Yeah the animation for this show switches every other episode it seems. At least they switched to the more smooth one bot the choppy one.

The character animation in this episode looked like absolute ass, super stiff and lifeless even when the characters were emoting.

If you enjoyed the movie, the show pretty much continues the story with great action scenes (with sometimes poor animation) and Kim Possible-esque humor.

Honestly I hope that Wasabi, Go Go and Honey all get upgrades this season

Actually yes. It's a damned shame close to no one actually watches it, but as a follow up to the movie it's pretty darn good. Sure the 2D animation holds no candle to the original stuff, and they're getting a little more softer in sci-fi but character moments, the plot, much of the humor, and how people work off each other is fantastic. The couple of voice actor changes were either indistinguishable in the case of Fred, or straight improvements.

Not as good as Tangled, the series mind you, but still in the top 3 currently running cartoons at Disney and top 10 overall current running cartoons.
