Is Hickman's run any good? I remember starting it, but getting bored with constant repetition of certain phrases. Same as he did in other books, i.e. Shield. "Celestial Math" got stale fast.

imo is probably the best avengers run in the last decade also is pretty self contained in both books. Only the Infinity event is "required" reading since the what happens there is somewhat important later on. but it's pretty good. sure he kinda shat the bed with Secret Wars but the buildup is good. IMO New Avengers is more character driven and Avengers is more action oriented so it's a good balance
