I get it Vaught America just cares about profits from merchandising, but how has it none of them have looked into how physically incapable of help most of them are, even the good ones.
Ennis REALLY should have thrown the badguys a bone and shown them actually doing some shit from time to time, just to make them a more credible threat.

I'm thinking Brit comics reference. There was a comic called The Dandy, another called The Beezer (the barman's name), and another called The Topper (the drug boss was referred to as "Mr. Topper" by one of the mooks). There's probably more but my knowledge of Brit Comics is essentially nonexistent -- I've read some of The Beano storytimed on Yea Forums, and I'd heard the name The Dandy, and read a tiny amount of Dan Dare.
