Hey, what if we made Bojack Horseman but 60% less funny and with annoying unlikable characters?

I like it, feels less up its own ass like Bojack

Visually looks good, but DUDE VAGINAS FUCK MEN LMAO is not my style.

so that's where all the scrapped bojack plant-headed people designs went.

I got the impression that it was mostly aimed at women (though the creators dispute otherwise), is that the case?

Just watched the first ep. It’s more whacky than BoJacky.

Yes but it's not afraid to make the characters realize that some of their major problems are their own faults.

It's not aimed at you

It's made for the majority of the population that you're not a part of

I would honestly say they're both more likeable than Bojack.
Yes, even Tuca.

Who’s it for? I’m not OP, but I see where he’s coming from. Even though I’m still gonna give the show a chance (I’m only on the first episode), I still don’t think it’s all that great. Doesn’t really live up to the precedent BoJack set so far, though I guess I’ll see if it picks up.

Women

But I am a woman.

Anywhere a guy without netflix can dl this show?

Then this show is aimed at you.

Fun little idea, but by the show's universe's rules that means every single tree, moss, strand of grass, potted plant, vegetable etc. would have to get a human body

It's meant for fatter, whiter women.

I’m pretty white and fat, but I do guess I could go whiter and fatter. Good point.

Did anyone else's mom ever told them about the time they were molested? I feel like a lot of people, but especially women, were molested back in the day.

Well it’s gonna have to do better.

He's trying to bitch about SJWs but is being weirdly coy about it. He does this every so often and I don't know why

Wait, what is this? New Bojack?

Aaron Long was working on it, so I plan on watching the show anyhow.

>white and fat and on Yea Forums
owo

Wackier bojack

>New Bojack
It's really different from Bojack. More upbeat you could say, the relationship are solidly built on love and trust and you can feel that.

I personally think it does a pretty good job but I'm a guy.

have you actually watched it

It’s Whacky BoJacky.

>I could go whiter
explain

Maybe they'll use mayonnaise as a fry sauce because ketchup is too spicy

I feel like maybe white people shouldn’t be as poor as I am. But, maybe I’m just white trash?

>white trash and on Yea Forums
>and an actual racist
OwO

>FUCK MEN
But it doesn't have that.

I think it is, but that didn't stop me from enjoying it.

>60% less funny
that would imply Bojack is even remotely funny

Watched the first episode, and while Tuca was too much at times, it was fun

No, uh

I really tried to give this a chance, skirted Yea Forums just until I could watch the first episode so my opinion wasn't shifted whatsoever

I couldn't fucking stand the first episode. What the actual fuck is this show. It really isn't that funny and the characters are just either "whatever" or below "meh"

I don’t know which “they” is meant by the “them” here, but either way, my mom has done both. My mom both told my sister about the time she (she being my sis) was molested in early childhood long after she had forgotten about it, and my mom has told me about the time she (meaning my mom) was molested. Apparently my mom was bullied or coerced into sucking off a couple of her brother’s friends in a garage when she was like twelve. I have no idea why she told me this, and my mother and uncle are both dead now so I can’t ask them about it. I was never molested, but back when I was a teenager I used to wish I had been, because my mom would tell me I didn’t have any right to have an anxiety disorder because I’d never been raped and I needed to cut out refusing to come home until two or three in the morning so I could sit on a park bench to avoid being around people.

My mom was never molested but she did talk to me about how she was sexually harassed quite a bit

Yup. Although it was far more tame. It was just like, an unwanted thigh rub from a stranger when she was young. That's about it.

The trailer:
>I'm a grown woman who doesn't deserve to be treated like an object, so get out of my space or i'll break your face"

Sounds pretty fuck men to me.

Its a wacky cartoon for adults

The first 2 episodes are the weakest, it gets better afterwards.

That very same episode we discover that she actually gets off on being manhandled

My mom grew up in the bad side of Chicago, and I think she got molested, but the way she talks about it kind of indirect.

>Sounds pretty fuck men to me.
It isn't. Asking for respect doesn't mean hating men, user. Come on...

That does not negate the purpose of putting that line there.

Implying that the average man regularly doesn't is saying fuck men.

I'm waiting on the MEGA

I too come from a catholic family.

That line doens't mean fuck men in the first place, though.

See

>Sounds pretty fuck men to me.
That happens right after she gets catcalled and harassed in the park while going on a jog, like it's pretty split, some guys are good and some guys are bad, and Bertie has a messed up past with guys so her sexuality is all over the place to the point where she doesnt really know what she wants from the men in her life, this isnt used as an excuse to make her in the right though, she's called out when she does something wrong.

Gibbering word doens't make you make a point. Please make a sentence that actually make sense.

Demanding respect doesn't mean "fuck men"

Someone sure is defensive, there.

Just watched ep1 and surprisingly enjoyed it. I think anyone expecting Bojack 2.0 should leave their hype at the gates, it's not that. Far wackier and looser with its format (the plants shit is bizarre but it's an interesting hook), though it does touch upon some relationship matters in a similarly mature and honest way

go to tvmuse dot cc

type in "tuca" into the search bar

you're welcome

Huh, you were right. Episode 3 was actually... kind of good.

The show is alright but you absolutely have to not expect Bojack kind of stuff here. This is surreal and absurd and doesn't do gut punch stories. There are no messages about over coming trauma to be better, just weird jokes and situations.

There is no woman on the internet.....

This show is a clusterfuck. A black autistic girl trapped inside a toucans body who is crass and 'sassy' is friends with a meek white girl in some other kind of bird body. I think they knew the show needed to have a pair of tits every 8-10 minutes to keep some of the audience's attention. The show kinda borders on lolsorandumb humor and I couldn't get passed episode 2.

>There are no messages about over coming trauma to be better, just weird jokes and situations.
Finish the season

So glad I stopped after season 2 ended. Do I pick back up, y/n?

I'm extremely pale, overweight, and a woman and I couldn't finish the first episode. I don't think it's necessarily bad but it's just not my sense of humor.

The show this thread is about only has one season so far.

It's like a more adult themed Regular Show, but with the Bojack aesthetic.

It was clear I was talking about bojack

Well. It's not Close Enough. But, it's close enough.

oh man plz get out your smell of insecurity is leaking all over the fucking place

It might be, but it’s definitely wacky and surreal in a way media targeted towards women rarely is. It has the “lol relatable” stuff but a lot of the humor is oddball, meta, or just plain bizarre. Plus it’s an adult cartoon with 25 minute episodes that fully embraces the fact that it’s animated, which is different

heh

>Speckle's fav porn is vanilla as fuck to the point of banality
>But he can also easily take the reigns in domination play
What's your deal Speckle

Huh.

>I'm a grown woman who doesn't deserve to be treated like an object
>Sounds pretty fuck men to me

sounds like somebody doesn't realize how badly he treated his ex

Have sex.

Look up duck dick

As we saw in that '10 hours walking' video..
a) only black men do that
b) most of them do it in a mild inoffensive way, like saying 'hello' or 'hey beautiful!'
Also that girl was dressed slutty. If you dress normally or stay in good neighborhoods no one will say anything to you at all, probably.

It's generous to assume he has any exes.

>with annoying unlikable characters?
So exactly like Bojack?

Watching the first few episodes, this feels less like Bojack for women, and more like a raunchier (and shitter) Aggretsuko.

Watched a few episodes
its not bad per se, Tuca is annoying and overbearing. I feel like if it was just about Bertie herself and her daily struggles it would be a bit better.
but Speckle is cute and this show has potential

This really confused me. When she is first man handled she had to start masterbating because she was so turned on, later dreamed about the guy and was tempted to confess her feelings.

About two episodes later he does it to another girl and he is called a creep and Bertie is shamed for letting him do it. Is the show saying some girls like being assaulted but they should feel shame about it?

She's sexually attracted to him, but that doesn't make his actions okay, and brings to Berties attention that what he's doing isn't appropriate, and she only ignored it, or hell even encouraged it, because of her own sexual frustration.

Watched maybe a quarter of episode 1. Unbearable.

Skipped episode 2.

Watched episode 3, and was actually pretty impressed. Mellows out, was somewhat enjoyable.

Episodes 4 and 5 were also very decent.

I suppose I'll watch all the episodes, but I'm surprised the quality rises with each episode.
