OP's pic obviously not related

Not every good film needs a sequel. A good film can tell a story from beginning to end, and warrant no continuation on the original premise.

Obligatory.

When are you gonna post one?

they have more material they can adapt

it got a sequel

ok op, you can start now

Good. Megamind was a self-contained story. It doesn't need a sequel.

This movie was good
>HURR DURR IT'S NOT BOOK FAITHFUL
No one cares book nerds.

No it didn't

It's still impressive how well the animation holds up today, like damn. I don't know how the did it, cause the animation in Happy Feet aged like milk.

Really? Happy Feet still looks pretty good imo

Also does anyone know why these dancing penguin movies from 2006 and 2011 have "realistic" visuals that makes Pixar look like moldy bread

yes it did

it was awful

Relevant.

Good?
No.
Visually entertaining?
Yes.

What is worse is that the movie did not adapt the real sequel.

Wasn't the plot of this "humans built a dam and it's slowly flooding our valley. Also let's make some chocolate mints cause that's delicious."

That's literally all I remember.

More or less. Did you read the third?

Nah I don't even recall reading the first, just going "oh sure let's read this" for the 2nd.

Try Mouse Guard.

Aristocats
pretty much every other disney movie got shitty sequel

Aristocats was just a ripoff of 101 Dalmations with cats instead of dogs and set in France instead of England.

>it isn’t even really good
Lost it right there

This movie wasn't the best in terms of a book adaptation but it was very unique and I loved it visually and it remains a guilty pleasure.

Read all of those. Trying to find physicals without resorting to Amazon too much.
Shame them and Archaia in general stopped having FCBD issues.

It was SO fucking classy to see a free hardback book.

Do you like Redwall?

Tfw this is Snyder's best film

What is the competition?

>Dalmations

You had one job.

The midair swordfights were kino, I loved the usage of fire lighting.

300 was okay

OwO What is this?

I never got the love for Megamind. They didn't really do all that much with the "villain trying to be good" angle and the romance didn't have a lot of chemistry.

Only for the memes.

Was this adapted?

>kino

I saw this movie once. My little brother was watching it on HBO. It looked fucking boring.

You should have told your little brother to watch better movies.

I didn't know it was a book.
I had to tap out after 10 minutes because the dialogue was unbearable.

Felidae.

Happy Feet was released on my Birthday.

NO FUCKING WAY.
