Think about it: Aside from Carmen herself, Player is the most mysterious of the protagonists. It would make sense - and be dramatic - if he proved to have a connection with A.C.M.E. similar to how Carmen has a connection to V.I.L.E.

Pretty damn solid, albeit its no masterpiece. Excelent visuals and the storyline is simple, but entertaining enough. Its a considerable departure of the classic Carmen Sandiego format however, I'd suggest you to watch 3 or 4 episodes and then decide for yourself
It is very much around the world and you get to see tons of locations, its just the fights and big action scenes tend to happen indoors when they are stealing shit or stopping an evil plan. During the bulk of the episodes the locations are highlighted, its just the climaxes that have a tendensy to happen inside buildings.
Not always though, there are a bunch of street and rooftop fights and car chases.
