It's not their fault, it's the siren song of patriarchy what does it. They need a strong ally like Tats to show them the error of their ways, obviously.

Ishida has never really been a "feminist" in the way that like your average Tumblr user is feminist. He hates porn and he hates trans people and that's kind of the beginning and the end of where his feminism lies. There's never been a Sinfest comic about abortion/birth control or the wage gap or homophobia, for instance. Sinfest, bucking the trend of every other webcomic ever, doesn't even have a lesbian in it, with Monique/Tange being hinted but never explicitly stated.

So it's entirely based on his own personal hangups.

Even the Sinfest fanbase was starting to get weirded out by him. Last year he literally banned his entire forum, and made his own his forum, without blackjack and hookers, and only like five people are allowed to post because he's checking IPs or some shit and blocking anyone who used to use his own forum.

That's just a common theory that people post as speculation; it's not any kind of confirmed fact. He's a very private person and doesn't share details about his personal life on the internet. It's unclear what happened to him and why he ended up like this.

What jumps at me is how dated this is. The "Everyone gets their own custom sexuality" fad ended years ago, and all these different types of people are under the umbrella term "queer" partially because the acronym was getting absurd and partially because some of these tumblr sexualities were clearly just fucking with people (I think the emergence of "sapiosexual" is when a lot of tumblr started turning on that trend) and making a catch-all was a good way to sidestep fighting over who's real and who isn't.

If you're immersed in 2019 SJW culture, even if you hate it, this isn't the kind of comic you'd make to mock it. You'd make this kind of comic if you were reading about SJW culture second-hand from Yea Forums.
