Not much to go on to really think much of it to begin with. Other than the admittedly fun and well animated intro, a couple of okay-looking unfinished animations, and a bunch of concept art, we have nothing to go on.
All we know is that a lot of people want to fuck Miko, a few people want to fuck Five, and the creator is the guy behind Fanboy and Chumchum, who apparently spent the last 10 years honing his artistry to a significantly impressive degree. Whether that means his writing is any better is yet to be seen.
I'm hoping if nothing else that it'll be a fun show. Even if it ends up kinda bland, it'd just be nice to have an honest-to-God action cartoon on TV again. Or at least one that isn't an adaptation of some Marvel or DC property, at any rate. Would be nice if it's entertaining beyond action, though.

Though it's also possible it's a mix of two or more different artists' influences.

I don't even hate the show, but everyone knows that's bullshit. I still blame the CN scheduling which caused them to change the way the show was written to suit the "bomb" format more appropriately, which was the reason we got such poor pacing.

Sure, we all agree that Season 4 was the worst (it had several of the show's weakest episodes), but it still had many great episodes that either continued exploring Steven's journey in understanding his mother's true identity, or just took a breather with standalone Beach City episodes, like the show has always done since Season 1. I think that user was referring to the "CalArts blobs" that many modern cartoons have resorted to when it comes to character designs (ThunderCats Roar was bashed for this), which is still bullshit since Gravity Falls and Steven Universe made very good use of shapes and silhouettes to define the characters just through their designs. And those are just two of the 2010s's most notable examples; we also have OK K.O.!, The Loud House, Rise of the TMNT, Victor and Valentino, and probably a few more. Strong character design theory is not dead in TV animation.
