Book was announced in 2007, but not solicited because Gennedy had a day job and since it's not in continuity, they let him complete it whenever he wanted. He got busy with other things until he basically forgot about it. Someone on twitter asked about it years later, and Gennedy said he didn't even know who to call at Marvel since his old editor no longer worked there. Brevoort saw it and got in touch with him, and he finally finished it 9 years later.
