Why did you do that, mate?

Because happy endings are better.

>She touches her own face at the end

Wait, so she'll be okay, right?

RIGHT?!

I'm going to do this one as well.

The story is a refrence to "the little matchstick girl" so I doubt it.

Oh fuck man

This one too, so stay tuned.

My god what an ugly story. I kept hoping for a punchline, but it just ends with Peter's widow bullying a mentally ill woman for absolutely no reason. "Remember that meaningless act of hysteria you pulled forty years ago? Fuck you, my husband died today."

Would have been better to end it here

I was hoping that she got kidnapped or something, or ended up in the hospital due to a crime kerfuffle. Then the story would end with her looking at the restraining order and wondering why Spider-Man never came.

I don’t see a mental illness. I think you’re throwing something out that isn’t there.
This story seems more about angered narcissism in a society that accepts it. She ends up alone because of it, not because of being mentally ill. This story only works if you know how New Yorkers feel about Spider-Man & if you know Spider-Man altogether.
The ending could be up to interpretation, but if we the readers know about Spider-Man, then we can tell that Spidey’s an altogether fine person. MJ mouthing off to someone who criminalized her husband is very in character, even though Peter would’ve ignored it.

>I don’t see a mental illness. I think you’re throwing something out that isn’t there.
It's literally a DSM classified mental illness named erotomania.

Yeah, it's kinda shit. Very "MY ENEMIES ARE TERRIBLE PEOPLE THEY ARE WORTHLESS GARBAGE. TAKE THAT YOU ARE OLD AND ALONE AND DID NOTHING WITH YOUR WHOLE LIFE."

lolwat

Holy shit Meteor Dude!

Is this like the Little Matchstick Girl but with Spiderman?
