hookfoot has gone on an international tour or something like that.
>raps will never give your nose a handjob
Suffering.
Not to mention that I guarantee every single one of their friends would show up for their wedding. I mean it IS something that (ideally) only happens once in a lifetime, and it involves two of their favorite people.
If you didn't want discussion of rape you shouldn't have named your main character Rapeunzel
You act like they were anything good to begin with. From the beginning they've been meme, shitposting and fanfiction. There never was an ideal to maintain
So I spend the last couple of days marathoning my way through the series right to the season 2 finale and wow this has been a great show.
glad you enjoyed it, m8. you could try reading some of the comics or books as we wait for S3.
Fuck I'd never considered this before. Now it's killing me because constructing a setting for them to be together is impeded by my autistic loathing for AUs
Bookanon here. Gonna try to cram Vanishing Village with muh spawn tonight. She's using it for a summer reading project abd I want her to get done before school's out so she doesn't have a deadline ruining her vacation
>shadman
God I legitimately felt bad for him. Like he has such a triumphant song about wanting to make his dad proud and then everything just goes wrong and we get one of the best villain songs I've heard in years. If anything my problem with Varian was that he kinda vanishes until the very end of season 1 where he becomes the villain. Still a very enjoyable character who I hope returns for season 3.
Does the youngun like the show? Does she enjoy Cass' suffering like us
She adores it and Cass is her favoritw character. She says that a hero isn't a hero unless they have bad things happen to them. So, I guess so?
She also isn't sure if Cass is in love with Rapunzel or not. She's 9, so it's easier to understand friendship than romance
>She says that a hero isn't a hero unless they have bad things happen to them
>Tfw a 9 years old has a better understanding of Writing 101 than some of the anons on this board.
>not even the children are impervious to Chris's Schadenfreude Adventure
lmao
Yeah. She’ll be fine.
Made it halfway through S1 on my rewatch
Cass in winter clothes is a cute
His turn is weird. He goes from caring about humane animal control, to wanting to destroy Corona anyway even if Rapunzel helps save his dad. Does Zhan Tiri make people severely autistic?
"Hitler was a vegatarian"
Eh, I think his distaste of Rapunzel is understandable if you look at the whole picture
>Lone 14 years old genius, Dad as only family and a pet raccoon
>Create inventions to help the village, but your fuckups make everyone dislike you, on top of not relating to you
>Princess befriends you, promise to be here for you if you need help
>Experimenting with black rocks because they are destroying your village and your dad pussied out when talked to king
>Accidentaly put your only family in amber, go through a blizzard in a panic to look for help
>Princess goes back on her promise, guards kick you out in the blizzard, she does nothing to stop them, not even your waifu act to help
>Said princess also forgot to check on after the blizzard because she had an art block
>Also forgot to dissipate the rumors about you assaulting her, so the whole village hates you even more and refuse to help you
>Left all alone with your amber'd dad without anyone checking on you
>Has to be the one to initiate contact, Princess act surprised and ask where the fuck were you, despite you becoming a social pariah being her own fault
>Has the guts to ask you to trust her and makes a promise
Yeah, I kinda understand why he went insane and is bitter as fuck towards her and Corona as a whole, even if attempted murder isn't really justified.
It's not super frequent, but the fact that this show does give us costume changes really boosts it for me
If that was the case, I regret to inform you Zhan Tiri not only won, but spread his influence throughout Corona and its surrounding area.
Proof that Cass was made for suffering. It's hard coded in us to appreciate her tears.
How can Cass even compete.
Literally impossible. From the exact nanosecond Eugene unleashed the smolder from inside the tower when he rescued Rapunzel, he staked a claim on her pusy for all of known time.
She could tie up and drug Eugene, position him with his dick sticking out through a hole in a wall or a bag or something, and then straddle it in a way to make it look like it's her own, after which she gets Raps to work her magic on it.
She would STILL get cucked user, only this time she has the frontest row possible to the show.
Generals were a mistake.
Cass probably hears Rapunzel and Eugene do ... things.
On what planet does this constitute an improvement for her
This is preferable to rape fanfiction
>it's a Eugene episode
Only 3 comics right?
No it's not.
>both Rapunzel and Eugene have had to forcibly prevent Cass from committing murder
>no one's there to stop her in S3
lol
Anyone played the nendoroid? Raps looks so good in Belle's dress.
Shieeet I didn't even know those existed for her. She looks cute. Won't get it because I'm not full tismo but that's cool for anyone who wants that.
I'm still sadden Rap x Cassie isn't canon - they'd be an amazing couple.
THERE'S A RAPS NENDOROID!?
Didn't even know this show was a thing. How is it?
Oddly good, like every instinct you have tells you this should suck, but then its actually great.
That is pretty fucking cute. If they make a Cass or Moon Cass one I'll buy it for sure.
It's kino, you should watch it.
>he'd rather pair up ultra purest cinnamon roll with a seething autist femcel instead of the elder god tier zettachad who adores her unconditionally and saved her from further decades of potential abuse
yikes and cringepilled
Fuckin great, watch it.
Nice. I've been seeing videos about it on YouTube, but I thought it was just edgy fan art.
appealing enough to spawn a general that lasts several weeks after the last episode aired
>who adores her unconditionally and saved her from further decades of potential abuse
To be fair, Cass might've done that for Raps too, but if they were an actual couple she would always be torn between sincerely loving Raps or moping/brooding because she will never feel worthy enough.
I wonder if Raps is ultimately going to defeat Zahn Tiri with a classic "You want my power? Take it!" moment. It would be a nice way to kill the Big Bad and get rid of her long hair in the same badass moment.
I do not know if Rapunzel wants to be with an emotionally unstable lesbian.
It was released more than a year ago.
I mean some of it probably is edgy fanart, but you should watch it before you really get spoiled on something
mega link is already in thread
True. Cassandra has a lot of violent impulses, but would she ever physically attack Raps?
Don't let the autism deter you, it really is a great show. If you like Tangled or Disney films in general you'll probably like this show a fair deal. It's a better sequel to the movie than any film (direct to video or otherwise) could ever be, and it uses the tv format to its strengths really well. It builds off the film in directions you wouldn't expect but in ways that never feel out of place. Oh, and the crew actually gives a shit too so that helps. Give it a go user.
lul
when will Cassandra Rodgers ever learn?
who started the Rapunzel-is-hippie meme
So I had a gap there, what was the deal again with Eugene proposing to Raps? She said no?
>would she ever physically attack Raps?
>after S2's ending
What the hell do you think happens in S3?
It's ancient
Older than the show I think
>she said no
Yeah, her anxiety over buckling down for "ever after" so soon after getting out of the Tower really hits her
Oh no, she's animated on ones!
Not because she doesn't love him. She's crazy for him. She just wants to see the world and experience new things before she's stuck in another tower. She wants to share more adventures and excitement with Eugene.
So this shit is good? Like "old school Disney movie series" good?
Rapunzel said no once in "Before Ever After". In the S2 premiere, Rapunzel decided to not say anything to Eugene's second proposal (accidentally). At the end of episode, she tried to propose to Eugene but Eugene stopped her.
Considering Eugene said he had years and years asking to let Rapunzel say yes in the movie, I guess there would be the third failed proposal in S3.
Yeah. It's pretty much a spiritual successor to those shows actually, albeit with much more of an overarching narrative compared to those. Watch it nigga.
I'd say it's quite good. Certainly my favorite cartoon presently airing
There's a double length movie pilot for the series, give that a shot and it offers a pretty good representation of the feel of the show and characters
>old school Disney movie series
The old school movie series are kinds of fun and I also like Aladdin and Timon & Pumbaa, but none of them did the development of the lore as deep as Tangled.
This is why we keep the threads going. To induct more people into our group until he picks a side
Which side?
Also, I assume the show is a splice of adventure and Slice of Life, correct?
Sun or Moon
>Also, I assume the show is a splice of adventure and Slice of Life, correct?
Yeah. The word "filler" gets thrown at a lot of episodes, particularly in the first half of season 2, but it's an honestly decent mix of plot moving and chill episodes
Yeah, but the SoL is usually pretty enjoyable and contributes to character development pretty well. Also, characters or plot points that show up in SoL episodes are either pretty important to the plot later on or have really good payoff in later episodes. It's not all SoL though, each season so far has kinda gone like this
>premiere plot episode
>1st half of season is mostly SoL interspersed with some plot points and characters set up for later episodes
>midseason plot episode
>2nd half of season is mostly plot or plot under light SoL pretense
>finale plot episode
It's pretty great formula for the most part, it helps you get attached to the characters for when shit goes down in the latter halves.
"Slice of life" sounds too calm to describe what amounts to the filler episodes in this show, because something is always happening. Season 1 is evenly split between downtime and plot action, while Season 2 is about 70% plot action.
I dont get this meme.
But I haven't even finished season 1
Finish the fucking show and stop spoiling yourself
But if you must know, S2 is a road trip.
>tfw just finished "Destines Collide"
Holy SHIT. I'm all caught up and what a fucking ride. I was already spoiled for all the major plot twists and it was still breathtaking to watch. WHAT A FUCKING RIDE.
This show elevates Tangled to one of the greatest Disney properties ever. The entire Tangled story is every bit as good as anything in the Golden Age or the Disney Renaissance. I am beyond hyped. That was AWESOME.
I know there's memesmiths sometimes in these accursed threads
If you're out there, we need a tangled version of that pic
Nice, my nigga
Welcome to hiatus hell
>Rapunzel's nightmare is thinking that Cass still hates her for what happened to her hand
What do you think season 3 will be like
Wizard Shorty
Knight Cass
Archer Lance
Barbarian Hookhand
Druid Rapunzel
Theif Eugene
Well I'm a writer and I've made OC for other fandoms on Yea Forums in the past. I'll see if I can do anything on my part to fill the void. I actually have an idea for a story. I had it in my head through the latter half of Season 2, and I may need to tweak the ending a little after watching Destinies Collide. But I think I can still make it work, and hopefully you'll all like it when I'm done.
Watching a crazed cosmic powered lesbian get her revenge, but she doesn't think it through and soon gets her shit kicked in, while simultaneously having her heart ripped out and crushed under bare nudist feet at an agonizingly slow pace. And everyone claps.
This reminds me: we keep bouncing back and forth between whether Rapunzel's the Sundrop or if she's now the Moonstone, but isn't the entire point of "Lost and Found" that she can wield the power of both? That's what Demanitus was getting at, that she's the Sundrop but that both the Sundrop and the Moonstone will be at her command when she touches the Moonstone.
Pastebin or some fanfic site please
I can’t take the text dumps here
Oh yeah I'll definitely Pastebin it, I'm not some faggot.
I feel that maybe she got a taste of Moon magic from touching the rocks that she can wield due to the sundrop already being there, but can’t have UNLIMITED POWEEEEEER until she fully claims the moonstone
I have a gut feeling this show will be the SOUL to Frozen 2's SOULLESS in terms of modern-day Disney princess sequels. I really hope I'm wrong but considering that it basically felt like that anyway between the original films and how just one film is nowhere near as effective at conveying built up development, story, and lore, my expectations are pretty damn low.
The Sundrop and Moonstone are meant to work together to unleash their true power, which is why Rapunzel set out to find the stone and reverse the damage it's caused in the first place
Which means Rapunzel and Cassandra are now both powerful in their own right, but together they'd be unstoppable
Oh, man, I'm excited at the thought of Doctor Manhattan Raps. The Sundrop gives life and the Moonstone brings death. If she wields both powers she'll essentially be omnipotent--she'd be the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. She could do anything, she could destroy the entire world or remake it however she wished.
And, of course, we know she eventually gets her brown hair back, so that means that if she ever does achieve all this power she ultimately gives it up. This is why, despite some really clear flaws, Raps is great. The idea that she could possess ABSOLUTE power and then throw it away when she was done with it is a mark of true greatness of soul. It's a mark of her benevolence, her grandeur of spirit.
Zhan Tiri is just space Te Fiti. Uniting the two powers will neutralize the evil and restore him as the cosmic entity that the scroll references. Screencap this.
I don't mind the hiatus once if the mouse agrees to put S3 premiere onto Disney+ and give it more proper promotion unlike Disney Channel's shitty treatment during S2.
>Eugene's emotional support lets Raps summon the sun nuke
>Cass suggests they h-hold hands to use their powers to defeat the villain
>She could do anything, she could destroy the entire world or remake it however she wished.
It's another prison. She'd be too worried about making things just right and then fucking it up anyway if Painter's Block and Rapunzeltopia are any indication. Raps hates prisons.
Actually S3 mid-season is named "Cassandra's Revenge".
>tfw Cassandra lays waste to all of Corona with the killing power of the Moonstone
Wunderbar, user.
>not Cassandra's Retribution
Geez, they could have at least gone for accuracy.
I think Eugene's support is necessary to let Raps to cast the hair shield because Eugene obtained part of the sun drop power from Raps' healing tear when he was stabbed by Gothel and he cut Raps hair. So only when Raps holding Eugene's hand, the sun drop would connect the full power and activate the protective shield with nuke power.
Some faggot here. I dumped my long ass fanfiction and it became copypasta. Learn from my foolishness
Rapunzel won't beat Cassandra by beating her. She'll do it by realizing she's been the indirect cause pushing the people close to her into these awful circumstances and overcoming her own flaws to give Cassandra what she wants, redeeming her by avoiding conflict altogether and accepting her.
I won't stand for Frozen 2 slander here.
Rapunzel the Goddess of Life and Death
Sol Invictus
From the leaked script, the title is official.
cass isn't a lesbian
You know I'm right
I'm not saying I want it to be bad but I won't be surprised whatsoever if it is
someone fix this to say Cassandra already
You're funny
I have a strong feeling that the plot of Frozen II tries to copy the idea of Tangled season 2.
>Moonstone counter magic exists
Fire counter magic appear in trailer
>Adventure outside Corona
Adventure outside Arendelle
>Sword lady Cassandra
Sword lady Anna
>Rapunzel finds her destiny
"Destiny awaits" slogan found in promotion material
>Find the origins of Rapunzel's magic
Find the origins of Elsa's magic
Imagine it though
The entire Tangled the Series fandom (all fitty of us) dying of pure autism if the Frozen 2 movie referenced or connected with the lore of Tangled
The thing is, what can they do in one movie except reference Tangled stuff? The Tangled lore is complex and immense and has really, really benefited from having an entire television show in which to deploy it. It's not the MOST complex lore there's ever been, but for what's essentially a kids' property it's really genuinely dense. Nothing of what's happened in this show could have been adequately conveyed in a movie, even a three hour long movie. It needs the extra space and slow burn of television. If Frozen 2 tries to do what the Tangled show does, but in a movie, it's going to fail.
>tfw Frozen 2 will get endlessly praised for all the shit this show does
>except it'll all be worse
I'm fucking calling it
oh man, why does my pp get hard watching this show
the style is great and the characters are hot
Cass is surprisingly cute when smiling
I guess quads confirm
Raps is still cuter
Rapunzel is a perfectly normal and well-adjusted heterosexual girl, unlike Cass the fucking creepy ass man-dyke
Raps shines the brightest when she's suffering
>genuine smile
But she will never be able to put on a smile in a painful situation like our girl Raps can.
I like Cass' maid dress though she doesn't like it.
THAT'S EFUCKINGNOUGH
Raps cultivated endurance for 18 years.
Her heart has the depth of sorrow we cannot even fathom
Cass sees herself fundamentally as a man.
so, user...
How was your day today?
it's about time we put the traitor bitch in her place
Remember in Death of Superman when Doomsday starts to strangle Superman with his own cape? This reminds me of that a little
Cass loves Eugene deep in her heart
Is this rape?
I ship Cass with Eugene
Delete this
no. don't be gross.
>saying frozen 2 will be bad when wandering swordswoman Cassandra post-tangled joins the group on their adventure
tfw you will never be able to pull that blond hair
>final shot of S1 (not the post credits) exactly mirrors Raps stepping foot onto the rock bridge at the end of S2
I'm unprepared for the amount of pottery we'll find once the show is over
Dream Cass and Peppy Cass are some of my favorite Cassi.
He doesn't look nearly angry enough to justify the hit, making this look plain awkward.
At first I was worried that the lesbian could use the finger guns too, but then I remembered this is from a fabrication. Everyone knows the real Eugene would have yeeted Cass to the fucking shadow realm with that move alone.
Rapunzel is the worst friend to have because she's not inherently malevolent. She's selfish and ignorant of other people's emotions. Traits all sociopaths possess. Varian and Cassandra chose to help her out of their own goodness, traits that Rapunzel exploited for her own benefit while completely unaware of how much it was costing them to care for her.
That's why they couldn't tell her how much of a jerk she is to her face, they felt guilty due to her upbringing so they kept helping her, all while piling up resentment every time she let them down.
Since they were guilt tripped into accepting she wasn't at fault, the anger built up until they exploded and drove them both to insanity. Meanwhile Rapunzel went on her merry way to pursue whatever picks her fancy.
To reach her destiny, she will gladly step on the corpses of her followers, using them to build a stairway to her dream. She will offer her friends and lover to unspeakable horrors on a whim, all while keeping that smile on her face.
But they're so cute, user!
Cassandra would probably have been sadistic enough to torture bird Rapunzel
That depends. Are you a cute lesbian girl? That's the only way Cass will get interested in you.
If so you must show her the beauty of the world while signing songs and then go skinny dipping with her to perform a secret marriage ritual.
This is what her outfit should have been like. More stylish, rogue like and with crow themes representing the Dark Kingdom. Not that capeshit bodysuit she got.
The original reminds me of another butch rug muncher cunt piece of shit.
Maybe the door showed her the destruction of Corona. That Rapunzel wouldn't be able to control it's power and would make it turn like the Dark Kingdom.
Maybe even showed Cassandra the death of her father by black rocks, and that the only way to stop her was to take it from Rapunzel.
Something like this?
Me too. I love how he goes from goofy support character into a competent villain the moment he switches sides.
I feel visions are a safe bet. Maybe even false ones
It just smacks unlikely and not good overall should her actions be fully good intentioned. It's plausible for her to be angry, resentful, and wanting to take the wild ride of her life in another direction even if its selfish and yet also not be completely evil
Cassandra is the most /fa/ of the show's characters. By the time we see Cassandra's Revenge, I'm 100% sure she'll have mastered the powers enough to give herself a sweet new outfit, plus
>capeshit
A cape. She's the hero in her mind, after all.
>he kinda vanishes until the very end of season 1 where he becomes the villain.
I thought it made sense. He was left to fester in his anger and hatred while also building automatons. They take time to create after all and his keikaku was actually very well crafted.
It's another possibility to motivate her betrayal, but the question is Cass is always a person not easy to trust a stranger so how the foretelling in the door successfully convinced her to believe in this "future"?
That or the Moonstone will destroy her. I mean she's lost most of the Sundrop too if not all of it.
I'm actually sad about it. She's short sighted just like Fredrick. She had the perfect healing item and the perfect city-building one. Imagine a kingdom built out of black rocks? It would be unbreakable.
Now imagine an army of black rock automatons animated and controlled through the Sundrop? Corona would rule/fix the world with an immortal queen.
Fredrick could have granted immortality to all coronians if he managed to grow more Sundrops. But instead he made a soup.
All of that sounds like asking to get a kick in the teeth from the Cosmos. Just ask Atlantis how it went when they pushed their magical cosmic shard too far
Well that makes sense if the "we're all together" song from season 2 finale is any indication. Just like in "Happiness Is..." Rapunzel needs both Eugene and Casandra to unleash the ultimate power.
Because alone she's not strong enough. Alone she's a scared and naive little girl, but Eugene gives her hope, and Cassandra makes her strong. Just imagine the finale being an epic battle against Zhan Tiri with Cassandra, Eugene and Rapunzel while "With you by my side" plays. OT3 right there.
Fuck off, don't mention capeshit here or post it.
Yeah, something that looked more medieval or fantasy style. The skintight spandex which is what the black rocks look like in the show feels more fitting on a fantasy capeshit show.
I'm sick of capeshit influencing other media. Some of us just want a fantasy world without being reminded of superheroes or Marvel.
Or if you really want the stone body style, then go for the classical Femto look. Go big or go home.
Ugh, reminds me of Syndrome too.
She's also rather emotional. By playing with her anger and dark feelings, along with convincing her that she's the "chosen one". That Corona needs her and that the fate of the world rests on her actions.
That would inflate her ego enough to convince her I bet.
As the door shut behind her, Cassandra took in her surroundings. She stood at the entrance to Lost Lagoon.
'Great' she thought, 'Another illusion.'
As she ventured into the cove, she heard splashing and giggling. She stopped as her foot caught something. A discarded violet dress.
Rapunzel splashed in the shallows, all grins and giggles. She lit up when she saw Cass and charged over to her, shamelessly nude.
"There you are Cass!" She beamed, taking Cass' withered hand. "The water is SO lovely!"
"I-I can't," Cass stammered, her face turning red as she turned away.
"You can't swim? Don't worry, I'll teach you," Rapunzel crooned as she pawed at Cass' shirt. "Let's get this off so it doesn't get WET!"
"Rapunzel, no! St-stop it! You're... YOU AREN'T REAL!"
Rapunzel froze and dropped her hands from Cass's shirt. Slowly, her expression unreadable, she leaned in and softly, so softly kissed her cheek. Her warm breath tickled her ear as she whispered.
"You're a sharp one. I like that,"
Suddenly, Cass was in the palace kitchen, mountains of dirty dishes in front of her. Her shirt was still wet from Rap's hands.
"Cassandra, what are you doing?" Old Lady Crowley voice interrupted her thoughts. "You can't wash dishes with that hand of yours!"
"What? Don't try to trick me, I know you're not-"
"Hush, we've already established that. I'll wash, you dry." She pulled up a stool and put her hands in the suds. Cass robotically picked up a towel.
"Who are you?" She demanded, with all the force she could muster as she wiped a plate she was handed. It the finest china. The Coronation china.
"There are so many names," Crowley mused as she polished a stubborn spot on a salad fork. "But Xhan Tiri will suffice. What is it you want, Cassandra?"
"What?"
"What is it you want out of life? Love, respect, power? Everybody wants something," she crooned as she pulled a sword out of the foam. "I'll dry this one Cass, Lord knows you can't handle swords anymore."

Cass shook her head clear and saw the dimly lit armory. Her father stood at attention, staring straight ahead.
"Try the bastard sword," he demanded, not even looking as she pathetically try to swing it. Her withered hand had no strength, her healthy one no finesse. She'd seen peasants shovel pig shit with more grace. "Try the hand-and-a half, the rapier, the claymore, mace, flail, axe, shortsword!" He rattled off everything in the armory.
"I can't," she croaked hoarsely. She felt her eyes burn.
"Try the dagger then," he sneered, his features taking on Fitzherbert's. "That's a woman's weapon. Though I can't tell if you wanna put it in Blondie's back or cut her out of her clothes with it!"
She was back with the caravan, they'd stopped for the night. Fitzherbert and Raps cuddled sickeningly by the fire.
"Envy is a green-eyed monster Cass. All the monsters in your life have green eyes, don't they?" Shorty burbled as he sat up from the dirt.
"I'm not jealous of them!" she spat, turning away from them. They were doing a lot more than cuddling now. She put her hands over her ears to drown out the sounds they made.
"That's not what I said."Shorty slurred, stumbling to sit next to her. Envy is wanting what others have. Jealousy is having something and being afraid to lose it. And you... have nothing to lose."

It would happen if Varian pours the chemicals converting black rocks to amber onto MoonCass' body?
God i hope these two never get redeemed and die in a way that takes them out of Rapunzel and Eugene's life permanently. Sissy nerd twink boy and obsessed butch bitch. They are an impediment to the happiness of the true heterosexual Chad and Stacey protagonist couple, like an anemic, pale and malformed reflection
You know who should really be removed permanently? Pascal.
This little green piece of annoyance does nothing at all, adds nothing to the show and only serves to distract the characters from other interactions. Nobody would even notice if he suddenly disappeared
Pascal is very useful for the sneaking jobs in the show, and he awakes Raps and her friends from the mind poisoning idol in the island.
She was at the Alchemist's shack. Quirin's amber sarcophagus was bright green instead of gold, bathing the room in a sickly glow.
"Come on Cass, tell me one way she hasn't let you down!" Varian tutted from atop his father's tomb. "She breaks your heart every day, she ratted you out to EUGENE, she dragged away from your destiny to follow her own," he counted off his withered, blackened fingers. "She'd rather trust the oh so cool Adira than her best friend, and last but not least!" He leapt down from his perch and stalked towards her.
"She crippled you, burnt you, ruined you forever with evil magic. She stole any hope of being a warrior right from your very fingers." Cassandra sunk to her knees and fought back tears. "From the moment she entered your life she has given you nothing but grief. Nothing but heartbreak."
"Why are you telling me this!?" She snarled at him. "If you expect I'll betray her-"
I EXPECT NOTHING, the voice echoed, shattering the illusion and leaving her in a dark void. "Cass wept and looked at her withered rotted hand with shuddering hatred. BUT KNOW THIS. THE SUNDROP ISNT THE ONLY FORCE THAT CAN ACHIEVE MIRACLES.
Cass caught her breath as her hand burned with a green light. She flexed her fingers and found they moved with an unfamiliar strength.
JUST SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT. NOW GO. YOUR FRIENDS ARE EXPECTING YOU CASSANDRA
Dimly, her restored hand felt a knob in it. Turning it, she opened the door and stepped out into the Sunlight
If Pascal is gone, Rapunzel would be too PTSD'd to function.
Pascal is actually a movie character and is therefore more canonical than Cass the creepy dyke
Fuck off. He's the best princess pet. I love how cynical he is contrasting Rapunzel's optimism. Doesn't even need to talk to convey emotion.
These two need to be combined into one continuous gif.
Yeah I know it's bound to fail because otherwise there would be no conflict, but the possibilities would be endless otherwise. A perfect orderly society or a dystopic draconian one. Both at Rapunzel's hands.
Threadly reminder that Next Stop Anywhere is about Rapunzel's first anal experience. From there on, gangbangs incoming:
>"We're gonna break every rule and cross every line"
Cassandra a shit. Bitch had it coming.
No, she never will. All that awaits her is death and despair now as Rapunzel tears off the Moonstone off her still beating heart.
Cassandra is a lovely and lesbian bitch
I think Varian's Cassandrium will replace the moonstone on her chest to save her.
Bet she also has wet dreams of this where she makes up hot and bothered.
Is that from the Lost Lagoon cover? It's beautiful.
Also wouldn't 70 ft of wet hair weigh hundreds of pounds?
>physically attack Raps
She tried in Challenge of Brave
>Breaking Bad or The Wire
Entirely better shows then GoT anyway.
>not wanting Chad and Stacey's pure love to show them the path to salvation
fagola supreme
Iron Cass?
Better?
Aka What I wanted Eugene to do to her everytime she dissed him without any provocation.
Do I have to watch anything before starting this? I started watch and then Punz and Cass started talking about "when they snuck out" so was there a short or another movie or something?
Just watch in the following pattern
Movie > Before Ever After (pilot) > Season 1 > Season 2
Ever After short is optional and literally the ending.
yes, you gotta watch "before ever after"
eyy thanks guys
My favorite thing about Cass is that she is a retard, but also a capable and well written one.
>she is a retard
So what's the best story of Flynn fucking both Raps and Cass?
Post sexy punzie
can't wait for the new episodes to arrive so most of the faggotry displayed in this thread can subdue.
>still no proper s2e17+ rips
Why must I suffer so.
stop being a snob faggot, m8.
buy the episodes online if you're so obsessed with getting high quality versions.
>hurr having standards is bad
I bet you unironically like streams too and think they're high quality because someone wrote 1080p in the title.
>buy
Where do you think you are?
>hurr having standards is bad
Beggars can't be choosers.
Obviously not. That doesn't mean I can't be an entitled faggot about it.
>i demand the best

Different context of “attack”
Is there a gif version of this?
here, I transformed it a while ago but I guess nobody bothered to save it.
Magic hair, she ain’t gotta explain shit
lRapunzel is a hippie nudist girl
Wait a minute, Tangled is set on Earth? Just watched the series recently and I recall Eugene saying he's been to Italy and the fact that the Italian language was spoken in one of the early S1 episodes. Does that mean The Principality of Antioch also exist?
m8, every fucking Disney Princess thing is set on "Earth" but they change the names of cities, countries and sometimes continents to their convenience.
I wonder: Rapunzel is the Sundrop, but we've seen that she has a limited ability to wield the Moonstone's power also, in the form of both controlling the black rocks and also her ability to use the Decay Spell. Now that Cass has merged with the Moonstone, could she have a limited ability to wield the Sundrop's powers? It would be pretty ironic if, in the midst of what's clearly some extreme destructive power on her part, she had the ability to use Rapunzel's old Healing Spell.
If you've ever read the comic series Bone I think we're operating on those rules
In that story two of the leads, Thorn and Fone during a run in with the Hooded One wind up with a piece of the Locust's soul within each of them which allows them to kill it when they use those fragments to link the Locust with the Crown of Horns
I think when Rapunzel touched the black rock, it was a bit of a +/- reaction of the sun and moon energy attracting each other and thus Rapunzel drawing in a small bit of moon magic
It's possible that with the bulk of the Moonstone's energy inside of her now Cassandra could have a similar thing happen and take a bit of Sundrop, but right off the bat I think she will be pure Moon
It's okay for them to fight and take the piss out of each other, it's what siblings do.
Seeing a Stacy Raps is always so unsettling and weird to me.
The decay spell is more like the solar eclipse power rather than moonstone itself. Raps hair turning black is like the sun is being overshadowed by the moon.
That's from the movie where Cassandra snucks out Rapunzel to a forest where she does lewd things to the princess, taking advantage of her innocence. It's the "Before Ever After" movie.
She's a musclehead that's for sure. But of the two I wonder who's more retarded. Rapunzel is easily taken advantage of, to the point Varian easily tricked her into committing treason and stealing the most valuable treasure in Corona. Raps was lucky that the Sundrop was no longer in the flower, or they would have been doomed.
Also Cassandra's cynism has helped her in more than one occasion. But of the three, I'd say Ryder is the smart one.
nudist gal
I've wondered the same. Does the Inquisition exist or will exist in their world? Would it condemn Raps for dealing with witchcraft or lesbianism?
Also the time period. Could Corona actually be set near the transition between monarchy and democracy? Could Rapunzel manage to survive something like the French Revolution or would she get the Romanov treatment? Will Uncle Monty volunteer to operate the guillotine that takes Rapunzel's head?
>Choosing this ugly font
>Choosing this ugly color that hides among the background
Lurk moar, fagget
Rapunzel is the sexiest slut
>Will Uncle Monty volunteer to operate the guillotine that takes Rapunzel's head?
You know he will. He'll even use the guillotine "veggie slicer" of Raps' own design, just to add insult to injury.
Shit, I never even thought of that! Makes sense too.
I wonder what would Rap's last words be. I think something like "My seal was better than the original. Fuck you, Monty!"
>Ryder
Ok Stalyan
Well, Flynn Ryder sounds better than Eugene, though I gotta say that Fitzherbert sounds cool too.
Flynn Ryder sounds exactly like it was meant to be, a tryhard "cool" name for someone not accepting the name of their birth
Eugene makes it so that Eugene is a based name
I always kind of figured that He'd keep calling himself Flynn, at least in his head, for a time after meeting Rapunzel.
In fact, in the shitty fanfiction I wrote in my head, it was supposed to be an important bit when his inner monologue changed from "Flynn" to "Eugene"
I like your fanfiction. If you ever release it into writing I'd like to read it.
Isn't that implied in the movie already?
Yep, the true Tangled fans would call him Eugene instead of Flynn.
>Cassandra attacks Rapunzel and her party
>attack is overwhelming
>Rapunzel falls off a ledge
>breaks her neck
>Cassandra comes to her as she's lying there paralyzed
>"As much as I love you lying here helpless, Raps, I have so much more suffering planned for you. I can't have you dying right now."
>black rocks surround Rapunzel
>they begin to glow gold
>Cassandra starts to sing
>"Flower gleam and glow..."
Many fans think the Sundrop is inherently good but I think it can be used to keep people in a state against their will. Also more than healing, it looks like time control or time rewind.
>it looks like time control or time rewind.
Well, I mean, it's already in the song.
"Make the clock reverse"
YAAAHHHH IT'S REWIND TIME
I take that as more metaphorical. Cellular regeneration and the like, not literal time travel
Mostly because I fucking hate time travel and don't want it anywhere near this story please God don't bring time travel shit into here the show is doing so good
WEll, the applications we've seen so far are more like pushing time through people, rather than moving time back in general, or traveling through a timeline.
But Rapunzel treats it like healing. Once again showing how little she understands of her power. Just imagine the possibilities if it's true time rewind. Could she use it to travel back? Could she make the clock go forward instead, making someone age or even make crops produce out of season?
There's literally no reason for this show to actually have time travel, I wouldn't worry whatsoever.
I'd like to see what someone like Varian or Xavier could do with Rapunzel's abilities. Bet they could make some neat spins to the power.
Also is it just me, or is Xavier rather shady?
I'll admit, I've not seen the recent episodes. One of the last ones I remember is the bird one, and that was nice. But didn't she get some kind of decay spell or something recently? That's all her hair going black and stuff? Anyway if she did, and I mean magic is magic, but healing things and causing them to rot certainly sounds more like being able to make things regress and progress through time.
I very much doubt there'll be a chance of literally time traveling. She can just make things older or younger with her hair.
Not shady, but he clearly has access to skills and knowledge a run of the mill blacksmith shouldn't
Yeah Rapunzel got some nasty decay spells now and can nuke things with her Sundrop powers. Definitely watch "Rapunzel and the Great Tree". Awesome episode with great music.
As long as that's how far they take things I have no issue
Also WATCH THE RECENT EPISODES
If you haven't gotten to the island yet, don't worry when you do. Just persevere
Just rewatched the Before Ever After movie special and I find this part so heartwarming. Eugene's words are so sweet and I feel crushed when Rapunzel rejects him.
Also, is it my imagination or is Cassandra more expressive in the movie?
Nah, we're just used to fewer expressions in S2 because her soul has been ground into a state of permanent despair after the great tree
The healing incantation is like the function of Dr. Strange's time stone, but not time travel of quantum realm in Avengers Endgame.
Getting through S2's first half is such a fucking Herculean effort. It's not even like the episodes are particularly bad per se, but the pacing is so horribly off. I'd be fine if it was like 1 or 2 episodes per locale they visit but they linger on each place for so fucking unnecessarily long. (Unrelated, but why does the gang just go back to Vardaros after they leave it in the first episode? I know it's to help them rebuild but it's still weird. Why not just have them stay?) It also makes the island arc sting so much more because it couldn't be more of an obvious setup just to get the gang to do weird shit on an island. It doesn't help that the Serafina episodes are so fucking boring and that the Pascal episode is just a forced retread. So much just feels like a blatant waste of time. Thank fuck the second half of the season totally makes up for it.
PROTECT THEIR SMILE
Yeah in Before Ever After she seems a lot more certain about her role in the group and her importance to Rapunzel. I think even in season 1 she seems more anxious and eager to please her father.
Yeah. I don't like saying it but season 2 really comes off as boring.
S2 is HORRIFICALLY front-loaded with little of consequence
We spend what, four episodes in Vardaros? then not long after at least 3 episodes on the island. For a season with the overall plotting of a road trip, the first half is very much bogged down in singular locations
Cass looks so cute when she's got a dumb blank look on her face.
To be fair, I think there was a tweet or interview where they mentioned the desire for the crew to spend only 1 episode in a locale but the mouse didn't give them enough money. So they had to reduce the idea to spending 3-4 episodes because the cost of drawing one different locale each episode was too high for the budget.
So gotta blame the mouse, but still I think the plots could have been made more interesting. Season 1 was all in Corona and yet I found it more compelling than season 2, plot wise.
They should've had at least 1 or 2 episodes dedicated to more Saporia lore, of it's true that they'll be a major returning threat in S3.
I don't know if it's the beer but I find this gif extremely uncomforatble
mmmmmaybe
I know they have had their share of issues with the Mouse but creative solutions ought to be within the realm of possibility. Even if it's mainly the same indistinct wilderness they spend most the of the "road" in
Freebird for example (fuck you niggas I love that one), not complicated in terms of locale but carried by a strong concept and interpersonal relationships
Considering S2 is a road trip and it requires lot more efforts in background works than S1 which takes place in Corona mostly. It's hard to blame the group stuck in the same place more than one episode sometimes. Island arc is more like the group having vacation on the detour. At least the it has some good tropical views with new outfits of the characters, also the pepper reaction of Raps is kino.
I'm worried that season 3 will be too rushed because of the amount of plot lines left hanging. We still got the Varian and Quirin plot hanging, the Zhan Tiri debacle, the crazy rugmuncher Cassandra plot AND if they also add Saporia to the mix, it may be too much for a season unless we get many specials or they make some masterful directing.
I'm worried about season 3 thinking of all that.
>but carried by a strong concept and interpersonal relationships
imo that's what carries an episode anyway. You may have pretty sparkly locales but they mean shit if you don't care about the story
I'm assuming they're just saving that for S3 in general.
I'd say S1 is much better in terms of consistent quality the whole way through, but S2's highs are REALLY fucking high. The second half really saves it from fizzling out as bad as it could have, they really don't pull any punches. From the Tree episode onward it's a pretty fun and engaging time the whole way through. Even its "filler" episodes are pretty fun and have importance in their own ways. It's just a shame there's a whole lot to get through before that.
The ahegao peppers and idol episodes were the only good parts of the island arc
Honestly, if S3 is pretty plot heavy it shouldn't be a problem at all. Assuming they cut down the "filler" episodes a bit (Which seems really likely given how high the stakes are now) they probably have more than enough time to wrap things up well. From the instagram Q and A, Chris said the only thing he could really say about S3 at the moment was that it answers a lot of questions. Yeah you could boil that down to generic vague marketing talk, but Chris has earned a lot of trust from me at least.
thing about s3 is that I assume they'll return to corona within a reasonable span of time
consistent location is conducive, or at least it should be
oh god season 3. I'm not emotionally resolute enough for this shit to end bros. I'm just fucking not
Rapunzel and the Great Tree was a great episode. I think I liked it even more than the finale. They really didn't pull any punches and I think it's what saved season 2 for me.
Actually I'm not sure I've seen other cartoons traumatically cripple a character like they did with Cassandra, have the party almost wiped by the bubbly all loving heroine and having the villain be sympathetic all in one episode.
Also "Waiting in the Wings" was a great song. I liked it even more than Eugene's solo.
>it answers a lot of questions
I should damn well hope so
truth be told there aren't THAT many hanging questions (plent y of plotlines) so they just need to ration their season worth of episodes wisely. Given how long we've heard they've had things planned out, I'm optimiitkc
It's the frozen dead faces and the blinking
It's understandable. S2's finale is good but it mostly just serves to set up S3 and the emdgame unlike S1's finale which wraps up a contained arc of S1 pretty well. Great Tree serves to set up the second half of S2 and the escalating tensions of the party, a lot of shit goes down with tangible consequences that are felt the whole way through and into future episodes so it's a lot more satisfying. It's also the first time we've really seen a naive innocent old age Disney Princess archetype really, REALLY fuck up (Intentionally or otherwise) and have to actually deal with the consequences of their actions and realize that shit doesn't automatically get back fine and dandy all the time just because. And that's on top of the new lore we got and a genuinely unsettling depiction of said princess turning into an emotionless and near unstoppable death machine TWICE. And as for Waiting in the Wings, in the Q and A Chris mentions it's his favorite song since it's the culmination of Cass's repressed feelings over a long time and her solo song was always planned from the beginning to be at a pivotal moment of her as a character, they just waited for the right time to use Eden's talent to its fullest.
Overall I'd say Great Tree is a strong contender for the show's best episode.
Rapunzel will win back her friendship by sharing Eugene's dick with her.
So many good aspects of it. I need to rewatch "Queen for a Day" and the Varian episodes to see which one I like the most.
Except if you're talking to people who've never seen the movie. Then it would be a spoiler.
All of those plot threads can work well if they're all related to each other, which is what I'm sure their angle is.
They will have to return to Corona sooner than later, perhaps middle of season. They'll return to find Corona in flames because they forgot about how easily Varian could escape his prison.
okay but wou whould watch the show without having seen the movie
is actual question, would be interesting if someone with no background on the property started with series
WHAT IS WRITTEN ON THAT FUCKING NOTE AAAAA
IT BETTER NOT BE SOME COP OUT LIKE "i LOVE YOU SON"
So I'm trying to map out all the "players" as we head into Season 3. That is, I'm trying to lay out everyone who has a distinct, independent agenda, something they want to achieve regardless of what everyone else around them might want. Here are all the distinct players I can identify at this point:
-Rapunzel/Pascal
-Eugene
-Maximus
-Cassandra
-Lance
-Adira
-Hector
-Dark King/Eugene's Dad
-Zhan Tiri
-Demanitus (or his ghost)
I strongly considered lumping Eugene in with Rapunzel and Pascal, but I feel like he has an endgame of his own in mind that doesn't completely correspond to Rapunzel's own destiny, which Pascal fully supports.
It's definitely going to be "I'm proud of you", that way Varian can feel like a fucking jackass for trying to kill people over what he already had.
You know it's going to be right? It'll probably helo him realize what an autist creep he's been all along.
I'd add Varian, he's definitely coming back and last we saw him he was still obsessed with his goal.
>but I feel like he has an endgame of his own in mind that doesn't completely correspond to Rapunzel's own destiny
I genuinely think that Eugene, even at the very end of Season 2, wishes that Raps had never regrown her hair. I think he wants absolutely nothing to do with the Moonstone and the Sundrop, and would have been happier, overall, if he'd just been able to hang around Corona until Rapunzel was ready to accept his marriage proposal. Of the three main characters he seems to be the least interested in "destiny." He just believes in Rapunzel and the love they've found together. I mean, he discovered a destiny of his own in the last episode of Season 2, and he seems to have found it deeply unpleasant.
Dear Varian
I am the scion knight of a Dark Kingdom destroyed by meddling with the cosmic fountainhead behind the black rocks. I told the king to do nothing because meddling with the rocks makes it worse.
There are many excuses I could make for not telling you. Two royal oaths to secrecy, wanting to protect you from the truth, the fact Felonsbane said he'd have me on a ship to Glacial Gulag if I talked. But excuses are like assholes boy. I fucked up. Plain and simple.
It is important to take responsibility for your own failures, no matter what. No shifting the blame, no vendettas to avoid your own guilt. Sack up and own up to it.
Went on a weird tangent there. Sorry. Being engulfed in amber now. Gotta be quick. In summation, love you son, don't touch the rocks, don't blame others for your fuck ups, your cosmic connection to th--

dude has a fucking existential crisis

I thought they were living in a complete fantasy world all this time, but living in alternate earth is news to me. If so, then where the fuck is my Corona's Hospitaller knight chapter?
Exactly. Motherfucker was so happy being "Eugene Fitzherbert, formerly Flynn Ryder, consort of Rapunzel, the Princess." This was such a stable, happy identity for him, and he played it so well that he was a source of strength to everyone around him. And now it's all gone and he hates that.
I don't understand why not all the artwork of Raps' journal was covered in the episodes.
Here is the artist's instagram

>get to S2 on my rewatch
>skip all the way to Great Tree after I finish the first episode
Feels good lads
It's like watching season 2 but I don't feel bored to death for half of it
>tfw Rapunzel ends up wielding the power of the cosmos once she takes possession of both the Moonstone and the Sundrop
I think Stalyan and Baron's arc still have to be settled down in S3. Also Stabbington brothers may be redeemed in some extent so they're invited to attend the wedding in Ever After. Angry and Red are confirmed their return in S3.
Look at the fourth piece of scroll. The sun drop and moonstone's power probably come from a comet
The fourth piece also seems to indicate that whatever birthed both the Sundrop and the Moonstone also wields power over... everything? All humans, all animals, all plants. All life, at least.
>tfw everyone saying that someone wielding both the Sundrop and the Moonstone is omnipotent was right
Not sure if related but theres not enough games with Rapunzel in them. Besides the official licensed game and KH3, does she make appearances in any other games?
Downloaded Disney Heroes Battle Mobile cos I thought she would be inside but turns out the game is still new and they are still slowly releasing characters (Elsa is in it and Moana, with Belle releasing next so maybe Rapunzel will be inside in the future?)
She is in Disney Infinity. Sadly movie / cartoon tie in games are dead since mobile got big.
Cass only needed a kiss
I'm actually glad we've seen no sign at all of a "pair the spares" mentality with Lance and Cass. Cass deserves her own weird destiny and Lance, our guy, deserves Adira.
Nah, she's just been itching to actually full on kill someone. Not like she pulls her sword out every 2 seconds for nothing, she's just waited for the perfect opportunity to commit murder and get away with it. But she realized it'll never happen, so she decided to just drop the pretense and go full evil to relieve her years of pent-up autistic rage.
You can find Raps' appearance in some Disney licensed mobile app games like Disney Magic Kingdom, Disney Emoji Blitz or Disney Tsum Tsum
Cass kissing and fondling Raps from the front while Eugene kissing Raps neck and works on her bottom from behind.
It says all.
Cass is not a lesbian
BASED
No Forest episode or Eye of Pincosta? Fucking speedviewers.
Does anyone actually like these two? Red is sometimes cute but they generally irritate me.
You know, for a setting that is set on Earth, why not make the crew actually go to Italy like what Flynn did? Lots of opportunity there like eating pizzas, meeting Leonardo, hearing operas and commit genocide for Venice and Genoa.
>power over... everything?
That, or it can give rise to those types of life. It looks like the animals and plants and people are originating directly from the source of power. Sort of like those actual theories about ancient comets depositing the starter components needed for life on earth.
Shouldn't skip Vigor the Visionary and Curse also. Those are important episodes to build up the main plot.
The episodes with their appearance are very good.
They're good episodes, but not ones I'd consider really watching again. That's my main gripe with S2's first half actually. It's not inherently bad but it's nothing great either.
I actually did watch the Forest episode again though, might watch the Vigor episodes too I guess.
I hated all the Vigor episodes on my first watch-through, but the payoff made them all worth it.
Timothy FUCKING Dalton
I want at least some form of that beautiful bastard's superb voice back in the S3 somehow. Maybe a flashback of the betrayal? I dunno, I just want more Demanitus.
No one's posted the details Sonnenburg gave a fan on the sun and moon powers?
>It can kill others instantly or slowly Cassandra was lucky that when she touched Rapunzel during the events of Zhan Tiri's tree, Rapunzel was focused on giving the team time to escape not killing the tree. If it were the other way around Cassandra wouldn't be in the story right now. This power also works at a distance as seen when she first used the power, the distance can cross the planet, or even across multiple universes if Rapunzel wanted to hurt that many people. The moon stone can wither and decay others as said in the incantation. It can erase things into total nothingness, destroy all things within the universe or other universes and dimensions it all depends on how the user cheese to use the power of the stone. It grants Rapunzel and Cassandra the ability to manipulate all forms of negative energy physical and spiritual, and lastly for the moon stone it can control other people's will, their thoughts, and heart.
Cont.
>The sun drop can heal, resurrect, and regenerate the user from all wounds physical and spiritual. The sun drop also grants longevity, immortality, Rapunzel aged the way she did cause she chose if she wanted to remain a child the power of the sun drop would've allowed it. It slows down her aging as well, much like a character such as the Wolverine. The sun drop can also protect Rapunzel, as seen in earlier episodes her hair would climb up the castle and latch onto things itself rather than have Rapunzel do so. It is living and it will protect Rapunzel because it is part of her and they are needed to keep the balance within the Disney universe. The shield it can create around Rapunzel with her hair is both offensive and defensive it protects her from strikes but hits the opponent back ten times as hard with sun beams and as seen in "Lost and Found" if the opponent is far weaker than Rapunzel it destroys them all the way down to their quarks. As the opposite of the moonstone and the negative energy it feeds on the sun drop thrived on positive energy both physical and spiritual. Both the sun drop and moon drop are stronger during their respective times though, night and day. Although this change is hardly noticeable even within the context of the story.

Huh, so Raps has a healing factor. This makes perfect sense, because how else could she constantly walk around without shoes while still having such great, healthy feet?
>this power also works at a distance as seen when she first used the power, the distance can cross the planet, or even across multiple universes if Rapunzel wanted to hurt that many people
>Wolverine healing
>if the opponent is far weaker than Rapunzel it destroys them all the way down to their quarks
HOLY FUCK RAPS CONFIRMED MOST POWERFUL PRINCESS NOT EVEN A FUCKING CONTEST
>Tfw Rapunzel is at multiverse buster level of power
WHAT THE FUCK
You forgot to add that part in the thread where Chris confirms Rapunzel has at least a 150 IQ
I'm serious, that's actually there
>Rapunzel could annihilate Elsa in a fight
>anons argued Rapunzel vs Elsa for years
>when Raps doesn't even need to be in the same fucking universe to wreck Elsa's shit
I'm fucking dying
Chris is eternally based beyond all recognition
>Rapunzel and Cass really ARE upgrading into god-level beings of destruction
>Rapunzel and Cassandra are literally the Bogdanoffs
God I can't fucking wait the day they will release KH3 on PC and rip the punz model.
Too bad we won't get Cass 3d model.
I think the multiverse power level is more like joking and Chris is drama queen. I don't think the mouse would let Raps overpowered like this. Her sun drop hair can cast a nuke is already beyond my expectation, not to mention she may acquire the ultimate power of combining sun and moon in final.
Elsa is nothing. Rapunzel could annihilate the entire Disney universe then leap through the fourth wall to annihilate all of us too.
Shhhh, a man may dream
Zhan Tiri, the ocean gods, olympians, Elsa’s snow magic, they’re all fragments of the Great Comet. Rapunzel will claim them all
I'm a science geek myself but uh...
Quarks... 150 IQ... string theory...
A lil bit cringy to be perfectly honest (maybe I'm just disgruntled because I'm a snob and I encountered these concepts mostly in frustrating academic settings)
These just seem like placeholder words that sound cool but can be just as replacable and would actually make more sense with less grandiose magic stuffs
Let punzie be a dorky goofball okay?
Rapunzel's always been a literal genius. When she was locked up in a tower with her only education being 3 books she taught herself drawing, painting, guitar, sewing, cooking, paper mache crafting, dance, chess, knitting, marksmanship, pottery, ventriloquism, candlemaking and starcharting. All before she turned 18.
And Rap's power levels are supposed to be silly. She's holding half of the cosmic fountainhead. She'll give up omnipotence for humanity, don't worry. Remember when Spyro was a canon universebuster?
He what
spyro.fandom.com
deviantart.com
Yep. As of that edgy Spyro reboot before Skylanders, Spyro is a cosmic destroyer god.
The DeviantArt belongs to Jared Pullen, lead designer for Legend of Spyro. So it is very canon
Eh, If I were locked away with no computer I would've done all that and some more
No Shorty and his chaotic evil agenda?
I'd like them to explore places like that. Season 2 could have been the perfect spot to do it.
Fuck that's truly omnipotence. And Raps is planning to let it go? She truly is Felonsbane's daughter, as shortsighed as him.
>for the moon stone it can control other people's will, their thoughts, and heart.
So this is the mystical gayification ray? Cassandra's plan makes sense now, she wants to convince Rapunzel that she's a lesbian and fuck her.
Hey it may look like a joke, but how can you explain her being such a savant and quickly mastering all forms of art and combat? Bet if she set her mind to it, she could rival Demanitus or at least Varian.
We already saw what she can do in Challenge of the Brave, somehow she's extremely smart and never runs out of energy. Which makes sense too as the Sundrop power would keep her brain alert while other standard savants would inevitably get tired and have to rest.
Chris the fucking madman
How can Arianna be so cute? And what did she think when she realized Rapunzel turned out just like Willow?
That's why she's so based, she's a dorky goofball with literal god powers.
>It grants Rapunzel and Cassandra the ability to manipulate all forms of negative energy physical and spiritual, and lastly for the moon stone it can control other people's will, their thoughts, and heart.
>Cass hypno seducing Raps, but it only works at night when the moonstone is slightly stronger
Could the madman actually do it?
The Moonstone and Sundrop cannot harm each other or their vessels They're two halves of the same whole. No hypno-lesbos.
Even as a nigh unstoppable goddess of death and the mind Cass will continue to suffer
Which will be hilarious if she does try to brainwash Raps. I still think they'll defeat Zhan Tiri with the power of wet sloppy lesbian scissoring though.
>warps the mind of everyone BUT Rapunzel to make her the only one that can love her back
Oh I bet they will. The Sunflower can't be lost that easily. Also it seems that Rapunzel COULD theoretically outlive Eugene by thousands of years if she wanted to, even though he probably will live long thanks to his Darkenian genes.
Is it the new comics?
>POOFY raps
muh dick
Is it really a comic? Rapunzel looks kinda evil with the knife in that one.
Will based Hector return
Probably from this one. Maybe first time based on S2 setting.
tenshichan1013.tumblr.com
He will return as a corpse animated by Adira's version of the death spell. She will control him like a puppet to fight, his soul forever trapped in the rotting carcass, unable to scream.
a nudist hugging a knight
Eugene is dating a nudist
desu I love the idea of Rapunzel as a nudist hippie girl. It fits her character so well given her spunkyness and disregard for social conventions. Besides, I'd like to know what hanging with a nudist would be like.
Eugene you lucky bastard.
Probably returns as Eugene's minion.
My friend is into naturism. It's not a sex thing, she just prefers being nekkid. You get used to it pretty quick and stop caring.
>_ isn't a sex thing
riiiight
But what for? Like she just spends all day naked in the house? Doesn't she have to get dressed again when cooking or similar so she doesn't get oil burns?
She wears an apron to cook, flipflops and gloves in the garden, she puts on clothes to go out. She lives alone in the country so she doesn't have to worry about privacy. She just... likes being nekkid. She always said it was about not being ashamed of your natural anatomy. It helped her get over a lot of confidence issues and trauma from a rough childhood
Nope. Sexuality and nudity couldn't be more separate in her mind. Hell, when she and I were dating she'd dress up for sex. Lingerie, ribbons, that stupid meme sweater, you name it. She treats clothes the way we view costumes
In terms of skill, Cassandra likes to think she got where she is because of her hard work and training. But really, all you need to do is let the first transwomen pummel the living daylights out of her to disabuse her of this delusion
It's not that Cassandra isn't talented. She's only superhuman compared to the Corona Guard, soft weak children who grew up in a country made safe by Felonsbane's regime.
Compared to the skills of old warriors like Adira and Hector, she's an amateur
Adira's a fucking bitch.
>She lives alone in the country so she doesn't have to worry about privacy. She just... likes being nekkid.
>tfw you'll never have your own naked hippie sun goddess
Life is suffering, kill me now.

Wtf is up with their hands?
Bookanon's back. In Vanishing Village Rapunzel is assigned by the cult people to do an art class for the happy citizens of Harmony Glenn. She asks her students to draw a self-portrait of the body part that most embodies them. Some people chose their hands. Others a back, a knee, a bellybutton.
Rapunzel chose her feet. Not her hair, her feet. She explains that while her hair made her special, it also made her a target for greedy people who's selfishness nearly destroyed her family. Her hair is a burden, a literal weight on her mind. But her feet ground her, her literal connection to the world around her. Her feet that strain for freedom just like her soul. Her feet bear the scars and lines of her journeys so far, and will carry her wherever her heart yearns. To her feet represent strength, stability, and freedom.
Thought you guys might have fun with that.
They fucking know
Bookanon here. Me and Bookworm just finished her report on Vanishing Village.
The magistrate who was running Harmony Glenn like Jonestown was conman who came into town a decade ago and slowly started introducing "traditions and customs" loosely based off of the Flynnegan Ryder books in order to gain influence and power in the community. It worked mostly because the citizens of Harmony Glenn are really stupid. His reasoning for this was to harvest and sell the magical Blue Moss that grows in the bog near the village, which has bizarre qualities such as mutating animal life, accelerating healing, and producing indestructible metal. Those who didn't cooperate were either coerced or secretly banished. He was thwarted by the gang, and is banished from the town. And he would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling kids, and their stupid frog!
6/10. Not as good as Lesbian Lagoon, but the character POV's were nice and it was neat to watch them tackle a cult and resolve all of it without violence. Bookworm loved it. I'm gonna dig out my old Deltora Quest collection and introduce her to some old friends while we wait out the prospective hiatus.
Thanks for your reading!
Kinda sucks knowing there probably won't be a third since Disney lost faith in the show and all.
>turns out the best education for a child is locking them away in a tower full of stuff with no contact to the outside world
Are neets potential geniuses?
""""potential""""
Neetdom not enforced by imprisonment isn't the same as your average tendie huffer
Punz needs more outfits
She is a footfag paradise. Did Eugene or Cassandra participate?
Eugene was rehearsing to play Flynnegan Rider
Cassandra was rehearsing to play a tree
Are these Disney Channel promos in the making?
Could this be Raps' season 3 outfit?
Is Rapunzel the most /fa princess?
If a person pursues their own self-education and self-training program, are they really Not in Education, Employment, or Training?
I remember green dress Raps is from her early design of the movie
Reminder that chestlets are a menace
Seeing as her name is taken from a purple flower, I'm glad they went with purple instead.
is this loss?
Just finished my rewatch. Still love the series a fuckton (Definitely in my best cartoons of the 10s so far) and I have a newfound appreciation for older episodes. Especially the Vigor ones, they work so much better when you realize it's Demanitus testing Raps and Eugene through his own little twisted games. The curse episode being a test of faith for Rapunzel to use later on in the maze was a nice touch. Also it was nice to be able to skip the island arc (Though I did give the idol episode a watch again.)
Damn, that last episode is so utterly heartwrenching to watch when you know what happens. On the second watch I noticed Cass doesn't even hug Rapunzel back when she thanks her for all her help on their journey. The turn's even sadder when you consider in an earlier scene Raps decides to let Cass walk into the stone room with her after ignoring Adira's warning her otherwise and finally deciding to trust her, and surprise! It was the worst decision she could have made. Dang, what a trip.
Glad I rewatched it, it got a lot of the autism out of me. I'm ready to watch another show (Probably The Wire) while I wait for S3. It's been a fun ride bros, I can't wait to see how it ends.
Guys, please help me. I need something to fill the void.
I already rewatched the series, I started watching Ducktales yesterday but I'm already up to date...
I need something comfy, wholesome and with good animation.
That's a hard choice, to get all three at least.

It's unironic pottery. She takes what in another show or movie would be the final lesson that saves the day to heart and trusts her friend, and that decision fucks them all in the mouth
Big Hero 6 the series ain't bad
Man I love this scene.
Maybe at the start of S3 they lose Cass in the group and it also involves big spoilers on the plot so the timing of the third book is not appropriate.
You can see the timeline of the books
Lost Lagoon : Before S1 started
Vanishing Village: Before S2 started
I think the most enkoyable thing was the Eugene POV. Such a sweet way to think of Raps.
That's pretty heavy shit for a kids show but I love that. Once again, one of my favorite things about the show is how it places the standard bubbly, naive Disney princess archetype we've come to know face to face with genuinely tough decisions. And with cases like Varian and Cass, those decisions come with tangible consequences that effect not only her but everyone around her and it can bite everyone in the ass. It feels like it's addressing the criticisms people have had with the archetype for decades and it takes them in stride. When she acts ignorant and immature it's not just brushed off like it's nothing, she actually has to face the music. It turns the standard princess model into less of an inherently flawed system for shaping a one note character for just one film and more of a place for Rapunzel to grow as a person. It's something we haven't seen before and it all feels like logical progression for her as a character. I'm quite shocked using this angle for the Disney Princess character type hasn't already been done before, it feels like something that should have happened a while ago.
>Big Hero 6
I have mixed feeling about season 2. I mean I'm not against the mutation theme and Liv seems to have potential to be good villain, but the character designs of mutated S1 villains are not my cup of tea (especially momakase) and I think it took away their own charms.
Green dress raps is beautiful. It suits her very good.
And what's the fairy one?
Truly Cassandra was made to suffer.
Yes, she is.
Just like irl.
It's a show made with passion. While I don't think it can rival classics like Batman:TAS, it certainly is a well crafted spin to the classic princess fairytales with modern elements such as making the princess not a damsel in distress.
I love it as much as I do BTAS, Samurai Jack and other shows mostly because I've loved Didney shit all my life and it feels like this show was tailor made for me and my mouse related autism. That's just me though, pls no bully.
No worries, user. I love it too, I used to be a huge disneyfag but lost touch of it once everyone got autistic with Frozen. Then came back after watching some Tangled and fell in love with Rapunzel and her story.
Honestly it was pure luck I stumbled upon the series here, thanks to these threads and the rest is history. I've never been as enticed by a disney princess story since Mulan.
Only reason I won't put it into Batman: TAS levels is that at least to me, Batman made the story enjoyable for kids while adding complex themes only adults could grasp. Tangled does too, but there are some arcs that are a real pain and some situations are solved in a rushed unsatisfying way (like Eugene's solo who solved it by talking to Pascal). I think if it had a higher rating, the writers would have more freedom.
Still a great show
Totally get ya pham. I didn't outright hate it, but I can see how shit like the island arc would knock the show down a few pegs for some people. I'm just a faggot who thinks the classic Disney™ charm makes up for a lot of the show's flaws so I'm not as fazed.
I've been watching the Carmen Sandiego series as recommended by another /tangled/ user. It's pretty good but they traded in animation quality for really beautiful environment designs. Better environments than Tangled, but the much lower range of character animation is irritating, though overall is good show. Also watching DC Superhero Girls and Doom Patrol because I'm a capefag. Former is mediocre, latter is excellent but not cartoon.
Bingo. There’s our ending.
Hilda is so good also. And it is animated by the same studios as Tangled.
This lemonhead looks very hot.

>陛下
He's a King, not an Emperor though. Hector should be using 殿下
Is bookanon willing to share some of those Eugene POVs?
Matthews looks he can be a better foster parent than Gothel.
Yeah gimme a minute. Don't none of you whine about them being sideways, I'm on mobile
>I want to fuck her until she dies
She probably will soon so you better hurry
thanks, Hilda seems very very short (13 episodes from what I'm seeing) so'll I give it a chance and then will try watching either Carmen or BH6.
Literally the only reason why she can't compete is because Eugene got to Raps first.
Cass would make a much better match for Elsa
are generals banned?
Yes But I'm genuinely unsure as to why, every board has the same fucking threads every day
Both of them have tiny tits. But whereas Raps' are cute and perky, Cass droops and hangs lower than an unsupported, desiccated old woman
Shut up user, you take that back Cass is perfect! PERFECT! REEEEEEEEEE
Foreshadowed she will place a moonstone in front of her chest.
Her legs are hotter tbqhwy
not too sticc
not too thicc
perfectly balanced
Hi Bookanon
Do you have digital copy to share?
>clearly posting pics of physical pages
???????
Anyone have the rest of these?
She is a hippie nudist girl
>not too sticc
Wrong. Look at these toothpicks she stands on.
I dont feel like solving captcha anymore so search it on past tangled threads
But concept art pic is not the finalised setting.
So Shorty should be inside the fridge.
*MOANS*
FTFY
Cassandra may be a seething femcel, but she didn't take advantage of Rapunzel's impaired state.
But green dress looks also fine.
Not that we know of...
But I prefer a pdf file to read the whole book.
>nudist
Nudist hippie girl
Memory loss Raps has higher defenses than regular Raps though. Cass may be desperate but not stupid. Just retarded.
Then get it on Google Play
I want to lick her feet.
based and nudistpilled
I rewatched the episode "Under Raps". There is a quote from Andrew "Cassandra, Saporia will rise again and we'll have you to thank for it.".
Would it be foreshadowing what will happen in S3?
Probably, but what would it have to do with Zhan Tiri? Or did Andrew know Matthew/Edmund beforehand?
I could believe Andrew to have been a former Darkenian, but he didn't seem to display any link to Zhan Tiri.
Maybe
Cass joining the Saporian rebels in some capacity has been thrown around a lot here
Personally I just wanna see it because a Disney Princess fighting off a literal terrorist organization sounds hilarious to me
She would have taken advantage of Rapunzel in bird form if she got the chance. She'd have stuck BirdRaps into one of her holes or plucked her feathers out
>nudist
Would Rapunzel be strong enough to survive the modern world or a post apocalyptic wasteland?
Let's have a rest for a spell mkay
FOR REAL THIS TIME MKAY
t. reverse psychologist
Yeah even now I think quality has devolved a lot compared to the first threads. How long? Till next week?
That's because there's nothing to talk about. Hell, the highlight of this thread was a juvenile chapter book. I say we reconvene next Friday
Disregarding her sun powers, she's still a genius. With the sun powers, she's basically a goddess.
An amnesiac, essentially fresh out of the tower Rapunzel neutralized 3.5 skilled criminals with guerrilla tactics including improvised traps and psychological warfare. She'd do fine
Whereas I can see Rapunzel aging gracefully, Cassandra is going to hit the wall hard. She is going to look like a full blown man by the age of 30
.
Cass is already close to her mid 20s, I'd say she'll look just fine.
This, please let it rest a couple of days, guys.
God, rewatching s1 episodes again and it's shocking how good she looks in that lady in waiting outfit
I love armor too, but a girl that can do both, fuark brehs
