GO! cartoons

One of those is going to become a show soon, say something nice about some of the shorts you enjoyed.

Wow, they all look like ass.

What the fuck happened?

Frederator trying to get it's new "Adventure Time".

What is this 2012? The era of AT is finally ending. Get with the fucking program, Fred.

I only remember the bunny and the cat girl ones

Just like most people.

I liked The Summoning the most, and at least 50% of my enjoyment was based on the obvious waifufagging. The other 50% was the "2010's Cartoon Network" vibe it so perfectly captured. I can't really put into words how it does that, but it literally felt like a CN executive had been behind Elyse Castro when she produced it. It was the most Cartoon Network show I've ever seen, and it's not even on Cartoon Network (yet?) Not saying that's a good thing, but holy shit, to be able to do that as a small production I find incredibly impressive.

Rachel and Her Grandfather Control the Island was my second placer. It's the most whimsical and self-mocking one. It perfectly walks the "uncomfortable" line while still being enjoyable and amusing. If it is developed a little bit more, I could see myself enjoying this much more than The Summoning.

Both Brothers is my third. I enjoy the "dumb and smart, but best buds" dynamic of the brothers, and the idea of them being able to make dramatic changes to the world using cartoon logic. I see a lot of potential there for flapjack-like plots.

I honestly barely remember the others; too unoriginal, or too generic, with no real hook to get me invested. I should probably watch them all again to make sure I'm not missing a gem.

What is it with all the demon (or whatever) MCs lately?

>I should probably watch them all again to make sure I'm not missing a gem.
You are not missing any gems, IMO.
But seeing them again does no harm.

Capturing 10's Cartoon Network is not a good thing. We've already got our fill of those.

They are cute.

I can't say any of them were really good. The best in my opinion was the one about the stoner roommates locked in their own house, but it was at best just okay. The Summoning seems like it may win, but I feel like it's mainly getting by through waifushit, the short itself was not very good.
I honestly don't know if I should regret not pitching a short when they were taking them or not. This whole thing doesn't seem to be going well, the shorts came out later than they were supposed to and I feel like it's been forever since they've come out and it still seems like we've gotten no word on which one is getting picked. I'm pretty sure Cartoon Hangover didn't take this long to announce Bee and Puppycat so why is GO?

>I liked The Summoning the most
Most people did, it's the 9th most watched video on that Channel.

>I'm pretty sure Cartoon Hangover didn't take this long to announce Bee and Puppycat
They did and they took even longer to release the series after the Kickstarter and most people hated it.

Is it actually confirmed?

Attached: IMG_4635.png (894x894, 1.12M)

I don't think anything's been confirmed. They could've just abandoned the whole thing for all we know.

The Summoning was awful, unfunny, poorly animated shit. People only like it because they waifu the catgirl and that's pathetic.

Welcome to Doozy was just as bad.

Out of all of them, I kind of enjoyed Tyler & Co. It's my favorite dude weed lmao kind of short

But Claire is cute.

Everything you said was true yet I will still watch it for fap material and so will you.

If they made Claire less random and more of a subdued maniac, barely kept in check by her own conscience, that would be cool. Like Hannibal Lecter but a good guy.

I think that's what happened. None of them was "good enough" for a 50'ish male room of financial executives.

Therefore, they decided to greenlight the first Calarts Style garbage that appeared on the door

Yes, and?

Attached: 641df772d34ddceed1dd99b15159d72a.png (2400x1895, 3.45M)

Pretty much this

There's nothing wrong with that tho.

What is this satanic shit

Claire.

tfw no stinky satantic cat gf

But on the bright side, no toxoplasmosis.

Since welcome to doozy isn't going to be a show, I kind of want to make a lewd fancomic where the happy, pure, and vapid attitude slowly erodes into sad, dirty, and depressing misery. I want to see what characters who've basically been cock blocked out of having their adventures would do, as if the magical protagonist force that kept them safe disappeared and pulled the rug under them into a world of harshness. I want to see how they'd evolve after going through grim dark stuff. Maybe their friendship would be stronger than ever. Maybe they'd never want to see eachother again. Maybe they'd just grow apart. Imagine that kind of pathos for what are basically hello kitty characters.

Would you read that?

I will.

scribd.com/document/369824639/IF-Land-Pitch#

Found the original pitch for doozy

Yes, it sure was something.

Worse shit has been put on television.

Attached: Claire 49.jpg (814x2048, 164K)

Well ya got me there. OKKO, SU, AT and Star Vs. are all worse than a pilot where one character eats dandruff and the other eats rabbit feces as the punchline. That isn't elevating The Summoning any, but I appreciate the perspective.

Everything currently airing on CN for example.

Wood elf

Smug wood elf.

Attached: Smug Wood elf.jpg (848x819, 120K)

Deleted wood elf.

Probably not. It sounds okay in concept, but you need to know how to write and have experience under your belt to make that story a good one.

Check your Dissenter.

No, you check it!

No dumb-ass it's a secret thread in every url that you access using an add-on called dissenter.

It's trying to replicate AT like what a cartoon was trying to replicate Ren and Stimpy.

Considering What A Cartoon gave us some of the best cartoons Cartoon Network ever produced, even better than Ren & Stimpy, I'd say Go Cartoons failed spectacularly.

I do hope you're joking.

I'm not.

Attached: ZDEZ.png (2950x506, 2.28M)

Huh, I never noticed how many ass shots there were. Ass aside, it was a good show.

So you hate fun. Got it

What A Cartoon! had actual artists and writers like John K vetting it. GO! cartoons is being vetting by executives.

Nah, just propaganda.

Shit taste.

I HATE the Calarts same face memes, but aside from ALL of those characters look like they are from the same show.

So you don't watch cartoons and just shitpost on Yea Forums. Got it

youtube.com/watch?v=HfrPf9IgHjI
Manly was better than all this shit.

Bunn

Wood Elfcat.

None of these are worthy. 6 pilots and there all garbage

>and there all garbage

So is your grammar.

Frederator is stuck in 2010.

I pitched something to them back in 2014, but seeing the crap they're churning out, I don't feel too bad about being rejected...

2010 was a pretty okay year, all things considered. The fall of... everything had still only begun, and we had the wonderful delusion of hope to keep us going.

Crossover when?

Attached: 1516249810913.png (1285x877, 248K)

The fact that Claire looks like a cat but is a "wood elf" never sat right with me. Before the thread dies, I bump with a sort of fusion between cat and elven features.
The same day we receive a 5th Metalocalypse season.

Attached: cancer april 2019-2-5.png (716x1056, 225K)

2010 wasn't actually the fall, it was the patch of cartoons CN put out in 2013.

2010 was actually a really great year, especially compared to the late 2000s longass stretch of fucking nothing

Please be the satanic witch cat
Please be the satanic witch cat
Please be the satanic witch cat
Please be the satanic witch cat
Please be the satanic witch cat

Did they give you a reason for why they rejected you?

The things that this guy has drawn redefined what I think of as hardcore porn.

I hope it's Thrasin' USA.

Everyone of these shows doesn't have what it needs to be a real series. They hold up well as shorts but they are limited in scope.

tyler and co was the only good one. that shit was chill n tight.
everything else was hot amature garbage.
but lets face it, summoning's gonna be made into a series before anything else cause it took the web by storm for having a hot cat girl.
tyler and co has a hot pizza girl but ok

Many modern cartoonists are doodle artists whose primary story telling experience comes from simple drawn comics with very simplistic humor, often meant for internet posting.

What a Cartoon was driven by many cartoonists with a lot of technical skill under their belt DESPERATELY trying to get out of the rut of 70's and 80's cartoons by emulating the golden age of cartoons but on a TV budget.

The shirt is so nicely colored but the skirt is a confusing mess.

I think the skirt's material is supposed to be crinkled, not smooth.

the most popula in view terms because of furry waifus

It's been a while, but I think they said it wasn't marketable enough, or it didn't have a hook, or something.

Which in retrospect I think means lacking a gimmick, because the shorts I've seen from them are super-gimmicky.

This one looks the most like an actual cartoon

I'll have you know the WBB guy worked at pixar, and CG studios are retardedly hard to get into

It's very possible to work at an elite place and waste your time not advancing your abilities as an artist and writer. I doubt everyone who sets foot in and out of Dreamworks, Pixar, Disney, etc is a god-tier artist and storyteller.

Clearly with how beyond boring WBB is, his time at Pixar was ill-spent.

It's a very successful one, particularly in asia, so he must have done something right

>Successful means it's good

Then I guess Michael Bay is one of the most masterful directors to ever grace the big screen.

Of course it is, it's literally ripping off another show that had a decent sized fanbase over there.

How are they similar?

>Slice of life cozy cartoon featuring a panda, grizzly bear, and polar bear as they interact with humans as if they're not animals while going on silly, harmless adventures

It’s got potential, though I was fond of the rabbit show too.

She's a wood elf by beastkin standards similar to how we can view elves as humans with really pointy ears

If we lived in a fair and just world, Tyler & Co would get picked up, because it was genuinely hilarious.
In the realistic world we live in, The Summoning seems the most likely to get picked up, because of waifufags

Attached: 1234123412.jpg (1920x1081, 579K)

Wait, the cartoon is based on a book.
Which came first?

i literally said the same thing glad somebody agrees

>6 pilots
Want to know how I know you watched none of them?
