What I really like about this arc is that they've only been in this time-dilated dome thing for a few months and yet they're all sporting the haircuts and outfits of a fallen-civilisation/post-apocalyptic society already. A mere sixty days from downtown urban Manhatten to The Wasteland.
Doesn't really say a lot about the writer's confidence in how women would run things. Perhaps she's seen all those gender-split Survivor shows where the womens' island looks like a trash pit after a couple of weeks and nothing gets built so the producers have to step in to save them.
