Did anyone ever play Garfield on their Gameboy as a kid?
It was real hard to get the best ending, but I found it to be a pretty faithful adaption of the cartoon.

The effort is laudable but this is another case of trying too hard.
Imagine going to all this effort but failing at the first hurdle because you don't maintain the aspect ratio or the resolution. Why didn't he just say they were Gameboy Advance games if he insisted upon a wider screen?
It's like no one realizes why lasagna cat was unnerving or odd. People think saturating something with creepypasta bullshit is scary.
just dragged out the same shit we've already seen.
I liked some of the monster Garfield designs though.
le funnay edgy garfield XD
I probably found Garfield's 'realistic' form the most disturbing
>gameboy
>uses non gameboy sounds
Cheer up.
neat
>Two Weeks Before The Incident
>not Two Weeks Before MONDAY
wasted opportunity
still a cool vid tho
I'm confused, I seen a game that looks like this, but it doesn't have those cutscenes.
>Nermal works for the government
>it's not a game, just pixel art
>someone makes a game based on this art
>it's generic garbage and not creepy at all
Fuck me...
It'd be possible with enough autism
Good monster designs, but Edgy Garfield would've been better in the 2000's or maybe really early 2010's at the latest. It feels kinda passe now.
It's made by a zoomer that never had a game boy in his hands and makes pixel art just for the aesthetic
Definitely a bit edgy at times, but I really dig the overall atmosphere.
Only the last 10 minutes of Lasagna Cat were unnerving though.
This makes me extremely hard.
Edgy Garfield could be great if you leaned into it.
The Felix the Cat video game actually did have an extremely disturbing image in it's game over screen.
>posting overdone garfield horror
>instead of the same artist's magnum opus
youtu.be
that was an unlicensed russian bootleg
Such a shame to see these pixels mangled so. You probably have 100 KB worth of pixel art "compressed" into a 101 MB artifact-laden mess.
And the artist doesn't even provide a non-youtube way to play it raw? What a waste.
>posting overdone garfield horror
Who really did this other than this guy? I'm curious
>All these snobs replying
"OOooo, This meme isn't up to my so refined standards. Please have the butler press dislike for me."
Because normies don't give a shit about any of this.
A surrealist horror retro pixel art video.
You gotta be some sort of snob to be into this.
>TLTR: no u
I'm sorry that no one thought your pixel art-school project was scary.
I remember that story, still laughing at Garfield fucking Natile Portman
When you have too many memes, you end up having standards created
Ironic Garfield memes are at the point now where they’re ironically more unoriginal and lazy than the source material itself.
We’ve reached a point where the people you’re calling “snobs” are reacting the same way to these videos as normal people react to Garfield: these are bland, unfunny, and generic”
Not that guy, but seriously, fuck off. You're the same kind of people who unironically support MCU trash and generic capeshit dumpsterfires. You have absolutely no standards to speak of.
>You don't like muh garfield project therefore you like MCU and le Yea Forums memeword
Pathetic desperation
can you do better?
... I liked it, OP.
user, fairly certain nobody in this thread is Lumpy. I doubt he gives two shits about us. And certainly not enough to partake in shitflinging with a mongoloid like you.
t. Lumpy
The thing that peeves me is that it's not a perfect playthrough and we haven't seen any gameplay
my inner completionist is crying
Nobody in this thread can. That's the whole reason why the shitposters are screeching. Because they're damned to irrelevancy on a Taiwan cupcake-baking forum.
More brandy with your snuff, Lord?
Fuck you guys the Lyman post-credits reveal was kino
Yeesh, you're at least best friends with this guy.
Do you think you can tell him to do something original next time instead of relying on dead memes as a crutch? Like, what's next, a Shrek project?
Cope.
"Lighthearted thing is actually edgy" is a bit played out. It's like Bendy's, or Mario eating mushrooms and getting high.
Props to the pixel art, but it's an old joke at this point and I don't think the guy even made the original drawings.
>Garfield keeping Jon alive inside of him
genuinely distressing
You're right. I feel the same way.
Consider that actual gameplay-style footage would take more than sliding an image along a background. It'll never happen.
You know what? I don't hate this shit.
>tfw you forget to collect the items in the right order and Nermal shoots Liz for the Garf-Virus vaccine
this game was such bullshit
looks nothing like a gameboy game, but still really damn cool
Is he alive? He looks like he's missing the entire lower half of his body. And seeing what happened to Owie, Garfield might just digest him eventually.
I think it's a play on some pixel art that has been floating around for a while now.
It's worth it for the Abu Dhabi post-credits scene. Blew my mind when I first saw it.
It's still lighthearted in an absurdist way, as while there's gruesome cosmic horror stuff it's clearly meant to be humorous when contrasted with the banality Garfield.
it's more popular than you'd think
tfw garfield is a literal shitposter.
>gameboy game
>loading screens
wut
>ITT: Asshurt drawfags jealous they can't do anything better or even close to the vid.
Ok, Lumpy
Didn't KC Green do one, too?
The vid has great art but the subject matter is overdone and passed its prime. It’s like if Michelangelo painted a beautiful picture of Peter Griffin and Sans, it would still be yet another ironic picture of Peter Griffin and Sans.
Well, I mean, there's a Monday every week.
Cringe
The “the world is ending” “bullets don’t work” “I require lasagna” and “I can smell you” segments are traces of drawings by will burke. Everything else, I believe, is original artwork.
Got a Junji Ito feel to it, I like it.
No it doesn't. More of a John Carpenter feel.
Well that too, with some designs more that others, yeah I'd agree.
