>Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun-
>STARK!
>OH! OOOOOH~!
>Savior of the universe!
I'll never understand why someone would buy flowers just to put them in front of a statue just to take a picture and post it on social media for attention.
I still can't believe how Iron Man's image has changed with the coming of the MCU.
I still remember the humorless douche of civil war which has been completely wiped out these days and now he's some snarky goody two-shot who is Spider-Man's hero and father figure.
That bit about Spider-Man in particular really irritates me.
I remember people siding with IM and Cap equally for Civil War. Guess that's what happens when you have two good characters
I really hate how they handled Tony in Endgame. Went out like a punk, and they didn't commit to him being broken after failing to stop the snap. If there was ever a time to make him a depressed alcoholic, that was it. Instead, he gets to live five happy years by a lake with his happy little family. Bullshit. Not having to give up Morgan to save the universe? Bullshit.
You seem to understand just fine.
he's talking about comics Civil War and how Iron Man became one of the most hated characters
movies really saved him and overcame that perception. Movies also saved Scarlet Witch and Vision from Bendis.
Miles was recently saved from Bendis too. Riri is on her way; jury's still out.
Exactly. I hated him abandoning his work to be a Stay at Home Dad, for not taking responsibility even for a bit after Infinity War. That's not Tony Stark, he's driven by guilt, overwork and alcohol. He would also decide to sacrifice his own kid, that's who he is. And he would never hate Steve so much he doesn't speak to him for seven years.
As for Steve, he'd decide to come back to the present to mourn Tony and Natasha and honor their legacies, not go back in time to a person he helped bury already mourned.
The only good thing I can say about this movie is, I'm happy Evans and Downey got such fat pay checks.
This movie doesn't feel right on any level for me.
I was beginning to think I was the only person with problems with these two. Try working at a comic book store; Every motherfucker saying it's a 10/10 because "muh feels".
Riri is pretty likable now. Bendis can have some good concepts and ideas he's just shit at executing them.
McDonald's.
I doubt he would sacrifice her. He expressed wanting to settle down with Pepper in Age of Ultron, and he dreamt of having a kid with her in Infinity War. He clearly wants a family
>abandoning his work
They revealed every night he was working on a solution after like 30 minutes into the movie
But by reading the rest of your message, you are obviously trolling so who cares.
I get you. All my social media feeds are filled with people shilling the movie as well as Tony and Steve's arcs, it's infuriating.
That's him putting his kid over every other kid who got snapped or died since the Snap because their parents and caretakers died. Tony's not that kind of selfish. It's also the Russos trying to push a "Tony's selfish, look at him die selflessly" narrative.
We've known he's selfless since Avengers 1 when he flew the nuke into the portal. It's tired.
And I didn't want him to have a marriage or kid. It's something he walked away from a long time ago.
I'm not trolling though I can admit I don't like Tony that much. He's only shown as considering the time travel hypothesis Steve and co brought back, five years later, after he accidentally sees a picture of Peter. Did I miss the part he's working on a solution?
has marvel surpassed star wars as the big cultural movie of america?
Is Ant-Man supposed to be there?
Same reason people make bait posts, (you)s aka likes
People liking something and talking about something they like isn't shilling, retard
FUCK TONY STARK!
HE MAY HAVE KILLED THANOS BUT HE SURE DID PUT THE REST OF THE UNIVERSE IN ANOTHER GREAT CRISIS BY RESTORING THE LOST 50% OF THE POPULATION THST GOT DUSTED OFF!
THANKS FOR PUTTING OUR BIODIVERSITY AND ENVIRONMENT IN HELL TONY!
FUCK YOU!
>Did I miss the part he's working on a solution?
When he talks with the AI.
t. Malthusian
>having more people
>putting biodiversity in hell
I don't think you know what that word means.
It was objectively a terrible movie.
You not liking something doesn't make it objectively terrible and even if it was people liking it STILL isn't shilling.
Stop ODing on buzzwords and memes
this is not how you spell terrifc.
What did he say?
no thanks tiny stank.
>Bad pacing, out-of-character actions, walking back on other movies, poorly landing jokes, confusing ending even the writers and directors can't agree on
It doesn't matter whether I like it or not. It was a terrible movie.
that he has been trying every night, same thing happens two scenes later with Pepper
I missed that then, I'm sorry.
That reminds me. Ineed to buy some more Uniqlo shirts.
That's fine, don't worry.
>billions of alien kids are gonna be called variations on Tony Stark/Iron Man now
Neat.
The Rat?
Yep, thanks Pym!
The mighty flash part doesn't work though.
>That's him putting his kid over every other kid who got snapped or died since the Snap because their parents and caretakers died.
I agree with everything else in your post but him sacrificing Morgan to undo the last 5 years and everyone who was born in that time wouldn't be a good option either.
Riri feels like she's shaping out be like MCU Tony, motive wise and its not a bad character development.
I sure did.
Gave him some cheese.
He changes his mind and solves it in the same night. He's wearing the same clothes as he was when they tried to convince him to help.
I think that both things you mentioned are fairly justified and in-character for the movie versions of the characters (though cap's justification is pretty weak). With Tony, he failed completely and utterly, and nothing he believed he could do would fix what happened. Note how the second he hears of a solution that may be viable, he's back to researching obsessively throughout the night until he figures out freakin' time travel, then zooms over to help fix things. As for cap, people in-universe treat him like he's some kind of superman, but he's a human too, with needs and desires. I think the only real problem is that falcon hasn't visibly proven himself capable enough for cap to entrust him with the title; if we knew falcon was being as good a leader as cap was, it'd feel more plausible for cap to leave things up to the "new generation".
Yes. THANKS HULK!
Whats not to understand about it? You pretty much just explained it
Nah he being peters father figure works in the MCU, we have already seen uncle Ben kick the bucket enough times we know that story, his sacrifice it’s as important to peters ethos as a hero as would have been his uncle
>why can’t things be like in my comics and drag forever rotting for decades instead of finishing character arcs and retiring them?
You are an idiot and I hope no one listens to you
Sure buddy, have you made your YouTube video shitting on it? Bet it will educate the masses
Tony was done with the hero business by the end of Civil War, he was questioning it since AoU. He realized it was fruitless and they did more harm than good. He was dragged back in during Infinity War. That only reinforced his belief when they all failed to stop Thanos, once he destroyed the stones that's it. There's no more Avenging they could do so he moved on. Everyone moved on. Once he heard there was a possibility to win he initially turned them away but that guilt kept him up and he solved time travel. Pepper even says he won't be able to rest if he doesn't help. Tony was willing to sacrifice everything he found post snap to do what was right. Endgame is only a 7/10 for me but Tony's arc was solid.
If you for a second believe Stark would give up on his daughter to save the universe then you are retarded. Also what did you even wanted him to do after IW? Thanos won there was nothing else to do. I don't know about Steve but Tony's arc ended on a good note
