I am sort of a Captain Marvel fan. The character interests me, but the stories she’s involved with in her solo run just does not.
I really enjoyed the Captain Marvel movie. Part of the reason I like the Marvel Studios films is that they give me a voice I can associate with characters in my head when I’m reading comics. I have a hard time putting Brie Larson’s voice to how Captain Marvel is usually drawn.
Either way, I don’t hate the character and don’t understand the feverish hate people do have.

I mean, it's obvious the only reason anyone raves about the old costume is because they think it's a form of rebellion against SJWs, but I've genuinely always thought that it was dull and uninspired. Like you said, the red Warbird era suit is much more dynamic, and I still believe that the new costume is good on a fundamental level and that the issue is that they either draw it with too much tacticool detail or they make her look like an actual man wearing it.
