You don't need to. It's pretty straightforward and enjoyable. Might be a bit more rewarding reading a few DP runs, but you can watch it with no prior knowledge.
They're not going to make a TV show about a superhero team this obscure and expect you to have read the comics first. Their audience would be minuscule if they did.
Definitley
its slowly adding more and more gay pandering so no
Don't be an MCU bandwagoner (I know this is DC but the mindset is the same). Just read the source material and stay away from the quirky and progressive live action adaptations.
It's a good show. Yes.
>The fanservice bimbo character from Two and a half somehow puts in a great performance
Guessing it won't win any emmys because of it being on a crap streaming service but it deserves some. It's genuinely been a long time since I enjoyed a series this much.
If you don't watch it then this timeline was all for nothing.
Lots of tranny, fag and YAAASS KWEEEEENNN shit, but it’s entertaining.
it has 2 episodes left
wasn't a tranny part of grant morrison's run?
You better not be talking shit about my homeblock Danny the Street.
THIS HAS FLEX???
Oh, I am watching this definitely now.
It is a really terrific show with fun and interesting characters played by competent actors and actresses.
Also Crazy Jane is there, but ignore her.
see tranny stuff is true to the source material they are pulling from instead of being forced in
Aw, come on. It's bad, but it's not Supergirl levels of homo shilling or anything like that.
Is there even a show that expect you to have read the comics before?
Yes, and the run after him add even more stuff like that, way's run too
No Beastboy?
He has TTG obligations.
And Rita is peak mommy
So what you're saying is that it's a Doom Patrol show.
I despise SJW culture and I had no issue with the portrayal of Danny the Street and all that it entails.
Come out of the closet already you repressed fag.
That's the difference between well written characters and settings, and a moronic agenda and its drone-like degenerate pushers
Also the musical number was amazing

You can watch it without reading the comics, but read the comics, they're great
I swear, if Grant's DP run came out in this day and age, the majority of this board would label it SJW without even reading it. I hope they do Rebis and have Danny the Street a central part of next season.
Of course it would, Yea Forums is hypocritical as fuck.
Not OP, but I started watching it, and I'm loving it. Are the comics this much of a bummer? Because I want more of that.
lol Amazing.
Also, I'm guessing this "agenda" and its "degenerates" are not to your liking, anons?
>Are the comics this much of a bummer?
Yup.
Kind of? I started reading Grant Morrison's run shortly before starting this show and while I think it's pretty good, I'm just not enjoying it as much as the show.
Before that I had only read the Silver Age Doom Patrol, and I loved that.
If Rebis happens, it'll be a one episode deal. It'll be the Tuvix episode of the show.
It's even better going in if you know nothing. Except that Jane is a THICC goddess
Depends on how its portrayed. Even the best of things can turn to shit if its shoved down your throat in an obnoxious manner.
What this user says.
God do I love Karen.
Why would he be in a team that is going to die when he could be in a teen with people around his age?
When are we gonna see Rita grow large?
i went in with no prior knowledge of anything related to DP (except for a few guest appearances on shit like batman the brave and the bold or young justice) and ive come out loving it
negative man best member though
no homo
There's an issue of the old DO where Larry pretends to be a baby and calls Rita his mommy just to fool some aliens into thinking humans become giants when they are adults so they get discouraged from invading Earth or something.
>homeblock Danny the Street.
THEY would prefer you say theyblock Danny the Street.
Home is not a gendered pronoun you cunt
thats kinda gay user
I remember that. Fetish implications aside, that moment was awesome because it was actually pretty smart.
They also had Cliff pretend to be a toy that Larry put together to make the aliens think that even Earth children are geniuses who build robots for fun.
April Bowlby said in an interview that she's lobbying for that in season 2.
Sooo about Cyborg Is this really where he leaves the team? Will he be back for the final battle? Or season 2?
he's dead my dude. time to move on.
I dont think so. Arrow sure as shit doesnt .... maybe Agents of Sheild?
What does the kid choose?
he ded because he made a choice
Is there a MEGA of Friday's ep?
You should watch Titans then. He gets a fucking great scene in that show
