Do Americans really do this? Dress prepubescent children scantily and force them to perform adult dances
Why do you think cheerleading is such a popular "sport" for little girls in the U.S.?
i was thinking about the opening the other day. i might rewatch it.
Cringe and bluepilled
They have child beauty pageants. Americans are fucked in the head.
>Americans
Hawaiians are our adopted children.
But yes, we love doing shit like this.
>scantily
they have put fucking TOPS on little girls. TOPS. on something which, for thousands of years, was done only in a skirt. this is what's perverted.
Yeah children are fucking ugly, they shouldnt feel beautiful.
actually the fucked part is we have pageants primarily for girls, when showing off visually is for males. but whatever. if they weren't practically burqafied, people wouldn't be so starving to see them
Why the fuck does Chris sanders think girls only come in two ages: chubby infant and wasp-waisted tittymonster?
lilo is meant to be 3 years older by the last movie and she's still like 20 inches tall.
Best girl
That's more the fault of lazy status quo character design.
What are you fucking Ned Flanders?
You guys have not had girls before have you
Girls almost from birth have a built in insecurities about there looks "are they beautiful" or not and do boys look at them as such. The other part of it is little girls like playing with make up. So maybe you can say there exploiting there emotions.
Milf?
She looks like she has down syndrome.
I was really hoping she'd grow out of that.
Teenager
I've been driving myself nuts trying to figure out what it is about this that bothers me.
She doesn't have lips.
posting better Adult Lilo design
yeah the lack of lips is definitely a mistake
FUCKING HAOLES
What is there even to do in Hawaii aside from make the locals angry and get sunburnt?
Hula is a oral tradition in the form of a dance. The chant and the dance tell stories from their history and their myth. It's something beautiful that rose due to the lack of a written language and isn't something to jerk off to.
it's a good redesign overall, but it feels oddly drab nonetheless
might be the generic physique she's drawn with, Lilo feels like she's the kind of girl who'll either grow up to be very curvy or very /fit/
Yes. We should never have never perverted their traditions with our puritanical beliefs, and allowed them to continue doing it topless without shame.
Recently watched this for the second time (first time as an adult) and holy shit is this good. Everything about it is just so damn perfect.
>Americans
No, those assholes came there, made everyone wear clothes, worship a Jewish carpenter, and killed anyone who didn't agree. The little girls dancing was a thing before that.
It ain't shit compared to the hiphop dancing little girls do now with full on twerking. Truly horrible.
Lilo and Stitch is the type of movie I thought was just kind of fun as a kid but makes me unapologetically tear up as an adult. Lilo and Nani's relationship is so sincere that I don't even think the sci-fi half of the movie was really needed.
He's referring to shit like child beauty pageants.
Also here's a good video about that

This is literally hawaiin culture
>I don't even think the sci-fi half of the movie was really needed.
Why do people keep saying this?
because it’s true
Because the older I got the more I appreciated the family situation between the two sisters and the grounded conflict with a social worker that was just trying to do right by a child under troubled circumstances.
The alien characters aren't inherently bad, they just don't really build off of that core dynamic as much as I would have liked, and apparently Disney kept forcing the director to lighten up when he tried to be more serious with them.
>and apparently Disney kept forcing the director to lighten up when he tried to be more serious with them.
honestly that's probably for the best, a lot of the deleted stuff we have access to is honestly a little too heavy, the final product we got strikes a good balance overall between the heavy moments and the funny ones
Don't get me wrong, the sisterhood's the heart of the movie, but it's ultimately a story about becoming part of a family while nearly tearing it apart in the process.
You forgot the part where they destroyed their entire culture to make sweet sweet Dole pineapple money.
bump
Hike diamondhead then island hop to look at the crater that used to be a lake of lava until it all drained out a couple years ago?
I'd go for the biodiversity and hiking but that just me.
Yes why do Americans
no, Americans aren't that based
>I don't even think the sci-fi half of the movie was really needed.
Nah, would have been boring as shit.
Wow, these should be against international law. I want to fucking vomit.
Those are some sexy children.
Still think it needs a porn parody with a 18 year old lilo
with danny davito as stitch?
What are everyone's thoughts on the two spinoffs from the east?
Don't know which one I saw but I wrote it off when I saw that the main girl wasn't Lilo.
Neat
It’s beautiful scenery and the food can be good, if you know what to look for.
only if it's live action
>I'll never be able to get a job and live out there unless I'm willing to lose half my salary I get in the boring midwest.
You can’t afford to live there unless you’re:
A) the 1% of the 1%.
B) part of an extended Filipino family under one roof that makes the Loud House look roomy.
I wanna live there too.
