because the show has become more reliant on facial and slapstick humor. Its too bad they fall back on it so much, because there are genuinely funny moments and they can make good comedy when they try but they only try like 50% of the time.

while what you say is true she did have a character shift after season 3. She became a bit sillier and more confident with herself. Like messing around with Gumball online and shit. I agree with a lot of what you said.
I think there was a change with Penny but her becoming almost irrelevant really. Everything that the first three seasons built up seems sort of meaningless considering how some of her latest appearances is her being pissed at Gumball mistreating her.

This is one of the few shows that has more normal art then pron. The Tumblr ban didn't retroactively delete all that art. Nothing new is coming out but tumblr is still the place to go.
Yeah, she had potential but lost momentum. Should have had at least 4 or 5 episodes a season instead of 12 across 250. At least her single note is a prime one.

I don't know anything about a movie. It might just be extended final episodes that take up an hour that they call a movie, but I don't think theres gonna be a movie
I think that is the reveal. Banana Barbara and Rob know that now, in The Future Rob is trying to change the future cause he knows the show is ending soon. I don't know what the endings gonna be but I'd say its probably gonna just be a two parter about separating their world from ours and avoiding being sucked into the void. The thing is with it though is that even adventure time had some buildup (one episode but it was meant to be a full season). Not including the void episodes and rob there was only 1 hint to the ending and the 4th wall stuff and that was in season 3. They could do something good, like what the did with the disaster and the rerun, but I'm thinking the show may just kind of end on this last adventure. Backed up by the writers hinting about the characters future post-show in a few episodes, cause they know people won't be happy without some closure which we won't be getting in the finale.

tl;dr its gonna be an average series end

This is sad. TAWOG is one of my favorite shows and I believe it could be so much more better or at least was capable of having a great finale.

Yeah, pulls in about a third of what it used too and is nothing compared to titans so they're killing it. Not a bad way to go out though, its ending on a high-ish note without being drawn out and in modern cartoons thats about all you can ask for.

Half the reason I like the show is cause of the childhood relationships. I just wish I lived in a comfy town with a bunch of friends who've been in school together all our lives.

I had a really close group of friends when I was really young and after 5 years together I moved away to a different country. I visited them once a couple years later and they were all still literally best friends for life, and were all still in the same class and were starting to mix with the girls group and had girl friends and shit. I on the other hand had moved every year since then and never got a solid group of friends and now I only have two or 3 people outside of work and family who I still keep up with. A piece of advice for anyone on here, move around as little as possible cause its gonna fuck your kid up if they aren't an extreme social butterfly.

The show reminds me of those good times and kinda lets me think back to what could have been. I hurts quite a lot.

The art direction has impacted me by using whatever I want in my art, and I’ve seen it leave an impression on others as well. I just think, maybe, most people are inspired without noticing the source.

I don’t really like that fujoshit state of mind nor yaoi, but I kinda enjoy Gumball/Hot Dog Guy or Gumball/Rob more than Gumball/Penny. He seems to have more chemistry with those 2 guys rather than with her.
