Let's just talk about 2099

Where would you like to start?

>Cyberpunk AU
>no Iron Man title
>not even a mention of whatever the hell happened to Stark, apart from the Fujikawa merger
Literally why?

weird how they just started talking about Iron Man 2099 after the hype of it

Because at the time Iron Man wasn't popular enough for them to care, I guess?

Well, we had this one at least. Next year, bros, he is the real reason Stark died in Endgame

>>not even a mention of whatever the hell happened to Stark, apart from the Fujikawa merger

There was very little mention of what happened to most of the older big heroes, because some mysterious event happened at the end of the "heroic age" when all the heroes disappeared and in-universe nobody really knew much about it.

Stark's not Spider-Man though, he was CEO of a conglomerate.

I hope 2099 isn't in Limbo like Ultimate and others. I really liked Venom 2099's design

Will based Zeroman ever be acknowledged by Marvel again?

He was in the Secret Wars Ghost Rider book.

>Wolverine 2099
>Mandarin 2099
I think I’ve talked about these ideas before, but does anybody here care?

fuck him
we don't need to see the same 3 niggers all the time

sure, this is probably the only time you'll ever get to this summer

lets here the mandarin one
also wasn't wolverine already in 2099, or am I going crazy?

>wasn't wolverine already in 2099
I don’t know.
My idea for a 2099 Mandarin is a chinese vampire on a hovercraft who absorbs life by jabbing his fingers into a victim.

He's also the real reason that Tony was made into an adopted kid in the comics, expect Tony to be reckoned back into blood Stark in 2021.

>Tony was made into an adopted kid in the comics
I forgot this was a thing.
>*looks up the comic this happens in*
>>Bendis
Why am I not fucking surprised?

Does that include the Secret Warps version of 2099?

X-Men 2099 is some good shit. I really love the feel of the book being set out in the post-apocalyptic west (I think) with it really being a non-team of characters largely off doing their own things before slowly converging back together.

Really gives it a different vibe from all the other cyberpunk cape books of the line.

Okay, can somebody confirm if there was already a Wolverine 2099 or not?

I thought Gillen started the shit with Tony's parents not being his parents.

wait that fucking happened? That looks cool as hell

Doom 2099 was the only 2099 book I followed all the way through.

The last few issues were utter shit, though.

It's weird reading Warren Ellis' early stuff without Doom going into murdering things with pointy bits.
