I thought it was genuinely enjoyable. I don't understand why it was a critical failure. The visual gags and the biology jokes really kept me entertained.
What does Yea Forums think of it?

Thrax is one of the best animated villains.
Shatner was the best part.
The live-action portions kill it.
Decent movie, funny and neat but not much more than that. 10/10 movie to watch when the teacher brings in the VCR. Great villain. And overall not really forgettable, I thought I'd come into this thread having trouble recalling it but I'm still pretty familiar with most of the movie. But at the same time it's no Lion King or Beauty and the Beast.
this
yeah I don't remember those being too enjoyable
where was he?
The Kid Rock song was weird
It was all the live action parts.
Funny enough that they feel more like a crappy cartoon than the animated portions.
I think we can all agree that someone should make an edit of the movie that excises most of the Live Action segments, as they mostly suck
Directors cut that completely redos the lice action segments that cut them down when?
Are we going to talk about how insanely brutal Thrax was? That scene where he touches the WBC and he bubbles up and explodes freaked the shit out of me as a kid.

(OP here, while looking for the thread image I found out that there's waaaaaay too much fanfiction/porn of thrax than there should be. Like, r34 makes up a majority of the search results)
This. Weird how much porn of him is out there though
Echoing what the other people say, the live action parts aren't nearly as fun as the cartoon parts. The whole thing should have been animated, would have made the contrast way less jarring.
This. I usually enjoy bill murray but the movie becomes a snooze fest in every scene where he's the subject. The writing and the quality of comedy goes to shit in each and every one of these scenes. I don't understand what happened.
>where was he?
He voiced the Mayor
He's one cell of a guy!
>I don't understand what happened.
If I remember correctly, I think the live-action scenes and the animated scenes were done by completely different directors. If that's the case, it kinda shows as it has the feeling of two opposing visions clashing with one another.
I wish it was purely animated. The scenes with Bill Murray were out of place and disgusting.
I liked it, and the tv show was alright.
The pimple scene in particular
Very few other cartoons ever gave me the feeling of "holy shit, this guy could actually murder the hero and get away with it"
Don't forget the egg scene and the scene where we see Bill Murray's pregnant belly.
Thrax was OG muhfugga
Osmosis jones is one of those movies that's a perfect time capsule of the early 2000s(2000-2003), which were a trippy/weird time that was like the last breath of the 20th century, and had a mysterious/cool feel that 2004-2006 quite simply did NOT have as much.
That's because it was a transitional period from the style of the 90's
The animated half is a good movie with fun ideas and stunning animation. The live action part is boring, grotesque, and poorly paced. Literally half of a really good movie.
>Directed By: Peter Farrelly, Bobby Farrelly, Piet Kroon, Tom Sito
4 directors, holy fuck.
